DDamaged appliancesmustnotbe installed.
DDo notusethe hob if the ceramicglass isdama-
ged:
-switch off the cooking zones,
-disconnect fromthe electricity supply.
DAspecialelectronically controlledsafety--switch--
off makes surethatall cooking zonesareswit-
chedoffautomaticallyafteradefinedtime,incase
therewill be no variation ofsettings.
Safetyforchildren

adultsonly.Do notallowchildren to playwiththe
productortamperwiththe controls.
DThishob isfitted withasafetydevice of the elec-
tronic control which preventsplaying children
fromturning the hob.
Safetyduring use
DThishob isintended fordomestic cooking only. It
isnotdesigned forcommercialorindustrial
purposes.

selfat the heating zones.
DDo notusethe cooking zonesto heat the room.
DTakecarewhen plugging electrical itemsinto
mains socketsnearthe hob.Connecting leads
mustnotcomeintoconnection withthe hot
surface orvessels.
DHotoils can igniteveryquickly.Do notleavethe
hob unattended when preparing foodsin pansof
oil,i.e. frying chips.

fetywiththe manipulation of the appliance,but to
the same extentitneeds carewhen setting coo-
king zones,outputorperiodsof time.
DAfterusemakesurethat the applianceis
switched off.
Safetywhencleaning
DEnsurethatall heating zonesareswitched off
whilecleaning the hob.
DForsafetyreasonsdonotcleantheappliancewith
asteamjetorhigh pressurecleaner.
Howtoavoid damaging yourappliance
DDo notusethe hob surface asaworking surface
orforstorage.
DDonotusethe cookingzoneswithemptypansor
withoutpans.This couldcause damage tothe
pansorthe hob.
DCeramicglassisinsensitivetotemperatureshock
and veryrobust, however,itisnotunbreakable.
Hardandsharpobjects,inparticular,candamage
the cooking surfaceif theyfall on it.
DDo notusecastiron potsorpanswith damaged
basesthatarerough orburred.Scratching may
occurwhen the lidsareslid.
DDo notplace anypanson the hob frame.Scrat-
ching mayoccurorthe paintdamaged.
DEnsurethatliquids containingacids,e.g.vinegar,
lemon limescaleremoving agentsdo notcome
intocontactwiththe hob frame,otherwisematt
spotswill appear.
DIfsugaroradishcontainingsugarcomesintocon-
tactwith a hotcooking zone and then melts,re-
movethe soiling immediatelywhilststill warm,
using a glass scraper.Ifitcools,damage tothe
surfacemayoccur.
DKeep all itemsand materialsthatmeltawayfrom
the ceramicglass surface,e.g.plastics,alumi-
niumfoil oroven foils.Ifsomething of thisnature
shouldmeltontothe ceramicglass surface,it
mustberemovedimmediatelyusinga glassscra-
per.
