Troubleshooting
Video Loss
Video Loss appears where the camera
image should be displaying on my
Recorder
Check the Extension cable (power &
video) is connected to the camera
Check the video output from the
camera is securely connected to a video
input channel on the DVR
Check the power from the camera is
connected to the power adapter and
connected to a power supply and
switched on
Bright Spots at Night
When I view an image from the camera
at night I can only see a bright spot with
no image
This can be caused by a reflection from
the cameras built in infra-red LED’s
looking through a window. Re-position
the camera to the other side of the
window or to a different location
Can’t connect to my TV
The BNC extension cable will not
connect to my TV
Majority of TV’s do not have a BNC
connection. You will need to purchase
a BNC to RCA adapter (not included).
This will allow the camera to be
connected to a RCA input (Yellow
Socket) on the TV.
