tempoyou’vetappedin.ItisworthnotingthatthetapLEDdoes
notflashinsyncwiththeLFOratebutthetempo.
Thesubswitchallowsyoutocyclethrough5differentsub-
divisionsforthetaptempo.Theseareindicatedbythe5LEDs
abovethe‘sub’label.
Allparameters(includingthepatchselector!)canbecontrolled
withanexpressionpedalonaper-presetbasis,todothis:
1. Pluginanexpressionpedaltothe‘exp’input
2. Pressandholdthesubandengagefootswitchesfor3seconds,
thebypassLEDwillstartflashingred,youhavenowentered
assignmentmode(flashingredmeansthatnoparametershave
beenassignedyet)
3. Rotatethecontrolsyou’dliketoassigntotheexpressionpedal
forthatpreset.TheflashingbypassLEDwillchangefromredto
orangeoncethefirstparameterhasbeenassignedtoconfirmthe
changehasbeenrecognised
4. Toexitassignmentmode,pressandholdthesubfootswitch for
3seconds.ThebypassLEDwillstopflashingandreturntoit’s
normalstate
5. Tocleartheexpressionassignmentsforapreset,pressandhold
thesubfootswitchfor5seconds(fromoutsideofassignment
mode).TheflashingbypassLEDwillflashredtoconfirmthatthe
assignmentshavebeencleared.
ConnectingaMIDIcontrollertotheJuniperoviatheMIDIjackallows
youtoaccessawiderangeofadditionalfeaturesincludingstoring
upto128presets,externallycontrollinganyparameterandaccepting

andholdthepresetfootswitchfor3seconds.You’llseetheLED
jumpforwardtothenextnumberandthenjumpbackagain.This
indicatesthepresethasbeenstored.
Trueorbuferedbypasscanbeassignedperpreset.Tochangebypass
modes,pressandholdthebypassfootswitchfor3seconds.The
bypassLEDwillflashbrieflytoconfirmthechangehastakenplace.
Intruebypassmode,whenthepedalisoffthebypassLEDwillbeoff.
Inbufferedbypassmode,whenthepedalisoffthebypassLEDwillbe
