BasicOperations
‐TheiDoorSensor canbe placedonanydoororwindow.
‐The iDoorSensor canreport the statusofthedoor(OPEN/CLOSED).
‐TheiDoorSensor canmeasurethetemperature.
‐TheiDoorSensor alsohas anexternalcontact.
Mounting
1. Useaflatscrewdriverattheinletsonthesidestogentlyunlockthebackcover.
2. Usethedesignatedholesonthebackcovertomountthe iDoorSensor.
3. PlacetwoAAA1,5Vbatteriesintothedevice.
4. Placethe iDoorSensor onto thebackcover,besuretocloseitonallsides
andthatthetampergetsthroughthebackcoveroftheiDoorSensor(indicationmode:
Tamperpressed/released).
5. After3secondsstartuproutinebegins(indicationmode:Readyforlearnmode).
6. After5moreseconds(8secondsintotal)mountingiscompleted.(indicationmode:Mounting
successful)
7. iDoorSensoris now ready to use.
8. Removethebackcoverofthemagnetandrepeatstep2and4withthemagnetformountingit.

1. MakesureyourZ‐Wavecontrollerisintherightoperationmode(includeorexclude).
2. Whenthe iDoorSensor is mounted,removeitfromthebackcoverasexplainedinsteponeofthe
Mountinginstructions.
3. Pressandholdthetamperswitchfor1secondandrelease to startthe inclusion orexclude process
(indicationmode:Readyforlearnmode).
