2.1 Connect your camera to power
supply
Please power on your camera, the IR LED lights red for about
30 seconds. And the Wi-Fi status light and wired network
status light blink red (the camera is power on normally).
Note: If your camera IR LED and network status lights don’t work,
please check the power. If it is not helpful, contact us.
2.2 Access to your camera
This section of the guide will provide the user with
information on how to setup access to the camera through
the following methods.

Method 1: Connect Wi-Fi over Ethernet Cable
For purposes of this guide, we will use Android, though both
apps have the similar interface. (The App Interface may differ
slightly from the screenshots below.)
(1) After connecting your camera to power supply, connect
it to router by Ethernet cable (the network port status lights blink
yellow and green).
(2) Please wait a minute until the wired network
status light blinks green (the camera is connected
to Ethernet successfully).
(3) Open MIPC App, login your MIPC account.
(As shown below)
Tap +on the top left corner of Device List page and
choose PTZ Cameras. Scan the QR Code on the bottom of your
camera or manually input device ID and password (default password:
admin), and then tap Add button, then change the camera default
password.

Then you can Configure Wi-Fi, tap “>” to choose your Wi-Fi,
then input your Wi-Fi password and tap Apply button.
Note: Please tap to check your Wi-Fi
password and make sure it is correct. If you cannot
find your Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi list is blank, please return
back to “Device List” page and try again.
If try again but still snot helpful, enter Settings
page> System> Restore to factory setting (choose
“Save network setting and password”).

Note: The camera can only support 2.4G frequency signal, and
802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi network.
(4) When the Wi-Fi status light blinks green, your camera
configures Wi-Fi successfully.
(5) Now your camera is connected to Wi-Fi and Ethernet, the
Wi-Fi Status Light and Wired Network Status Light will both
blink green.
Unplug the Ethernet cable, the status lights will both blink
red. Wait a minute, Wi-Fi Status Light blinks green again
(Wired Network Status Light still blinks red). Your camera is
connected to Wi-Fi successfully.
Note: Your camera will remember the Wi-Fi configuration. Next time,
unplug and plug the power again, it will automatically connect to
Wi-Fi in 1-2 minutes. The Wi-Fi Status Light blinks green.
Method 2: Connect Wi-Fi by sound waves
Note: We suggest you connect Wi-Fi over ethernet cable. If you try
this way, there is noise because your phone will send sound waves to
the camera.
Note: Make sure your phone and the camera are under the same
Network (Wi-Fi) for the first time.
(1) After connecting your camera to the power supply, open
MIPC App and login your MIPC account.
(2) Tap +on the top left corner of Device List page. Tap PTZ
Cameras. Scan the QR Code on the bottom of your camera (It
will automatic input your camera ID and default password) or
Manually input device ID, then tap Add button.

(3) Tap Wi-Fi connection icon. Following the APP prompts,
please one quick press the RESET button. Then check the
Wi-Fi Status Light, ensure that the Wi-Fi Status Light blinks
red and green alternately, Then Tap “Next” button.
(4) Your Wi-Fi will be searched and input your Wi-Fi
password. Then Tap “Next” button, your phone will send
sound waves to camera. Waiting 2-3 minutes, your camera is
connected to Wi-Fi successfully and your Wi-Fi status light
blinks green.

Note: If the Wi-Fi configuration fails, check the following: your Wi-Fi
is turned on and active; entered the correct Wi-Fi password; your Wi-
Fi is 2.4G frequency signal, and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi network. If it still
connect failed, try Method 1: Connect Wi-Fi over Ethernet cable.
You can change the camera default password and customize
camera name etc., or skip (you can still modify it in the
settings) and then you can find your camera in Device list
page. Go into the Live View page and experience it.
