Introduction
ZIGEN ZIG-18DA HDMI Distribution Amplifier with
3D Support
ZIGEN 1x8 HDMI distribution amplifiers allow users to split
any HDMI digital video with embedded audio source to 8
HD displays. ZIG-18DA will split the HDMI signal to 8
outputs without signal loss and maintain high resolution
up to 1080p/60Hz, 3D and 1920x1200 computer signals.
Features
HDCP compliant
Panel Link digital technology. Can be cascaded up to 8 layers
3D Function Support.
Full HD support: 1080p@24/60Hz, 3D.
Support high-resolution display up to UXGA, 480p, 480i, 720p,
1080i, 1080p, 1920x1200 deep colors up 12 bits.
Supports uncompressed PCM 2- Ch. Audio,
5.1, 7.1, DTS-HD, Dolby audio format.

Installation
1. Turn off the DVD player/TV receiver and monitors.
2. Connect the HDMI male extension cable between the
DVD player/TV receiver and the “HDMI In” port of
Distribution Amplifier.
3. Connect the HDMI male/female extension cables
between the monitors and the “HDMI Out” ports of
Distribution Amplifier.
4. Connect the power cord and turn on the Distribution
Amplifier.
5. Turn on the DVD player/TV receiver and monitors.
Note:
Have to install all TVs with the same resolution limits.
We suggest user connect TV from “HDMI Out 1”first.
Because Distribution Amplifier will simulate EDID from
“HDMI Out 1”.
We suggest users to connect source equipment to
Distribution Amplifier by ZIGEN manufactured cable for
best video quality.
Operation for cascade:
1. The function to display identical image on more monitors,
you have to attach another Distribution Amplifier.
2. Connect the HDMI male/female extension cable
between the first Distribution Amplifier of the “HDMI Out
1” port and the second Distribution Amplifier of the
“HDMI In” port.
Note:
Even though you are allowed to cascade the Distribution
Amplifier with varied ports, the image might become
unstable if cascaded more than 8 tiers of Distribution
Amplifier.

P.S.: The example cascades the 4 and 8 ports Distribution
Amplifier; however, you can cascade the HDMI Distribution
Amplifier with demanded port.
