PLACEMENT OF THE VPS 100 PHONO STAGE
VPS-100 phono stage is designed to reduce interference fro external agnetic and
radio fields. Although place ent is not critical, any agnetic fields should be
avoided.
A solid and sturdy surface should be used as this phono stage has a substantial weight.
As it will generate so e heat, in order to achieve the best operating conditions, it is
strongly suggested that there is good air circulation around the phono stage.
CONNECTING CABLES
For best results it is reco ended to keep the input and output cables as short as
possible. Do not use longer cables than needed. For ore infor ation contact your
dealer or the factory.

CONNECTING TO THE MAINS OUTLET
Your phono stage has a description of the appropriate operation voltage on its back
panel. Please ake sure not to overlook the specifications. In case you need to operate
it in a region with no co plying voltage, contact your dealer or the factory. The
power cable that you will use ust be at least 3 x 1.5 square and grounded to the
ains outlet.
The on/off switch for the VPS-100 is located on the back panel.
This device is Class I and the following safety rules apply:

IN CASE OF FAULT
In case of fault never open device. Return to authorized technical agent or
anufacturer.
In case of part changing only the exact sa e parts should ever be used and replaced
by authorized staff or anufacturer. Otherwise this device is out of Guarantee and
will not be co pliant with international rules and regulations.
CONNECTING INPUT CABLES
Your VPS-100 has two RCA inputs on the back panel. Only connect signal fro
source.
Also on the back panel is the ground connector for connection of the turntable
grounding wire. This is achieved either by using a banana plug or by tightening the
wire in the grounding connector

CONNECTING OUTPUT CABLES
There are two types of output connectors on the back panel of the VPS-100.One is a
RCA connector and the other an XLR connector.
Only connect to pre-a plifier.
POWER SUPPLY
The VPS-100 has a power transfor er anufactured in house using special winding
techniques and exotic core aterials for low noise and pure, transparent sound.
The rectifier is a 6CA valve. Regulation and filtering is ade with high quality
capacitors and a big choke .
The lifeti e of the valves is specified at 5.000 hours. When the valve lifeti e passes
contact your dealer or the factory.
TUBE COMPLEMENT
The VPS-100 uses four C3g SIEMENS tubes. One atched pair in the first stage and
one atched pair in the second stage

STEP-UP TRANSFORMER
YPSILON ELECTRONICS provides step up transfor ers according to each
custo ers needs ensuring this way the best co patibility between turntable, cartridge
and phono stage.
There are 3 odels that cover the ajority of cartridge ranges. These odels are:
MC 5 (high output 1 V with 14 db gain), MC10 (0,5 V with 20 db gain), MC 20
(low output 0,3 V with 24 db gain).
For any other needs, step up transfor ers at various specifications can be ordered at
the factory or your dealer. Also double chassis can be ordered containing two varieties
of transfor er according to specific needs.
