PANEL DESCRIPTION
When Installing theAmplifier
DO NOT installing or mounting the amplifier in unstable locations, such as on the rickety table or
the slanted surface. It may result in the amplifier falling down and causing body injury and/or
property damage.
Be sure to ground to the safety ground (earth) terminal to avoid electric shock. Never to ground to
a gas pipe for tragic disaster may occur.
Use the amplifier only with the voltage specified on the amplifier. Using the voltage higher than
specified may cause fire or electric shock.
DO NOT cut, twist, damage, nor modify the power supply cord. In addition, avoid using the
power cord close to heaters, and don’t place heavy object, including the amplifier itself, on the
power cord, for it may cause fire or electric shock.
DO NOT expose the amplifier to rain or the environment where it may be splashed by water or
other liquids, for doing so, it may cause fire or electric shock.

When using the Amplifier
When found following irregular situation during amplifier is in use, immediately switch off the
power, disconnect the power supply plug from the AC outlet. Don’t try to operate the amplifier
again. Contact your local dealer to check the amplifier.
The amplifier falls.
Amplifier is malfunction.
Water or any metallic object gets into the amplifier.
The smoke or strange smell coming from the amplifier.
The power supply cord is damaged, such as exposure of the core, disconnection etc..
DO NOT put cups, bowls, or other containers withliquid or metallic object in it on the top of the
amplifier. If they spill accident ally into the amplifier, it may result in fire or electric shock.
DO NOT touch the power supply plug during thundering and lightning, for it may result in electric
shock.
DO NOT insert or drop the metallicobjects or flammable materials into the ventilation slots of the
amplifier, for it may result in fire or electric shock.
DO NOT open nor remove the amplifier cover to prevent fire or electric shock, for there are high
voltage components inside the amplifier.
PANEL DESCRIPTION
When Installing theAmplifier
DO NOT remove nor plug in the power supply plug with wet hands, for it may cause electric shock.
When unplug the power supply cord, be sure to grasp the power supply plug. DO NOT pull on the
cord itself. Operating the amplifier with damaged power supply cord may cause fire or electric
shock.
Avoid installing the amplifier in humid or dusty places, the area exposed to the direct sunlight,
locations generating smoke or steam, or the spot near the heaters. It may result in fire or electric
shock.
When moving the amplifier, be sure to remove its power supply cord from the wall outlet. Moving
the amplifier with the power cord connected to the outlet may cause damage to the power cord, and
resulting in fire or electric shock. When removing the power cord, be sure to grasp its plug to pull.
DO NOT block the ventilation slots ofthe amplifier chassis. It will cause the temperature rising
and result in fire.

7. Funcionamiento
La unidad dispone de 4 entradas auxiliares que pueden ser usadas para conectar otras fuentes de señal
como sintonizadores de radio, CD, pletinas de cassette. Un interruptor deslizante situado cerca de
AUX1/MIC 2 en el panel trasero permite seleccionar MIC 2 o AUX 1. Las entradas AUX 2- 4 disponen
de conector RCA dual y disponen de un conversor de estéreo a mono para cada canal.
Los terminales “high level” son para el conexionado de fuentes de señal procedentes de la salida de otros
amplificadores, los cuales están normalmente conectados a altavoces.
Hay 5 terminales de salida en el panel trasero. Cada terminal dispone de 3 salidas de altavoz:
8 ohm, 70 V y 100 V. Utilice sólo una de las conexiones.
Después de que todas las conexiones estén correctas, coloque el selector de tipo de fuente de entrada de
cada canal en la posición correspondiente de acuerdo a la fuente de señal. Si es necesario, coloque los
controles de tono y volumen a su elección.
Antes de usar la entrada MIC 1 en el panel frontal, asegúrese que el control de nivel de MIC 1 está en la
posición adecuada (no al máximo). Configure los pulsadores de cada canal para controlar la función MUTE.
Colocando los pulsadores en esta posición sólo la voz procedente de MIC 1 se escuchará, mientra que si
algún MUTE no se pulsa de oirá la fuente conectada a ese canal y MIC 1. Si es necesario ajustar el volumen,
gire el control de nivel MIC 1 y los fader de los canales 1-5.

When Using the Amplifier
Make sure that the volume control is turned to minimum position before power is switched on.
Loud sound produced at high volume when power is switched on may impair hearing.
DO NOT place heavy objects on the amplifier, for it may cause it fall and may result in body injury
and/or property damage. Besides, the object itself may cause damaged or body injury.
DO NOT operate the amplifier forthe extended period of time with the sound distorting. It is an
indication of malfunction, which can cause heat and result in fire.
Switch the power off, and unplug the power supply plug from theAC outlet for safety purposes,
when cleaning or leaving the amplifier unused for 7 days or more. Fire or electric shock may occur.
If the dust accumulates on the power supply plug or in the wall AC outlet, fire may result in.
Clean it periodically. In addition, make sure the plug is inserted in the wall outlet securely.
Contact your local dealer to clean the dust, it the dust has accumulated in the amplifier for a long
period of time. Dust accumulation may result in fire or damage.
2. Description
PA 5506 is the mixer amplifier designed for up to 5 channels (zones) application. Each
channel output is 50W RMS. And each one has its own bass, treble, and level (volume) control.
There are 6 input sources: Aux 1 ~ 4, and 2 “High Level” inputs. “High Level” input is for
the connection from the output of other amplifier, no matter it is 8 ohm, 70V, or 100V.
The front MIC. 1 input has the voice priority function with level control. Each channel has one
push switch to select to mute its own signal source or not.
To ensure the amplifier safety, it has speaker short, over temperature, and over load protection.
The output connection is 8 ohm, 70V, and 100V screw terminal.
It accepts AC 115V/230V 50/60 Hz and DC 24V input.
PA 5506 is the ideal mixer amplifier for multi-zone with multi sources.

Función MUTE
El transformador de red ha sido diseñado para su uso tanto a 115 como a 230 V (50/60 Hz)
seleccionables mediante un conmutador en el panel trasero. El amplificador viene de serie
con el selector en la posición 230 V.
Cuando utilice baterías externas, conecte a masa la unidad mediante el tornillo de masa (la estabilidad
eléctrica del sistema será mejor con un buen conexionado de toma de tierra). A la hora de conectar
las baterías, asegúrese de la correcta polaridad.
Las entrada MIC 1 tiene prioridad de voz sobre los canales 1-5. Presione el pulsador de cada canal
situado enb el panel frontal para “mutear” la funete de señal correspondiente.

The supply transformer has been designed for use on either 115V or 230V, (50-60Hz), selected by a
push switch on the rear panel. The amplifier is factory set at 230V AC mains voltage.
DC Power Source

When using external batteries, ground the amplifier via the screw terminal. (Electrical stability of
the system will be improved by providing a good earth ground.) When connecting batteries please
ensure correct polarity.

Mic1~2 inputs are unbalanced standard 1/4” Phone Jack.
Mute Function
Priority Microphone, Mic1 input has VOX priority over CH 1~5. Press the push switch of each
channel on the front panel to mute the corresponding signal source.
Cuando use el amplificador
Asegúrese que el control de volumen está al mínimo antes de encender la unidad. El sonido producido
con volúmenes elevados al encender la unidad puede afectar a la audición.
NO coloque objetos pesados sobre el amplificador, podría causar su caída y ocasionar daños físicos a
personas o propiedades. Además el propio objeto podría causar daños físicos.
NO haga funcionar el amplificador durante un tiempo prolongado con sonido distorsionado. Esto es una
indicación de mal funcionamiento, el cual puede causar aumento excesivo de la temperatura y fuego.
Apague la unidad y desconéctela de la toma mural por seguridad a la hora de limpiar o no usar la unidad
durante 7 días o más.
Si se acumula el polvo el la toma mural o en la clavija, puede ocasionar fuego. Límpielos periódicamente
Además asegúrese que la clavija se inserta adecuadamente en la toma mural.
Contacte con su distribuidor para limpiar el polvo si éste se acumula en el interior del amplificador
durante mucho tiempo. La acumulación de polvo puede causar daños o fuego en la unidad.
2. Descripción
PA 5506 es un amplificador con mezclador diseñado para 5 canales (zonas).
Cada salida de canal es de 50 W RMS. Y cada canal dispone de sus propios controles de graves,
agudos y volumen. Hay 6 fuentes de entrada: AUX 1-4, y 2 entrada de “Alto nivel”. Estas entradas
son para la conexión desde la salida de otros amplificadores, da igual que sean 8 ohm, 70V o 100V.
La entrada frontal MIC 1 tiene función de prioridad de voz con control de nivel. Cada canal tiene
un pulsador para seleccionar el “mutear” la fuente de señal o no.
Para asegurar la seguridad del amplificador, la unidad dispone de protección ante cortocircuitos,
sobretemperatura y sobrecarga.
La conexión de salida es de 8 ohmios, 70 V y 100 V mediante terminales.

Aux Connection (Input)
The equipment provides 4 auxiliary input which may be used for connecting other signal sources
such as a Radio Tuner, CD or Cassette player. A slide switch is located near by AUX1/MIC 2 on the
rear panel for selection of Mic2 orAux1. Aux 2 ~ 4 inputs are a dual RCA jack and has a stereo to
mono converter for each channel

High Level Input Connection
The “High Level” terminal is for connecting the signal sources from other amplifier output, which
is normally connected to the speaker.
Output Connection
There are 5 output terminals on the rear panel. Each terminal has 3 speaker outputs: 8 ohm, 70V
and 100V. Use only one of these outputs for connection.
7. Operation
After all connections are completed, turn the Input Source Selection Switch of each channel to set
on the corresponding position for the signal source. If necessary, turn the bass, treble, and volume
control to what you desire.
Before using the microphone 1 on the front panel to broadcast, make sure the level (volume) control
of MIC 1 is at proper position (not at maximum position). Set the push switch of each channel to
control the mute function of its own channel signal source. Switch-down is to mute signal source,
only the voice from MIC 1 can be heard, while switch-up does not mute signal source, both voice
from MIC 1 and channel signal can be heard. If necessary to adjust the volume further, turn the
level control of MIC 1 and/or of Channel 1 ~ 5.

CAUTION
Cuando encuentre cualquiera de las siguientes situaciones irregulares durante el uso del amplificador, apague
inmediatamente la unidad y desconecte el cable de la toma de red. No trate de hacer funcionar la unidad de
nuevo. Contacte con su distribuidor local para comprobar la unidad.
- El amplificador ha cíido
- El amplificador funciona mal
- Agua u objetos metálicos han entrado en el amplificador
- Humo u olor extraño sale del amplificador,
- El cable de red está dañado, el cobre expuesto, desconectado, etc.
No coloque vasos, copas u otros contenedores con líquido u objetos metálicos sobre el amplificador. Si
accidentalmente caen dentro del amplificador, pueden causar fuego o descargas eléctricas.
No toque el cable de red durante tormentas o rayos, podría provocar descargas eléctricas.
No inserte o coloque objetos metálicos o material inflamable por las rejillas de ventilación del amplificador,
podría causar fuego o descaras eléctricas.
No abra o retire la tapa del amplificador para prevenir fuego o descargas eléctricas debido a la alta tensión
de los componentes internos.
No desconecte la toma de red de la base con las manos mojadas, podría ocasionar descargas eléctricas.
Cuando desconecte el cable de red, asegúrese de cogerlo desde la clavija. NO estire el cable. Hacer funcionar
el amplificador con el cable de red dañado, puede ocasionar fuego o descargas eléctricas.
Evite instalar el amplificador en lugares humedos o con polvo, áreas expuesta a luz solar directa, lugares con
humo o vapor o cerca de estufas, esto podría ocasionar fuego o descargas eléctricas.
Cuando mueva el amplificador, asegúrese de desconectar el amplificador de la toma de red mural. Mover el
amplificador con la toma de red conectada puede dañar el amplificador o ocasionar fuego o descargas eléctricas.
Cuando retire el cable de red, asegúrese de cogerlo desde la clavija.
No bloquee las tomas de ventilación de la unidad. Podría causar que aumente la temperatura y provocar fuego.
