Congratulations on your new HELO Extense!
The non-invasive device for blood sugar level
measurement.
Thanks to sophisticated technology and the use of
certified medical sensors, Helo Extense is an inno-
vative device that allows you to take an easy blood
sugar level measurement while avoiding the pain
caused by pricking your finger with other methods of
measurement.

DISPLAY AND BUTTONS
The multi-function button allows you to switch the
device from on/off.
HELO Extense is equipped with a monochrome
DOT-LCD display that allows you to read and see
information and settings:
• Recharge Icon
A charging icon appears on the display when the
device is connected to the charging cable and
battery is charging.
• Battery Icon
This icon shows the current battery level on the
display.

NOTE: The Extense display does not show the
measurement details. Please refer to the app to
view the measurements details and information.
• Bluetooth Icon
The Bluetooth icon that appears on the display
can show two operation status:
- Flashing; when the device is on but is not
paired/connected to a smartphone.
- Fixed; when HELO Extense is currently paired/
connected to a smartphone.
• Messages
The display shows the status of the Measure-
ment in progress and firmware update procedu-
res during the execution of these operations.

• Measurement Tips
In order to perform a measurement correctly
with your HELO Extense, you need to follow these
simple tips.
Since the device comes equipped with several
measurement sensors, allocated explicitly inside
the device, to ensure correct detection, you must

place your finger inside the device following the
natural conformation and frame of the device.
Make sure your finger covers all the sensors
located on the bottom, on the left side, and the
finger socket, as shown in the illustration.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
HELO EXTENSE is a simple-to-use device that
requires no special maintenance.
It is good practice to follow some tips:
• Wash hands thoroughly before measuring.
• Periodically clean the device with the supplied
cloth.
• Do not insert objects into the sensor compart-
ment.
• Do not force the opening beyond the allowed
limit.
• Do not use charging cables or power supplies
different from the following indicated require-
ments.
• Do not expose the device to water.

Note: Extense is equipped with a sophisticated software able
to self-adjust the functioning and to calibrate the sensors be-
fore making any measurement, analyzing the user skin type.
The estimated time for this calibration can vary from 10 se-
conds to a minute, during this operation the device indicates
the operating status. The user requires no additional action
at this stage, but wait for the process to complete itself.

DISPLAY E PULSANTI
Il tasto multifunzione permette di accendere e
spegnere il device.
HELO Extense è dotato di un display DOT-LCD mo-
nocromatico che consente di leggere e visualizzare
informazioni e impostazioni:
• Icona di ricarica
Una icona di ricarica appare sul display quando il
dispositivo è collegato al cavo di ricarica.
• Icona batteria
Una icona appare sul display per mostrare il livello
di ricarica della batteria

NOTA: Il display di Extense non riporta i dettagli
della misurazione effettuata. Occorre fare
riferimento all’app per visualizzare i dettagli delle
misurazioni effettuate.
• Icona Bluetooth
L’icona del bluetooth che appare sul display, può
mostrare due stati di operatività ed essere:
- Lampeggiante; quando il dispositivo è acceso
ma non è collegato allo smartphone
- Fissa; quando HELO Extense è correttamente
connesso ad un dispositivo mobile.
• Messaggi
Il display visualizza lo stato di Misurazione in cor-
so ed eventuale procedura di aggiornamento del
firmware durante l’esecuzione di tali operazioni.

• Consigli per la misurazione
Per poter effettuare correttamente una misu-
razione utilizzando Helo Extense, è necessario
seguire alcune semplici consigli di utilizzo.
Poiché il dispositivo è dotato di numerosi sensori
di misurazione, disposti in maniera specifica
all’interno del device, per poter assicurare una

corretta rilevazione occorre posizionare il dito
all’interno del dispositivo seguendo la naturale
conformazione del dispositivo, assicurandosi cosi
di coprire tutti i sensori che si trovano sul fondo,
sul lato sinistro e sull’alloggimanto del dito, come
mostrato nella figura di esempio.

CURA E MANUTENZIONE
HELO EXTENSE è un dispositivo semplice da usare
che non richiede particolare manutenzione.
È buona norma seguire alcuni consigli:
• Lavare accuratamente le mani prima della
misurazione;
• Pulire periodicamente il dispositivo con il panno
in dotazione;
• Non introdurre oggetti nel comparto sensori;
• Non forzare l’apertura oltre il limite consentito;
• Non utilizzare cavi di ricarica o alimentatori che
non rispettino i requisiti indicati al punto 5;
• Non esporre il device all’acqua.
