Introduction
The Levitate 3 Tent provides a unique opportunity for you and your friends to
experience the great outdoors with a whole new level of freedom and comfort.
The Levitate 3 Tent is a treehouse you can take anywhere, as it combines the
versatility of a hammock with the comfort and security of a tent.
The Levitate 3 Tent comprises a triple hammock, suspended in tension above the
ground and enclosed in a simple insect mesh top and fly sheet cover.
Its unique design creates a comfortable base camp, eliminating worries about
ground conditions, and provides increased protection against insects, snakes and
other predators – if you venture somewhere more exotic.

Terms of Use
The Levitate 3 Tent should be set up only as outlined
in this manual.
NEVER jump into, onto or use it as a trampoline or
swing. It is not intended to be used for rock climbing,
cliff faces, overhangs or above or next to large
drops.
DO NOT attempt to use this product for anything
another than its intended purpose, and always
observe height and weight limits.
DO NOT use walls, fences, street furniture, roof
racks, movable platforms, posts or trees less than
10 in (25 cm) in diameter as anchor points, as they
may not be strong enough.
DO NOT use tensioning components other than
those supplied with this product.
DO NOT set up higher than 4’ (1.2m) from the ground
or above hard, sharp or pointy objects.
Tactile and visual checks should be made to
ALL tent components and ALL anchor points before
each use.
Replace any damaged elements if any are found.
Keep away from fire and sharp objects.
DO NOT use after the consumption of any
intoxicating substances.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
DO NOT attach to trees or branches that show
signs of structural weakness.
DO NOT adjust/open ratchets while the tent
is occupied.
DO NOT use during lightning storms or high winds.
DO NOT use in areas of unstable ground.
This tent does not offer protection from all animals.

performed by adults.
Do not use any other components, parts, tools or
materials other than those included in this package,
as recommended in this manual.
A hanging and/or suspension system is only as
strong as its weakest link and all instructions and
guidelines must be followed.
The Levitate 3 Tent must only be used in the
manner described in this manual. When assembled
and installed, the Leviate 3 Tent places significant
stress on the anchor points and great care must be
exercised when using it to reduce the risk of injury
and/or death.
Overloading the Levitate 3 Tent with more than
880 pounds (400 kg) increases the stress and
may cause anchor, tree tent and/or any parts to
fail, resulting in injury and/or death.
The manufacturer and resellers of the
Woods Tree Tent explicitly disclaim any and all
responsibility and liability for any death, paralysis,
injury, and/or damage to any person or property
that may occur that arises out of or is in any way
related to the use of this product.
Using any equipment that is suspended above
ground can be a dangerous activity that may
result in serious injury and/or death even when
used properly. Use at your own risk and always
use common sense.

Positioning the Levitate 3 Tent
The Levitate 3 Tent needs 3 secure and strong anchor points to suspend from.
The distances are marked here. Once the location is found, lay out the main tent on the
ground as the reference point for the straps.

Alignment Sight Lines
Use line-of-sight to look down the ratchet strap
and up the seam of the underoor straps on the
tent oor. The straighter these are, the better. You
have a margin of tolerance of about 7º on either
side before performance is impacted.

1. Wrap the loop end of each
strap around your chosen trees.

With a location found,
start by wrapping the tree straps
around the chosen trees.

2. Once wrapped around the tree,
thread the strap and pull it all
through towards the tent.
3. Ensure the strap is
flat against the tree
and not twisted.

4, Begin by ensuring the
strap is not twisted.
Attaching the ratchet
Attach the ratchets to the D-rings at each
corner of the base.
You will need to loosen and readjust the lengths
of each strap until the tent is aligned for equal
tension.

5. Feed the loop end through
the D-ring to half way.
6. Now feed the ratchet /
webbing lock through the
loop of the strap.
7. Pull it tight securing
it to the D-ring.
8. Pull the ratchet towards the
the tree that will be attached to
the ratchet.

9. Ensuring there’s enough
length, bring the ratchet
strap and the tree strap
together.
Attaching the Ratchet
With the ratchet straps attached to the
D-ring, it can now be connected to the tree
strap length. Once attached, check the overall
position of the base and that it is correctly
aligned.

13. Give a strong pull before
cranking the ratchet.
12. Take up the slack and pull
towards the tree strap
to create tension.
10. Feed the tree strap end
through the slot in ratchet.
11. Feed it into the slot and pull
it through making sure it
does not twist.

14. Release the ratchet lock
by pushing the inner
latch upwards.
Tightening the Ratchet
Cranking the ratchet will give the tension
needed and allows for easy adjustment.
Ensure the ratchet is correctly in the Locked
position before entering the tent.
Attention - Ratchet Locking
Crank the ratchet handle back & forth
7- 9 times to increase tension to straps.

has strong resistance.

closed position and lock.

19. Lay the mesh inner tent
on the base.

Secure the mesh inner tent to the base
using webbing and buckles.
There is a 3-pole structure supplied;
straighten each one.

20. Attach the mesh to each
corner with the webbing
and bungee cord.
21. Attach the elastic webbing
underneath the base , making
sure the 8 elastic webbings are
tight enough.
22. Attach the inner tent to
the hub using the ties. 23. Use the three hooks closest to the hub
to secure the mesh to the
pole structure.

24. At this point each pole should
be aligned to a corner.
Raising the structure
At each corner of the oor, there is a pole
socket into which a pole is inserted.
There are hooks on the inner tent to
connect the mesh to the poles.
