nicht sicher betrieben werden und kann eine Gefahr für Leib
und Leben der Benutzer und dritter Personen darstellen.
Abweichungen von den nachfolgenden Vorgaben können daher
sowohl zum Verlust der gesetzlichen Sachmängelhaftungs-
rechte führen als auch zu einer Haftung des Käufers für das
durch die Abweichung von den Vorgaben unsicher gewordene
Produkt.

transport, storage, mounting, operating conditions, start-up,
maintenance, repair, cleaning and disposal / recycling are not

both to the loss of the statutory material defect liability rights and
to the liability of the buyer for the product that has become uns

due to the deviation from the specifications.
 Montage, elektrischer Anschluss und nbetriebnahme nur
von ausgebildetem Fachpersonal vornehmen lassen. Halten
Sie sich an die anlagenbezogenen Bedingungen und
Vorgaben des Systemherstellers oder Anlagenbauers. m
Falle von Zuwiderhandlungen erlischt die Garantie auf
unsere Regelgeräte und Zubehörteile!
 Es ist grundsätzlich verboten, Arbeiten an unter Spannung
stehenden Teilen durchzuführen. Schutzart des geöffneten
Gerätes ist P00! Gefährliche Spannungen können direkt
berührt werden!

Während des Betriebes muß das Gerät geschlossen oder im
Schaltschrank eingebaut sein.
 Elektrische Ausrüstungen sind regelmäßig zu überprüfen:
Lose Verbindungen sind wieder zu befestigen, beschädigte
Leitungen oder Kabel sofort auszutauschen.
 Sicherungen dürfen nur ersetzt und nicht repariert oder
überbrückt werden.
 Größe der max. Vorsicherung beachten.
 Die Spannungsfreiheit ist mit einem zweipoligen
Spannungsprüfer festzustellen.
 Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für die in der
Auftragsbestätigung genannten Aufgaben bestimmt. Eine
andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung, wenn nicht
vertraglich vereinbart, gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für
hieraus resultierende Schäden haftet der Hersteller nicht.
Das Risiko trägt allein der Verwender.
 Installation, electrical connection and commissioning to be
carried out by trained service personnel only. The
specifications of the manufacturer or supplier, and
instructions relating to the equipment, should be rigidly
adhered to. Failure to comply with these conditions will
invalidate the guarantee on our controllers and accessories!
 It is strictly forbidden for work to be carried out on any
components while they are connected to live voltage. The
open equipment is protected to IP00. It is possible to come
into direct contact with dangerous voltages!
 During operation the equipment must be closed or installed in
a switching cabinet.
 Inspect electrical equipment periodically: retighten loose
connections- immediately replace damaged lines and cables.
 Fuses must be replaced and not repaired or bridged.
 Fuse values must be carefully noted.
 The safe isolation from the supply must be checked using a
t o-pole voltage detector.
 The equipment is to be used solely for the purposes specified
and confirmed in the order. Other uses which do not coincide
with, or which exceed those specified will be deemed
unauthorised unless contractually agreed. Damages resulting
from such unauthorised uses will not be the liability of the
manufacturer. The user will assume sole liability.

Transport, Lagerung
 Z EHL-ABEGG SE Geräte sind ab Werk für die jeweils
vereinbarte Transportart entsprechend verpackt.
 Transportieren Sie das Gerät originalverpackt.
 Bei Transport von Hand beachten Sie die zumutbaren
menschlichen Hebe- und Tragekräfte.

Achten Sie auf evtl. Beschädigung der Verpackung oder des
Gerätes.
 Lagern Sie es trocken und wettergeschützt in der
Originalverpackung oder schützen Sie es bis zur
endgültigen Montage vor Schmutz und Wettereinwirkung.
 Vermeiden Sie extreme Hitze- oder Kälteeinwirkung.
Transport, storage
 ZIEHL-ABEGG SE devices are suitably packed at the factory
to comply with the requirements of the mode of transport
agreed.
 The device must be transported in its original packaging.
 During manual handling the human lifting and carrying
restrictions must be observed and adhered to.
 Be alert to any damage to the packaging or the device.
 The device should be stored in its original packaging, in a dry
area protected from the weather, or it should be pro
tected from
dirt and the effects of weather until such time as it is
finally installed.
 Exposure to extreme heat or cold should be avoided.
Allgemeine Beschreibung
Der Sollwert ist am Drehknopf einstellbar. Der Einstellwert ist
auf einer Temperaturskala mit °C-Einteilung ablesbar.
 SRE1G: Der Thermostat schaltet eine oder mehrere
Lasten (z.B. Ventilatoren oder Heizungen) ein und aus.
 SRE5G: Der Thermostat dient in Verbindung mit transfor–
matorischen Steuergeräten zur temperaturabhängigen
Drehzahlverstellung von Ventilatoren. Dazu sind transfor–
matorische Steuergeräte mit Eingang für 5-Stufenthermo–
stat erforderlich.
General description
The desired value can be set with the knob. The value is
readable on a °C-scale.
 SRE1G: The thermostate switches one or more loads
(e.g. fans or heatings) on and off.
 SRE5G: The thermostate is used in combination with
transformer based controllers for temperature
dependent speed control of fans. Therefor are
transformer based speed controllers with a 5 step input
required.

Montage
 Nach Abnahme des Einstellknopfes und des Gehäuse-
oberteiles wird das Gerät ohne Verspannung an der
Wand befestigt.
 Schützen Sie das Gerät vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung!
 Der Thermostat ist so zu montieren, daß er die
durchschnittliche Raumtemperatur erfassen kann (Nähe
von Zu- oder Abluftkanälen meiden).
 Der Thermostat muß sämtliche Temperatureinflüsse im
Raum erfassen können. Er soll daher der Raumluftzirku-
lation ausgesetzt sein und nicht in „toten“ Ecken oder in
unmittelbarer Nähe von Heiz- und Kühlflächen oder
Fenstern montiert sein.
 Der Thermostat ist nur für den Anschluss an festverlegten
Leitungen bestimmt.
 Der Klemmbereich der Kabeleinführung ist für Leitungen
mit einem Außendurchmesser von 6-12mm geeignet.
 Die Anschlussklemmen sind für einen Leitungsquerschnitt
von max. 2,5mm² geeignet.
Installation
 After removing the knob and the top of the enclosure the
case can be mounted on a clean, solid base without warping.
 Care must be taken to avoid direct radiation from the sun
(solar radiation).
 Locate the thermostat to ensure that it can messure the
average temperature (avoid nearness to out- and input air
openings).
 The thermostat must messure all temperature influences in
the room. Therefor locate the controller to a place in the air
circulation. Avoid nearness to windows, heat- or cooling
areas.
 The thermostat has only be designed for connection to lines
laid fixed.
 The cable entry is for cables with an outer diameter of
6-12mm.
 The connection terminals are suitable for a cable cross-
section of max. 2.5mm².

befreit werden.
 Anschlussklemmen überprüfen und gegebenenfalls
nachziehen.
