Mounting
1. PlacetheiPlugDim into an outlet socket.
2. Pluginthedevicewhichyouwanttocontrolanddim.

1. MakesureyourZ‐Wavecontrollerisintherightoperationmode(includeorexclude).
2. Pressandholdthepushbuttonfor4secondsandreleasetostarttheinclusionorexclusionprocess
(indicationmode:Readyforlearnmode).
3. (TheproductwillstartNWIautomaticallyafterunsuccessfulnormalinclusion)
Manualcontrol
PressandreleasethepushbuttonoftheiPlugDimto switch on/off the load of socket, press and hold the
push button to dim the load of the socket.
Remotecontrol
TheiPlugDim can be remotecontrolled byseveralZ‐Wave devices.
Indicationmodes
Theindicatorgivesvariousstatusesofthedeviceasfollows:
1. Readyforlearnmode: Indicatorlightblinkseverysecond.
2. Learninprogress(add):Indicatorlightblinks2timeseverysecond.
3. Learninprogress(remove):Indicatorlightblinks3timeseverysecond.
4. Learnmodesuccess: Indicatorlightisonforsecond.
5. Learnmodefailed: Indicatorlightblinks8timesfast.

andperformactionsbasedonthecommand.AroutingslavecanrouteZ‐Wavemessagestoothernodesinthe
network.ThisdeviceisalwaysawakeanddoesnotgotosleepmodebecauseitisanACpowereddevice.
ThisdevicecanactasawirelessrepeatertoforwardcommandsforanotherdeviceintheZ‐Wavenetworkto
expandtherangeofthenetwork.ThisfunctionworksforeveryZ‐Wavedevicefromanymanufacturerwhen
includedintothesameZ‐Wavenetwork.
Unlikeanormalslavearoutingslavecanstoreanumberofstaticrouteswhichheusestosendaroutedrf
frametoanothernode.

TheincludeinitiatorisusedwhenPrimaryandInclusionControllersincludenodesintothenetwork.When
