This monitoris ahigh-performanceintelligentmulti-scanningcolormonitor.Itis with 15"TFTLCD
screenand MCUdigitalcontrolwithoutradiation and glary. Theshapeis tinyand thin adaptingto small
places, saveyourmore place.

Installingthe monitor
Pleaseconsider thefollowingadvice before you install yourmonitor
Position :Chooseaplacethatreflects less to placeyourmonitor. Generally,there is asuitableanglewith
window.
Highness :Thepeak ofthemonitorshould bealittlelower thanyoureyeswhenyou sit down.
2.1 Signalcableconnection
Plugoneconnectorofthesignalcableinto theVGA orDVIportand lockthetwo bolts to ensure firm
grounding. Then plugtheother oneinto themonitorand lock thetwo bolts.
Pleaserefer thechapter5about"Installingthetouch screen"in caseoftheUSBorRS232Cconnection.
2.2 Power cordconnection
Plugonesideofpower cord into theACadapter and theother sideinto ACpower source outlet, then
plugtheoutputsideofACadapter into thepowerportatthesideofmonitor.
2.3 Audio cableconnection (Optional)
Plugthestereocablebetween themonitorand yourPC.
2.4 Power on
Switch on thepower to both themonitorand yourcomputer. Afterthemonitoris power on, theLED
lights up green orblue.IftheLEDbecomes red orflashing, pleasecheck thevideo signalcable
connection. IftheLEDisoff, pleasepower switchslightly.
2.5 Selftestpattern
Ifthere is no horizontalorverticalsync.signal,yourmonitorwill displayFig.1 to indicateno signalinput.
After afew seconds, themonitorwill comeinto waitingand savingpower mode;ifthemonitorreceives
thevideo signal, it will return to thenormalmode.

2.6 Adjustthepicture
In order to obtain thebestvisualdisplay,you needadjustit, pleaserefer tochapter 3 "TheOperation of
themonitor".
2.7 OUT OFRANGE
When thevideo signalexceeds thefrequencyrangeofthemonitor, themonitorMCUwill stop horizontal
and verticalscanninginorder to protectthemonitor. Fig.2 will bedisplayed on thescreen. Afterafew
seconds, themonitorwill enter turn-off mode. You mustrestartthecomputer and resetthefrequency
range.

3.1 Power ON/OFF switch
This is aslighttouch digitalcontrolkey.Itis usedto turn themonitoron oroff
3.2 Power LEDindicator
When themonitoris working, thepower LEDisgreen orblue.Ifthemonitoris in savingpower mode,
thepower LEDwill bered offlashing.Ifyou turnoff thecomputer, thepower LEDwill beoff.
When theLEDis off, themonitoris off, butthepower adapter is on. In order to security,you should turn
off poweradapterwhileyou don'tusethemonitor.
3.3 OSDcontrolkeys
3.3.1 Power :Turn themonitoron oroff.
3.3.2 Menu :This keycan showthemenu and completetheconfirmation function.
3.3.3 AUTO:This keyis used to completeauto-adjustingfunction, it makethemonitorto bethebest
visualdisplaystatus in VGA mode.
3.3.4 / :Thesetwo keyswill completethenavigateup ordownand choosethecontrolofthe
menu function. Theadjustmentvaluecan besetby-/+key.

TouchScreen
YoungDisplayprovidesdriver software thatallowsyourtouch monitorto work withyourcomputer. Drivers
are located on theenclosed CD-ROM forthefollowingoperatingsystems:
Windows 98/Me/XP/2000/NT/VISTA
Linux/DOS
4.1 InstallingtheDriver Software(Windows XP,2000,VISTA, 7)
4.1.1 Doubleclick thefileof “Setup.exe”in thefolder ,
4.1.2 TheWindowswill flipDialogBoxasfollow.You canchoosetheportasRS232CorUSB asyour
needs. Ifyou wantto usetheRS232C, startto install this driver afterplugtheportbetweenmonitor
toyourPC.Choose “KeeTouch, RS232 Series, Serial”and openand chooseyourCOMportas
follow.

4.1.3 Ifyou wanttouseaUSBport,starttoinstall thisdriver after unplugtheUSBcablebetween
monitorand yourPC. Choose “KeeTouch, USBSeries, USB”as follow.

4.2 Calibration
4.2.1 Click attherightsideinthedowncorner oftheDesk-Top, thenchoose “Calibrate”inthepop-
outofthemenu as follow

4.2.3 Afterclickingthered dots on byone, thecalibration is completed.
4.3 Adjustsetting.
4.3.1 Click attherightsideinthedown corner oftheDesk-Top, thenchoose “Adjustsettings”inthe
pop-outofthemenu as follow

TOUCHMONITORSAFETY
This manualcontains information thatis importantforthepropersetup andmaintenance ofyourtouch
monitor. Beforesettingup and poweringon yournewtouch monitor, readthrough this manual, especially
Chapter 2 (Installation),and Chapter 3 (Operation).
1To reducetherisk ofelectricshock, followall safetynotices and neveropen thetouch monitorcase.
2Turn off theproductbefore cleaning.
3Thesocket-outletshall beinstalled near theequipmentand shall beeasilyaccessible.
4Theslots located on thesides and top ofthetouch monitorcaseare forventilation. Do notblock or
insertanythinginsidetheventilation slots.
5Itis importantthatyourtouch monitorremainsdry.Do notpourliquid into orontoyourtouch monitor.
Ifyourtouch monitorbecomes wetdo notattemptto repairit yourself.
Care and Handlingof Your Touchmonitor
Thefollowingtips will help keepyourtouch monitorfunctioningattheoptimallevel.
To avoid risk ofelectricshock, do notdisassemblethebrick supplyordisplayunit cabinet. Theunit is not
user serviceable. Remember to unplugthedisplayunit fromthepower outletbefore cleaning.
Do notusealcohol(methyl, ethylorisopropyl)oranystrongdissolvent. Do notusethinner orbenzene,
abrasivecleaners orcompressed air.
To clean thedisplayunitcabinet, useacloth lightlydampened with amild detergent.
Avoid gettingliquids insideyourtouch monitor. Ifliquid does getinside, haveaqualified service
technician check it beforeyou power it on again.
Do notwipethescreenwith acloth orspongethatcould scratch thesurface.
To clean thetouch screen, usewindoworglass cleaner. Putthecleaner on theragand wipethetouch
screen. Neverapplythecleaner directlyon thetouch screen.
