INTENDED USE
The blower is designed for blowing or vacuuming/mulching leaves and grass from paths,
driveways and other hard surfaces around the home. Any other use is deemed to be a case
of misuse.
The user/operator (not the manufacturer) will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind
caused as a result.
Note: This blower is designed for domestic use. It is not designed for or warranted for use in
commercial, trade or industrial applications.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Never allow children to use the blower.
2. Beware of overhead power lines.
3. Avoid operating while people, especially children, are nearby.
4. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery, which can be caught in moving parts.
5. Use of sturdy gloves, non-slip footwear, safety glasses and earmuffs are recommended.
6. Use extra care when handling fuels. They are ammable and the vapours are explosive.
PRODUCT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. The following points should be observed:
- Use only an approved fuel container.
- Never remove the fuel cap or add fuel with the engine running.
- Allow engine and exhaust components to cool down before refuelling.
- Do not smoke. - Never refuel indoors.
- Never store the blower or fuel container inside where there is an open ame, such
as near a water heater.
- If fuel is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine, move the blower/vac away from
the spillage before starting. - Always replace and securely tighten the fuel cap after
refuelling.
2. If the the blower starts making any unusual noise or vibration, shut off the engine and
allow the blower to stop. Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug and take
the following steps:
- Inspect for damage;
- Check for and tighten any loose parts;
- Have any damaged parts replaced repaired with parts having equivalent
specications.
Training
1. Read the instructions carefully. Get familiar with the controls and proper use of the
equipment.
2. Only use the product for the purpose for which it was designed, i.e. blower/vac. Any
other use can be hazardous causing damage to the blower.
3. Never allow children or people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the blower.
Local regulations may restrict the age of the operator.
4. Never use the product: - When people, especially children, or pets are nearby. - If the
operator has taken medicine or substances that can affect their ability to react and
concentrate.
5. Remember that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring
to other people or their property.

WARNING! Proper safety precautions must be observed. Like all power equipment
this blower must be handled carefully. DO NOT EXPOSE YOURSELF OR OTHERS TO
DANGER. Follow these general rules. Do not permit others to use this blower unless
they are trained in its operation.
WARNING! THIS BLOWER CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURIES. Read the instructions
carefully for the correct handling, preparation, maintenance, starting and stopping of
the blower. Be familiar with all controls and the proper use of the blower.
WHEN USING THE BLOWER
1. Stop the engine before:
- Cleaning or when clearing a blockage.
- Checking, carrying out maintenance or working on the blower.
- Adjusting the working position of the cutting device.
- Leaving the blower unattended.
2. Ensure that the blower is correctly located in a designated working position before
starting the engine.
3. While operating the blower always ensure that the operating position is safe and secure,
especially when using steps or a ladder.
4. To reduce re hazards keep the engine and silencer free of debris, leaves and excessive
lubricant.
5. Always ensure that all handles and guards are tted when using the blower. Never
attempt to use an incomplete blower or one tted with an unauthorised modication.
6. Always be aware of your surroundings and stay alert for possible hazards of which
you may not be aware due to the noise of the blower. Keep fuel in a suitable container
specially made for this purpose.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES FOR PETROL BLOWERS
WARNING! Dress appropriately
1. Do not operate with loose clothing or long hair. These can be sucked into the air intake
of the blower.
2. While blowing, always wear sturdy footwear and long trousers. Do not operate the
equipment with bare feet or open sandals.
3. Do not operate in a hazardous location. Such areas include where there is a risk of
explosion of fumes, leaking gas or explosive dust.
4. Do not operate in a conned area. Exhaust gases, smoke or fumes could reach
dangerous concentrations.
5. Protect your blower. This blower is NOT WEATHERPROOF and should not be exposed

to direct sunlight, high ambient temperature and damp, wet or high humidity conditions.
6. Do not smoke or use a mobile phone while refuelling. This is potentially dangerous as it
may ignite the fuel and cause an explosion.
7. Take care not to spill fuel. When refuelling the blower ensure that the motor has been
switched off. Prevent the spilling of fuel as this may also ignite with the hot motor. Never
refuel whilst the engine running.
8. Be careful where you store the blower. Store the blower in a dry area away from
ammable liquids.
9. Keep your distance. The blower emits exhaust fumes.
10. Ensure bystanders keep a safe distance.
11. Ensure you use fuel oil mix. Ensure that you mix 40 parts unleaded fuel to 1 part two
stroke oil. If not, the engine will overheat and cause damage to your blower.
12. Never ll fuel tank indoors.
13. Never ll fuel tank when engine is running or hot.
14. Stop the engine before re-fuelling.
15. Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire If the blower starts to vibrate
abnormally (nd and remove the cause of the vibration immediately).
16. Reduce the throttle before turning off the engine and turn the fuel off when you have
nished blowing.
17. The user is responsible for the safety of other people, animals and objects in the
working area. Keep people, children and domestic animals at a safe distance while the
blower is in use.

ASSEMBLING
BLOWER FUNCTION (FIG. C&D)
1. Remove the M5x10mm screw from the boss on the main body with a screw driver.
2. The upper blower tube baynets onto the main unit. Push and then turn the upper blower
tube until it locks in position.
3. Secure the upper blower tube with the M5 x 10mm screw.
4. Attach the lower bower tube the same way
VACUUM FUNCTION
WARNING! There is a shredder blade under the fan cover, wear protective gloves
and wait till the air blower vac is completely stopped before installing the vacuum air
tube.
1. Unscrew the screw and open the fan cover. (Fig. E)
2. Connect the vacuum air tube to the blower vac's opening under the fan cover. (Fig. F)
3. Connect the dust bag to the blower vac's blowing outlet. (Fig. G)

ADJUSTMENT
FUEL
USE FRESH UNLEADED FUEL (PETROL), 90 OCTANE OR BETTER – Do NOT use
E10 or Ethanol blends. Mix with a premium grade air cooled 2-Stroke oil at a ratio
of 40:1
Mix fuel with 2-stroke oil in an approved container. Shake gently and ensure a
thorough mix.
WARNING!: Never use raw fuel with out oil in your unit. This will cause
permanent engine damage and void the your warranty for that product.
Never use a fuel mixture that has been stored for over 90 days.
CAUTION!: The 2 stroke oil must be a premium grade oil for 2-cycle air
cooled engines and must be mixed at a 40:1 ratio with the fuel. Bynorm 2
Stroke engine oil is recommended. Mixing the fuel at a greater ratio than
40:1 provides insufcient lubrication and will cause engine damage and
voids your warranty.
FUELING
WARNING! Always shut off engine before fueling. Never add fuel to a
machine with a running or hot engine. Do not SMOKE! Failure to heed this
warning could result in serious personal injury.
WARNING! Always ensure there is adequate ventilation when handling fuel.
WARNING! Fuel is very ammable. Use extreme care when mixing, storing
or handling fuel or serious personal injury may result.
1. Place the blower upright on the ground or on a sturdy bench and wipe any
debris from around the fuel cap. (Fig. H)
2. Unscrew the fuel tank cap and pour the mixture into the tank using a funnel
(not supplied).
3. Be careful not to spill any mixture. If this happens, wipe the spill with a clean
rag.
4. Start the engine at least three metres away from the area where the fuel tank
has been lled up in order to reduce risk of re.

OPERATION
STARTING THE BLOWER
1. Set the ignition switch to the ON position "I". (Fig. I)
2. Repeatedly press the primer bulb until it is full of fuel. This is not required for a
warm engine.
3. If the engine is cold, move the choke lever upwards to the ON position. This is
not required for a warm engine. (Fig. J)
4. Place the machine on the ground, and hold the machine handle rmly with
your left hand.
5. Pull the starter cord slowly until you feel the starter engage then start the
blower by pulling the starter cord upward rapidly. If necessary, repeat this step
until engine starts.
6. Run the engine at idle speed until operating temperature is reached (2 ~ 3
minutes). As the engine warms, slowly open the choke by slowly pushing the
choke lever down to the OFF position "O". (Fig. I)
7. The blower should now be ready for use.
STOPPING THE BLOWER
1. Set the ignition switch to the off position "O".
USING THE BLOWER
WARNING! Never direct the blower discharge stream toward people or
animals. Always be aware of the strength and direction of stream.
Start the blower engine. Hold the blower rmly about 10-20 cm from the ground
and move it in a sweeping motion from left to right, directing the debris to the
desired location.
1. Use low throttle settings when clearing lightweight materials from around
lawns or shrubbery.
2. Use medium to higher throttle settings to move lightweight grass or leaves

from driveways or paths.
3. Use full throttle when moving heavy loads.
4. For ease of use the throttle hold lever on the handle can be engaged to hold
the current throttle position.
USING THE VACUUM
1. Install the vacuum air tube and dust bag as described in the "Installation"
section.
2. Turn on the engine to start vacuuming.
3. Empty the dust bag when it is full.
STARTING A FLOODED ENGINE
1. Disconnect the spark plug lead, and use the spark plug wrench to remove the
plug in a counterclockwise direction.
2. If the spark plug is fouled or is soaked with fuel, clean or replace the plug as
required.
3. Clean excess fuel form the combustion chamber by cranking the engine
several times while the spark is removed.
4. Install the spark plug and rmly tighten it with the spark plug wrench.
5. Repeat the starting procedures for “ warm engine”.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
BEFORE EACH USE:
1. Remove dirt and debris from the blower exterior.
2. Inspect the engine, tank and hoses for possible fuel leaks, and repair as
necessary.
3. Inspect the engine cooling ns for accumulations of dirt or debris , and clean
as necessary.
EVERY 10~15 HOURS OF USE
1. Loosen the air cleaner cover retaining screw, and remove the cover and lter
element.
2. Inspect the element. If the element is distorted or damaged, replace it with a
new one.
3. Wash the element in clean fuel, and squeeze or blow dry. Wash the air cleaner
cover in clean fuel, and wipe or blow dry.
4. Install the element and cover, and then tighten the cover retaining screw.
5. Use the spark plug wrench to remove the spark plug (turn counter-clockwise
to remove).
6. Clean and adjust the spark plug gap to 0.6-0.7 mm. Replace any damaged or
visibly worn plug with a Champion RCJ6Y, or equivalent.
7. Install the spark plug.
EVERY 50 HOURS OF USE
1. INSPECTION Inspect the entire blower and tubes for damage including loose
or missing components, and repair as necessary.
2. SPARK PLUG Replace the spark plug with a RCJ6Y gapped to (0.6-0.7) mm.
3. FUEL FILTER Use a wire hook to extract the fuel lter from inside the fuel tank,
and then remove and wash the lter element in clean fuel. Before reinstalling
the lter inspect the condition of the fuel line. If damage or deterioration is
noted the blower should be removed from service until it can be inspected by
a trained service technician.
STORAGE (30 DAYS OR LONGER)
1. CLEANING - Thoroughly clean the blower exterior.
2. INSPECTION - Inspect the entire blower and blade for damage.
3. FUEL - Drain the fuel tank and then clear the carburettor and lines by running

the blower until it stops from lack of fuel.
4. LUBRICATION - Remove the spark plug and then pour approximately a tea
spoon of 2 stroke oil into the cylinder through the spark plug hole. Before
reinstalling the spark plug, pull the recoil starter 2 or 3 times to distribute the
oil over the cylinder walls.
5. LUBRICATE the blade with oil to prevent rusting.
6. AIR CLEANER - Remove, clean and reinstall the lter element.
7. STORAGE - Store the blower in a clean, dry, dust-free environment.
DISPOSAL
At the end of the life of the product please recycle/dispose of the product
and any waste liquids in accordance to the regulations and requirements
of your local council.

WARRANTY
WARRANTY
This product is covered by a 1 year parts and labour warrant against manufacturing
defects.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure
and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You
are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of
acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This warranty will not apply:
(i) where this product has been subjected to misuse, abuse, accident or want of
care;
(ii) where this product has been used for a purpose for which it was not designed
or is not suited;
(iii) where the service of this product has been undertaken by a non-authorised
person or company or if non-approved parts have been used;
(iv) where this product has been used for industrial or commercial purposes .
Should service become necessary during the warranty period, the purchaser
should contact Action Spares on 1300 418 640.
In order to obtain warranty service, the purchaser must present the store receipt
showing the name of the retailer and the date of purchase.
The period of the warranty begins from the original date of purchase,
notwithstanding any subsequent repair or parts replacement.
Purchaser shall be responsible for all transport charges to and from the Authorised
Service Centre.
Damage in transit is not covered by this warranty. The purchaser should remove
from the product any liquids (if applicable) before sending the product for service
or repair. The product should be packed securely to prevent damage.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Wear parts or service related parts required when performing normal and regular
maintenance of this product are not covered by warranty unless it is found to be
defective by an Authorised Service Centre.
These include, but are not limited to:
Spark Plugs, Carburettor Adjustments, Lubricants, Engine Tune-ups, Filters.
