Before first use:
1. It is recommended to use high-quality class 10 microSD cards for this device (4 to 128 GB).
2. It is necessary to format the memory card to FAT32 format before inserting it into the recorder.
3. Do not remove or insert the memory card while the device in powered on, as this may damage the memory card.
4. The battery allows you to record for no more than 5 minutes without external power.
5. When the memory card is full, the oldest unprotected video will be overwritten.
6. It is recommended to use the device's functions in accordance with their intended purpose. Do not use the MOTION DETECTION or
PARKING SURVEILLANCE mode while driving as this may cause automatic turning the device on and off, during a stop at the intersection.
It is recommended to set the G –SENSOR sensitivity level at a minimum, in order to avoid securing unnecessary recordings and the loss
of space on the memory card. The memory card must be formatted in FAT32 format first on the PC and then on the recorder.
7. Sound: the device has a capacitive microphone, recording all the sounds from the environment. The sounds may overlap causing
distortion.

MENU:
Video Mode
1. Resolution
Defines the quality of video recordings. The higher the resolution the better the quality of recordings, but such files take up more
space on the memory card.
2. Loop recording
Length of the video recordings. The selected option is symbolized by an icon during the recording, which is located on the left side of
the screen (off the menu).
3. WDR –wide dynamic range
4. G-SENSOR settings
Sets the sensitivity of the sensor or disables it. When the sensor is activated at the moment of impact, the recorded file is protected
against being overwritten. It is recommended to set one of the following values (2G or 4G), because at a higher value (8G) camera
can capture shock at the car bumps.

5. Exposure
Exposure settings.
6. Motion Detection
When you enable this option and leave the camera in standby mode, powered on, the camera will record a short (10 second) video
every time motion is detected in front of it. If you manually stop recording, the option will be automatically disabled.
7. Sound recording
8. Enables and disables audio in recordings. You can quickly turn it on/off (off the menu) by long-pressing the UP Button.
9. Date stamp
Enables and disables the date and time on the recording.
Photo Mode
1. Picture Mode
Single Photo/Timer 2s/Timer 5s/Timer 10s
2. Resolution
This option allows you to change the resolution of the photos.
3. Sequence of photos
When you select this option, pressing the OK key takes a series of 3, 5 or 10 pictures instead of just one.
4. Quality
Sets the quality of the pictures.
5. Sharpness
Sets the sharpness level of the pictures.
6. White Balance
White balance settings.
7. Color
You can choose from: color, black and white, sepia

8. ISO
ISO settings.
9. Exposure
Exposure settings.
10. Image stabilization
Enables and disables stabilization for taking photos.
11. Date stamp
Enables and disables the date and time on the photo.
Playback Mode
1. Delete
Deletes the selected file or files.
2. Protect
Makes the selected file or files protected/unprotected against being overwritten.
3. Slide show
Main Menu
1. Wi-fi (more detail about this function you can find on page 16)
Turn ON/OFF Wi-fi
2. Date and Time
Sets the date and time for the camera.
3. Auto shutting down
Sets the time after which the camera turns off, once the engine shuts down (it only works when the camera is recording). It is possible to
disable this option.

4. Button sounds.
Enables and disables button sounds.
5. Park Mode
When this function is turned on, and the camera is left in the car, powered on, it captures the shock of the car (for example, when our car
is hit by another car), turns on and starts recording. The higher value is set the more sensitive the camera is.
6. Language
Sets the language for the menu of the camera.
7. TV Mode
Switching between NTSC and PAL
8. Screen saver
Sets the time after which the display will turn off. (the camera will still record though). It is possible to disable this option.
9. Frequency
Frequency settings of the camera: 50Hz/60Hz
10. Format
You can format the memory card in the camera. All files will be lost (including the protected ones).
11. Default settings
Sets the default settings of the device.

Buttons
Video Mode
▪We use the OK button to turn on/off the recording. Recording starts automatically, once the camera is powered on (provided there is a
memory card in the camcorder).
▪We use the MENU button to enter the current mode settings (only when the camera is not recording). Double pressing it (in every mode)
lets you enter the Main Menu. Pressing it during recording, prevents current video file from being deleted/overwritten.
▪We use the MODE button to navigate between different camera modes (only when the camera is not recording).
▪POWER button –single pressing it turns on/off the display.
▪UP button –long-pressing it turns on/off the microphone.
▪DOWN button –long-pressing it turns on the Wi-fi.

Playback Mode
▪We use the OK button to play a video file.
▪We use the UP and DOWN buttons to navigate between files.
▪We use the MENU button to enter the current mode settings. Double pressing it (in every mode) lets you enter the Main Menu.
▪We use the MODE button to navigate between different camera modes.
When playing a video:
▪We use the OK button to activate Play/Pause command.
▪The DOWN button reduces, and the UP button increases the volume of the recording.
▪Fast forward playback: press and hold the UP button. Depending on for how long you hold the button, the playback speed will be set to
x2, x4, or x8.

FAQ:
1) The device does not turn on, the display is blinking.
✓It is necessary to charge the device’s battery before the first use.
2) The device does not turn on,/turns off automatically.
✓The reason for this may be constant powering by the cigarette lighter socket.
3) The device reboots while driving.
✓Check the power source.
4) Loop recording does not work (the device records randomly).
✓Check the functions "Motion Detection" and "Park Mode". They both should be turned off while driving.
5) The device displays the message "memory card full"
✓Check the "G-sensor" and "Park Mode" sensitivity settings –both should be set at a minimum.
✓The memory card must be formatted in FAT32 format first on the PC and then on the recorder.
6) The device records the noise and distorted, indistinct sound:
✓The device has a very sensitive microphone, which records all the sounds from the environment. The sounds may overlap. Airflow
windscreen effectively distorts the sound too.
WARNING: Use only chargers with charging current up to 1A. (Do not connect directly to the 220 / 230V power outlet.)
Failure to follow these instructions could result in damage to the camera or, in extreme cases, to ignition.

The product comes with a 24-month manufacturer's warranty. The warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by the fault of the user, or
as a result of improper use (or misuse). The guarantee does not cover mechanical damage and caused as a result of the use of accessories other
than those included in the kit. The guarantee does not cover consumable items such as batteries, rechargeable batteries. The warranty on batteries

NOTICE
Playing files on a computer:
The camera does not have a mass storage mode. In order to play files on your computer, remove the memory card from the camera and
connect it to the computer via the card reader.

XBLITZ X5 CAMERA APPLICATION
1. Download and install the application named "Final Cam".
2. Turn on Wi-Fi in your camcorder - your camcorder will create an access point (network) that your smartphone connects to.
3. Run the app.
Main application screen:
In the upper left corner of the main screen is the access button for "Settings" and "About".
In the center of the home screen, a list of connected cameras is displayed (if no camera is connected, the message "Please click" + "Add
camera" is displayed.
At the bottom of the main screen there are (starting from the left): icon of the gallery of images / images, icon of return to the main screen
and icon "settings" - clicking on the last icon gives access to the following options: Storage Management, Language, and About.
4. To add a camera, press the "+" button in the upper right corner of the main application window.
5. From the available access points (network) select the one named „Toguard_....”, then at the top of the screen, in the field with the padlock
symbol, enter the password: the default password is 12345678 (it can be changed later in the application settings).
6. After entering the password press the "Add" button.
7. After a while, the connection will be made to the pre-selected access point and a live view from the camera will appear on the smartphone
screen.
8. Touch the smartphone screen anywhere to see the icons for controlling the camera.

9. On the left side of the screen, in the vertical layout, there are icons that controll the following functions (starting from the top): motion
detection, clock icon, WDR function, photo resolution, video resolution.
10. At the bottom of the screen, in the horizontal layout, there are icons that control the following functions (starting from the left): brightness
control, download recordings from the camera to phone memory, enable / disable recording, enable / disable audio recording, volume
control.
11. On the right side of the screen, in the vertical layout, there are icons that control the following functions (starting from the top): access to the
gallery of recordings, access to files downloaded from the camera, access to application settings.
Application settings - list of options:
Camera name: Toguard_.... (can be changed)
Camera pwd (password for camera): You can change the default password 12345678 here
Auto recording: enable / disable the auto recording feature
Video quality: Set the resolution of video recordings
Format (format memory card In the camcorder)
Advanced settings:
oG-Sensor sensitivity: Off / Low / Medium / High
oTV Mode: NTSC / PAL
oRecording file interval: Off / 3 min./5 min./10 min.
