General Informations
The device must be switched off for service and maintenance work.
You should service and clean the parts of the device listed below at the specified intervals.
In addition, please note the following:
Take care not to drop any cleaning liquids into the device.
Only use the cleaning material listed in this manual. Do not use thinners.
Information where to order the listed cleaning materials is given in the chapter "Cleaning materials".
Maintenance
Check the dust box once a day and empty it if necessary.
Perform a visual inspection of the coin hoppers and coin paths.
Clean the coin paths.
Cleaning the housing
Cleaning interval: as needed
Cleaning material: Wet cleaning cloths
for stainless steel surfaces Ballistol oil for cleaning stainless steel
for varnished surfaces Wincor Nixdorf cleaning set
for plastic surfaces Wincor Nixdorf cleaning set
Cleaning the coin paths
The conveyer belts must not come into contact with alcohol.
Clean the coin paths with compressed air.
Cleaning interval: when necessary, at least once a month
Cleaning material: Wincor Nixdorf air duster
Cleaning the coin validator
Clean the coin validator with cleaning swabs.
Cleaning interval: when necessary, at least once a month
Cleaning material: Cleaning swabs
Except for the Coin Validator all components of the iCASH 15E must be cleaned
and maintained by trained and authorized Service personnel only! Unauthorized or
inexpert cleaning or maintenance will invalidate your warranty and liability protection.

Coin Validator (User and Service Staff)
Unlock the iCASH 15 (1) and pull out the unit (2).
Swing the front cover open (1).

Unlock the green levers (arrows) and open the cover to the right.

Always use a commercially available hard toothbrush to clean the device. Finally, clean the
area with a slightly moistened (Isopropylalkohol) cloth and then dry it.
To clean the whole area (shaded area) turn the green wheel (1) to bring the rotor (2) to a different
position. Pay special attention to the thickly white marked area (3).
Mount the device in logically reverse order.

Conveyer Belt (Service Staff only)
Start the software application to run the conveyer belt. Start deposite and cover the light
barriers with your cleaning cloth to start running the conveyer belt.
Clean the running conveyer belt
with a wet cloth. The liquid must not
contain alcohol!
Never use spray.
Clean the light barrier sensors from
dirt and dust with compressed air.
Find 6 holes (sensors inside, 3 on
each side (see arrows).

Coin Conveyer Sensors (Service Staff only)
Unlock the iCASH 15 (1) and pull out the unit (2).
Swing the front cover open (1).

Unlock the green levers (arrows) and open the cover to the right.
While holding the cover open, press the coin conveyer unit lockings carefully to the right and to
the left (see arrows) and open the device.

Never use a knife, a scissor or any other sharp objects to clean the device!

Clean the light barrier sensors using a cotton bud moistened with Isopropylalcohol.
The
conveyer belts
must not come into contact with alcoholic solutions.
After cleaning close the coin conveyer belt housing and the coin validator with the green lever.
Close the device.

Hopper Sensor (Service Staff only)
Unlock the iCASH 15 (1) and pull out the unit (2).
Swing the front cover open (1).

Unlock the unit (1) and swing it upwards to the stop (2).
Remove all hoppers to clean the sensor (1) with a cloth moistened with Isopropylalcohol.
Set the hoppers back in place.
