General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this LED work lamp (referred to below
only as the “lamp”). It contains important information about start-up and
handling.
Before using the lamp, please read through the user manual carefully.
This particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to observe this user manual
may result in severe injury or damage to the lamp.
Store the user manual for future use. If you pass the lamp on to third parties, please
be absolutely sure to include this user manual.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the lamp or
on the packaging.
WARNING!
This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with moderate degree of risk which may lead to
death or severe injury if not avoided.
CAUTION!
This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with low risk that, if not avoided, may result in
minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE! This signal word warns against potential damages
to property.
This symbol provides you with useful additional information regarding
start-up or handling.

Proper use
The lamp is solely designed for use as illumination for an indoor work area such as a
workshop. The lamp is not suitable for use as a reading light. It is only intended for
private use and not suitable for commercial or outdoor purposes. The lamp is not
waterproof.
Only use the lamp as described in this user manual. Any other use is deemed
improper and may result in damage to property or even personal injury. The lamp is
not a children’s toy.
The manufacturer or vendor accepts no liability for damage caused by improper or
incorrect use.

1. Risk of Electric Shock.
2. For indoor use only.
3. Check prior use, if output voltage and currect of the power
supply is suitable for the product.
4. The plug is used as disconnect device. The socket-outlet shall
be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
5. The cover may under no circumstances be opened. If the cover
is damaged, then the power supply may no longer be used.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.

WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Improper use, faulty electrical installation or excessive line voltage
may result in an electric shock.
− Only connect the lamp if the line voltage of the socket corre-
sponds to the specification on the rating plate of the power
adapter (100–240V).
− Only connect the car adapter to a cigarette lighter if voltage
of the latter corresponds to the technical specification on the
rating plate.
− Only connect the lamp to an easily accessible power source so
that you can quickly disconnect it from the power grid in case
of a failure.
− Do not operate the lamp if it or its accessories display any
visible damage or defects.
− Do not operate the lamp if it has fallen to the ground.
− Do not open the housing nor make any alterations to the lamp.
Have qualified professionals perform repairs. To do so, contact
the service address indicated on the warranty card. Liability and
warranty claims are waived in the event of repairs performed by
the user, improper connection or incorrect operation.
− Do not immerse the lamp, adapter cord or adapter in water or
other liquids.
− Never touch the adapter with wet hands.
− Never pull the adapter out of the socket by the adapter cord;
instead, always do so by taking hold of the adapter.
− Never use the adapter cord as a carrying strap.
− Keep the lamp, the adapter cord and the adapter away from
open flames and hot surfaces.
− Lay the adapter cord so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
− Do not kink the adapter cord and do not lay it over sharp edges.

− Only use the lamp in rooms located indoors. Never use it in wet
rooms or in the rain.
− Never position the lamp such that there is a risk of it falling in a
tub or sink.
− Never reach to retrieve an electrical device if it has fallen in
water. In such a case, immediately disconnect the power plug.
− Pull the power plug out of the socket if there is a storm.
− Always switch the lamp off and pull the power plug out of the
socket when you are not using the lamp, cleaning it or in the
event of a fault.
WARNING!
Danger for children and persons with impaired physical, sen-
sory or mental capacities (e.g. partially disabled persons, older
persons with reduced physical and mental capacities) or lack of
experience and knowledge (e.g. older children).
− This lamp may be used by children ages eight and over as well
as persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capac-
ities or those lacking experience and knowledge if they are
supervised or have been instructed in how to safely use the
lamp and have understood the risks associated with using it.
Children must not play with the lamp. Cleaning and user main-
tenance must not be performed by unsupervised children.
− Keep children under eight years of age away from the lamp
and its accessories.
− Do not leave the lamp unattended while in use.
WARNING!
Danger of explosion!
Improper handling of the rechargeable battery may cause an ex-
plosion.
− Never short circuit the rechargeable battery.

− Never break the rechargeable battery open.
− Never throw the rechargeable battery in a fire.
− Only use the enclosed accessories to recharge the lamp with
which they are intended to be used.
− Only recharge the lamp with the enclosed accessories.
− Recharge the lamp at normal room temperature (approx. 68 °F
(20°C)).

Fire hazard!
Parts of the lamp become hot during use. Improper handling of the
lamp may cause a fire.
− Do not use the lamp in areas where there is a risk of fire or
explosion.
− Keep the lamp away from flammable materials.
− Do not hang any objects over the lamp or the power adapter.
− Do not cover the lamp or the power adapter with objects.
WARNING!
Risk of chemical burns!
Leaked fluid from the rechargeable batteries could cause burns if it
comes into contact with skin or other body parts.
− Never open the rechargeable battery.
− If battery acid leaks out, avoid contact with skin, eyes and
mucus membranes. In the event of contact, immediately flush
the applicable areas with plenty of clean water and consult a
physician immediately.
− In an emergency, you must wear protective gloves.

CAUTION!
Risk of accident and injury!
Handling the lamp improperly may result in injury.
− Never look directly into the LED light. The LED light is very
bright and could result in eye injury.
− Never shine the lamp into the eyes of another person or
animal.
− If you use the lamp in a car with the car adapter, make sure
that:
• neither the lamp nor the adapter cord pose a risk for the
driver or the passengers. The lamp must be properly stored
and secured at all times.
• all parts of the vehicle (especially the steering wheel and
pedals) are completely accessible during the trip. The driver
may not be impaired in any case.
• the lamp is generally not switched on or used during the
trip and in road traffic in general. The lamp is not suitable for
the interior lighting of the vehicle nor is it suitable for use as
a reading lamp. It could dazzle other road users.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the lamp may damage it.
− Only use the lamp with the enclosed adapters.
− Never place the lamp on or near hot surfaces (stovetops etc.).
− Ensure that the adapter cord does not come into contact with
hot parts.
− Never expose the lamp to high temperatures (heaters etc.),
extreme cold or the effects of the weather (rain etc.).
− Protect the lamp from hard shocks or blows.

− Do not use the lamp for longer than 3 hours. To avoid a dam-
aging total discharge, recharge the rechargeable battery after
this time.
− If the brightness of the LED module has diminished noticeably,
recharge the rechargeable battery immediately. Never use the
lamp until the LED is extinguished.
− Disconnect the lamp from the power supply after each use.
− Make sure that you always switch off the lamp when not
using it.
− If you do not want to use the lamp for a prolonged period of
time, you must fully charge the rechargeable battery before
storing it.
− If you use the lamp in a car with the car adapter, make sure
that:
• the adapter is completely connected to reduce the risk of
overheating.
• the car battery is not old and used up. In this case, do not
connect the lamp with the car's cigarette lighter. Otherwise,
there is a risk that the car may not start.
− Cease using the lamp if the accessories show signs of damage.
Only replace damaged parts with corresponding original spare
parts.

If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a sharp
knife or other pointy objects, you may quickly damage the lamp .
− Be very careful when opening.

1. Take the lamp out of the packaging.
2. Check whether the package contents are complete (see Fig.A and B).
3. Check whether the lamp or the individual parts exhibit damages. If this is the case,
do not use the lamp. Contact the manufacturer at the service address specified on
the warranty card.
Before start-up
If you would like to use the lamp without the adapter cord, you must first charge the
rechargeable battery of the lamp. The rechargeable battery is located in the handle of
the lamp. Charging takes 3 to 4 hours. You can charge the lamp via the socket or the
cigarette lighter of a vehicle.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the lamp may damage it.
− Always switch the lamp off during the charging process.
1. Completely unwind the adapter cord.
2. Pull the lamp apart.
3. Plug the micro USB plug 7of the adapter cord 9into the micro USB port 13
of the lamp (see Fig. C).
4. Plug the USB plug 8of the adapter cord into the power adapter 11 or the car
adapter 10 .
To avoid any discharging of the car battery, the manufacturer recom-
mends charging the lamp via a socket.
5. Connect the power adapter to a socket or the car adapter in the cigarette lighter of
a car.
6. The charging indicator 12 lights up red while the rechargeable battery is
charging.
7. As soon as the charging indicator turns green, the rechargeable battery is com-
pletely charged. Disconnect the lamp from the power supply when this happens.
The lamp features built-in protection against overcharging. Always
disconnect the lamp from the power supply as soon as it is fully
charged.

Operation
The lamp features 1 LED on the front side 4and 1 LED on the top side 1. The LED
on the top side can be tilted to the side (see Fig. D).
The lamp also features a total of 3 magnets on the base 2, meaning that you can
attach the lamp to metal surfaces.
The light sources (LEDs) are not replaceable. If the lamp sources are defective, the en-
tire lamp must be replaced.
You can use the lamp with or without a connection to electric power. If the recharge-
able battery is not completely charged, meaning you would like to use the lamp with
a connection to electric power, proceed to follow the instructions in the next chapter.
Using lamp with connection to electric power
WARNING!
Fire hazard!
Parts of the lamp become hot during use. Improper handling of the
lamp may cause a fire.
− If you notice any smoke or smells of burning while using,
remove the adapter from the socket or cigarette lighter imme-
diately.
1. Completely unwind the adapter cord.
2. Plug the micro USB plug 7of the adapter cord 9into the micro USB port 13
of the lamp.
3. Plug the USB plug 8of the adapter cord into the power adapter 11 or the car
adapter 10 .
4. Connect the power adapter to a properly installed socket or the car adapter in the
cigarette lighter of a car.
5. Switch on the lamp by following the instructions in the chapter “Using lamp with-
out a connection to electric power/Switching on the lamp”.

LED on the front side
− To switch the lamp on, pull the lamp apart.
The LED on the front side 4automatically switches on when pulled out.
− To switch the lamp off, push the lamp back together again.
LED on the top
− To switch the lamp on and off, press the On/Off switch 6.
The LED on the top side 1will switch on.
Adjusting the LED on the top
− To tilt the LED on the top side to the side, press the locking button 5and tilt the
head of the lamp.
− To lock the LED on the top side back into place, place the head of the lamp in the
starting position until you can hear it click into place.
Cleaning
NOTICE!
Risk of short circuit!
Water or other liquids that have penetrated the housing may cause
a short circuit.
− Never submerge the lamp in water or other liquids.
− Make sure that no water or other liquids penetrate the housing.
− Before cleaning, pull the adapter out of the socket or the
cigarette lighter.

NOTICE!
Risk due to improper operation!
Improper handling of the lamp may damage it.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as
knives, hard scrapers and the like. They could damage the
surfaces.
− Never put the lamp in the dishwasher. It would be destroyed
as a result.
1. Make sure that the lamp is switched off and disconnected from the power supply.
2. Clean the lamp with a soft, dry cloth.
3. For stubborn soiling, use a damp cloth or a mild detergent, if necessary.
4. Dry the lamp thoroughly or let it air-dry completely.

WARNING!
Fire hazard!
Bypassing a fuse can cause a fire.
− Never bypass a faulty fuse and only replace the fuse with an-
other fuse of the same type.
If charging via the car adapter 10 does not work but the lamp can be charged using
the power adapter 11 , the fuse built into the car adapter may be defective. Follow
these instructions to replace it:
1. Unscrew the knurled ring on the car adapter by turning it counterclockwise.
2. Replace the defective fuse with a new fuse of the type F2AL250V (2A, 250V, fast).
3. Reinsert the coiled spring and screw the knurled ring with the metal cap clockwise
until tight.

Disposing of the packaging
− Dispose of the packaging separated into single type materials. Dispose of cardboard
and carton as waste paper and film via the recyclable material collection service.
− Dispose of the plastic packaging sorted into single-type materials by making
them available to the collection service for recyclable materials.
Disposing of the lamp
− Should the lamp no longer be capable of being used at some point in time,
dispose of it in accordance with the regulations in force in your city or state.
− Please ensure your recycling information applies to local regulations and the EPA
recommendations (www.epa.gov).
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste!
As the end user you are required by law to bring all batteries and rechargeable bat-
teries, regardless whether they contain harmful substances* or not, to a collection
point run by the communal authority or borough or to a retailer, so that they can be
disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
*labeled with: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead
To remove the rechargeable battery, you will need a Phillips screwdriver and a wire
cutter or pair of scissors.
1. Pull the lamp apart.
2. Loosen the fastening ring 3by turning it counter-clockwise.
3. Pull the LED on the front side 4out completely.
4. Remove all four Phillips-head screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
5. Open the housing of the lamp.
6. Sever the red and blue connecting wires of the battery one by one using the wire
cutter or scissors.
7. Remove the rechargeable battery.
