使用上の制限について
本製品は、厚生労働省から提示されている「機械の包括的な安全
基準に関する指針」に基づいて人体の保護を目的とした安全装
置に使用されることを前提に、開発・設計・製造されておりま
す。十分にご理解をいただいた上でご使用ください。
また、上記以外の目的でも下記のような安全性が必要とされる用
途で使用する場合は、フェールセーフ設計、冗長設計および定期
点検の実施など、システム・機器全体の安全に配慮してください。
・輸送機器の直接制御（走行停止など）
・航空機
・宇宙機器
・原子力機器 など

●安全にお使いいただくために必ず定期点検を実施してください。
点検は本器だけでなく関連するすべての機器が正常に動作するこ
とを確認してください。
定期点検の頻度は、機器のタイプやスイッチの動作頻度によって
変わります。機械製作者、またはエンドユーザー様の責任におい
て定期点検の頻度を設定してください。

take note of the following points regarding safety.
RESTRICTIONS ON USE
This product has been developed, designed and manufactured for safety-
purpose application in accordance with “Guidelines for Comprehensive
Safety Standards of Machinery -Ministry of Health, Labour and Wel-
fare-”.
Accordingly, when used in applications outlined below, special care
should be taken to implement a fail-safe and/or redundant design con-
cept as well as a periodic maintenance program.
• Start/stop control devices for transportation and material handling
machines
• Aeronautical/aerospace machines
• Control devices for nuclear reactors

Safety precautions are for ensuring safe and correct use of this product,
and for preventing injury to the operator and other people or damage to
property. You must observe these safety precautions.
Be sure to read and understand the following descriptions before reading
this manual.

Disconnect all power before working on equipment.
Electric shock will result in death or serious injury.
• Please use this product within scope of application conditions such as
temperature, humidity, vibration, impact and pollution that are speci-
fied in the product specifications.
Otherwise, it may result in a malfunction
• When the mechanical failure of this switch occurs, please immediately
replace the main switch and all accessories with new ones.
• It is absolutely necessary to perform periodic inspection so as to make
the switch operate safely. Make sure to confirm the normal operations
of not only of this product but also other relevant devices.
The inspection cycle may vary depending on the switch type and the
operation frequency. Please set up the maintenance cycle under the
responsibility of machine manufacturer or end user judgments.
Danger is such a state when the mishandling
of this products may result in the death or seri-
ous injury to the user, and when the urgency
of warning is high and limited.
Cautions are indicated when mishandling this
product might result in minor injury to the user,
or only physical damage to this product.

The devices have been designed in compliance with the standards currently
in effect: IEC 60947, EN 292, EN 60204, EN 1088 to ensure the safety of
machine operators and operating reliability.
When correctly installed they can give a category 3 control circuit per EN 954
(2 redundant NC contacts) or a category 4 control circuit per EN 954 (if com-
bined with the safety module).

60947、EN292、EN60204、および EN1088 の各規格に従って設計

本製品が正しく設置されているとき、EN954 のカテゴリ 3（2NC 接
点による冗長性）、またはカテゴリ 4（安全モジュールなどの併用）
を得ることができます。

replaced by an LJS-E with an LJS-Z01 key without redrilling any attaching
holes.
