Charging
The Zartek ZA-462 spot ight is portab e and rechargeab e
yet ightweight & bright with a ong operating time. Direct y
p ug in the mains or vehic e adaptor into the back socket
to charge.
Only charge with supplied 6V output mains or vehicle
adaptor.
A red LED indicates charging, green LED indicates fu y
charged.
Recharging is easy and safe as the battery cannot be overcharged. The charger
wi stop charging once fu .
This spot ight has a bui t-in Li-ion battery pack. A though the unit arrives partia y
charged from the factory, it must be fu y charged for 6 hours before first use.
This initia charge pre-conditions the battery for fu capacity. Fai ure to charge
may shorten the ife span of the battery. Once the ight gets dim, recharge the
battery immediate y as it cou d get damaged if eft very f at.

WARNING!
• Fu y charge the spot ight before storing for ong periods. Keep recharging
every few months or the battery may go fau ty.
• Do not recharge this spot ight with any other adaptors other than those
supp ied with the unit.
• Do not recharge the spot ight in the rain or wet conditions.
• Never attempt to recharge if the adaptor or wire is damaged or frayed
• Do not dispose of the spot ight in a fire or ordinary waste.
• Do not operate the spot ight in high temperature, hazardous or exp osive
environments.
• Do not subject the spot ight to strong impacts.
• Do not disassemb e or modify the spot ight as it contains protective devices
which, if damaged, may cause the battery to heat or ignite.
• Do not eave the spot ight in direct sun ight or hot spaces for extended
periods.
• Never short circuit, reverse po arity, disassemb e, damage or heat the
battery packs over 100°C. If an exp oded Li-ion battery does ignite, it wi
burn more vio ent y if it comes into contact with water or moisture. Never
put water on a burning Li-ion battery on y use a fire extinguisher.
• This spot ight is water-resistant on y and not rain or water proof. If the
spot ight gets very wet or submersed in water, immediate y dry the spot ight
and do not use for a few days. Water damage is usua y irreparab e.
Operation
Press the rubber trigger switch mu tip e times to togg e between ighting modes.
4 Modes of Operation:
High Beam (180 m, 2 hrs)
Medium Beam (4 hrs)
Strobe (5 hrs)
RED FLASHING WARNING LIGHT (more than 10 hrs)
Maximum beam distance: 200 meters
Quick Beam Off: When the ight is ON for 5 seconds or onger, press the switch
once to turn off.

The spot ight is designed for heavy duty use as it is equipped with a bright g obe,
rubber ens protector and ightweight hand e grip.
The Zartek ZA-462 spot ight is idea for security, outdoor, camping, fishing, night
game drives, mining, industria and genera use. LED g obes are shockproof and
never need rep acing. The casing is durab e and ightweight therefore easy to
carry and point wherever it is needed.
Maintenance
A batteries ose charge over time. It is recommended that the spot ight shou d
be fu y recharged every 2-3 months when not in use.
If the unit gets dirty, gent y c ean the outer surface of the casing with a soft c oth
moistened with a mi d so ution of water and detergent.
Store in a coo , dry p ace.
Shou d the batteries need rep acing after many years of service, p ease contact
the Zartek service department.
Warranty
This product is warranted by Zartek against manufacturing defects in materia s
and workmanship under norma use for a 12 month period from date of purchase
via our authorized appointed dea ers.
This product is to be used fu y at your own risk for its intended purpose. The
supp ier, manufacturer, distributor or se er ho d no accountabi ity or responsibi ity
whatsoever, in case of damage or harm caused from using this product.
