Kurzanleitung FPV-Set Rocket 400 GPS
WARNUNG: aus rechtlichen Gründen muss immer eine Sichtverbindung zwischen Piloten und Qua-
drocopter bestehen, um eine Gefahrensituation oder Bildübertragungsausfall rechtzeitig zu erkennen und
unverzüglich reagieren zu können. Fliegen Sie daher unter keinen Umständen in nicht einsehbare Bereiche,
in denen Sie sich ausschließlich auf das Kamerabild verlassen - Absturzgefahr!
1. Einbau und Anschluss des 5.8 GHz-Senders am Rocket 400 GPS

2-poliger Stecker

Sender wie in der Abbildung gezeigt mit doppelseitigem
Klebeband auf der Unterseite des Quadrocopters befesti-
gen. Anschließend die Antenne fest anschrauben.
Das beiliegende Kabel am Sender und Quadrocopter einste-
cken. WARNUNG: Polarität beachten - Hitzeentwick-
lung und Brandgefahr!
Kamera vor dem Start einschalten. Beachte: im Kamera-
menü unter Einstellungen TV-Out aktivieren- siehe Abschnitt
Inbetriebnahme.
Den MicroUSB-Stecker des Kabels in die AV-Buchse der
Kamera stecken. Beachte: wird die Kamera nicht genutzt,
ausschalten und AV-Kabel abstecken.
Monitorhalterung wie in der Abbildung gezeigt am Sender
montieren. Anschließend Monitor mit der großen Schraube
am Halter befestigen (siehe Kreis).
Abschließend noch die Antennen des Monitors aufschrau-
ben.

2. Inbetriebnahme
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Kamera- und Monitorakku vollständig aufgeladen ist.
• Kamera einschalten. Im Kameramenü die Option „TV-Out“ aktivieren. Lesen Sie dazu die Anleitung der
Kamera. Vor dem Start auch alle anderen Einstellungen wie Videoauflösung, ggf. Bilddrehung usw. vor-
nehmen. Beachte: ist TV-Out aktiviert, wird der Kamerabildschirm abgeschaltet. Sie sehen das Bild nur
noch auf dem FPV-Monitor.
• MicroUSB-Kabel an der Kamera anstecken.
• Akku des Rocket 400 einlegen und anstecken. Die LED des 5.8 GHz Video-Senders leuchtet rot.
• Sender einschalten, anschließend FPV-Monitor durch Drücken der POWER-Taste einschalten.
• Viel Spaß beim Fliegen mit First-Person-View.
3. Frequenzeinstellung 5.8 Ghz Sender
Der Sender sowie Monitor arbeiten im 5.8 GHz-Band. Es stehen Ihnen 3 Bänder mit insgesamt 22 Kanälen
zur Verfügung, die über DIP-Schalter ausgewählt werden. Im Auslieferungszustand ist ein Kanal voreinge-
stellt, so dass Sie das Set sofort in Betrieb nehmen können. Sollte eine Frequenzänderung notwendig wer-
den, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

Akku mit dem mitgelieferten Steckernetzteil aufladen.
Während des Ladevorgangs leuchtet die Akku-LED rot.
Ist der Akku voll geladen, leuchtet sie blau. Die Ladezeit
beträgt ca. 90 Minuten.
Monitor einschalten, ggf. Sendersuchlauf SEARCH starten.

Anschließend am Monitor einen automatischen Sendersuchlauf durchführen, um die veränderte Frequenz
zu empfangen.

GROUP/+: Auswahl des Bandes A, B, D
CHANNEL/-: Auswahl des Kanals 1- 8
MENU: Verändern der Monitoreinstellungen. Verwenden Sie GROUP/+ bzw. CHANNEL/- um im Menü
zu navigieren.
SEARCH: automatischer Sendersuchlauf. Während der Sendersuche sind alle anderen Tasten deaktiviert.
SOURCE: Wechsel zwischen RFA und RFB bzw. AV-IN. Je nach Quelle leuchtet auch die LED RFA oder
RFB.
POWER: EIN/AUS-Schalter. Zum Ein- bzw. Ausschalten ca. 1 Sekunde gedrückt halten.

Install the monitor bracket at the transmitter as shown in the
figure. Fix the monitor with the large screw on the bracket
(see circle).
Finally screw the antennas to the monitor.

WARNING: For legal reasons, a line of sight between the pilot and Quadrocopter must always exist to
recognize a dangerous situation or loss of video signal in time and be able to react immediately. Therefore
never fly in blind areas in which you rely only to the camera view - crash hazard!
1. Installation of the 5.8 GHz transmitter at the Rocket 400 GPS
Secure the transmitter with double sided tape on the
underside of the Quadrocopter as shown in the picture.
Screw on antenna firmly.
Connect the included cable to the transmitter and the Qua-
drocopters plugs. WARNING: Observe polarity - heat
generation and fire hazard!
Insert the MicroUSB connector of the cable into the AV so-
cket on the camera. Note: when the camera is not used,
switch the camera off and unplug the AV cable.
Switch on the camera before you start. Note: activate the
TV-Out option in the camera menu - see chapter operation.

2. Operation
• Make sure that the camera and monitor battery is fully charged.
• Switch the camera on. Now activate the TV-Out option, refer to the manual of the camera. Make all other
settings such as video resolution, image rotation, etc. before the start.
• Connect the AV cable to the camera. Note: the camera screen will go off with activated TV-Out.
• Insert the flight battery and connect to the Rocket 400. The LED of the 5.8 GHz video transmitter lights
up red.
• Switch on the transmitter, then press the POWER button of the monitor to switch the monitor on.
• Have fun flying with first-person view.
3. Frequency selection 5.8 GHz transmitter
The transmitter and monitor operates in the 5.8 GHz band. There are 3 bands with a total of 22 channels
available, which are selected via DIP switch. At factory state, the channel is preset so that you can start im-
mediately. If a frequency change be necessary, proceed as follows:

Charge the battery only with the included charger. During
charge the battery LED lights red, when the battery is fully
cherged blue. Charging time is approx. 90 minutes.
Switch the monitor on and start the channel SEARCH.

MENU: Display adjustments. Use GROUP/+ or CHANNEL/- to navigate through the menu.
SEARCH: automatic channel search. During search all other butons are deactivated.
SOURCE: Change between RFA, RFB and AV-IN. Depending on the source the LED RFA or RFB lights.
POWER: ON/OFF switch. Press and hold for about 1 second to power the monitor.

Charging the monitor battery
WARNING: Charging may take place only with a suitable charger for the type of battery on a fireproof
surface and under constant adult supervision- risk of fire or explosion!
During charging, the battery LED lights red. When the battery is fully charged, it lights up in blue. The charging
