1 Introduction
The RoomWatchis a great camera for use as a mobile or temporaryCCTV solution. Ina
commercialsetting you might use the RoomWatch to target specific problemareas such as tills,
stock rooms or areas prone to vandalism. The beautyofthe camera is that it has bothIR to give
some light at night as wellas a PIR movement detector so you can "activate"recording only when
necessary.
2 way audio gives the RoomWatch extra functionality, not only can you see and hear what is
happening on location you can actually talk back to site. This might be something soothing like
re-assuringyour child or pet or more sinister such as warningoff a shoplifter or prowler.
Setting up the RoomWatch is easy using your Zip DVR or NVR interface and once set up the
RoomWatch is a fully mobile unit that you can move to wherever suits you without having to
reprogramit.

Once setup is complete the RoomWatchcamera simply be moved about fromroomto roomso
you can change what you use it for as the need arises.

1. Go to Menu > Device List > Add >
RoomWatch
Allow access when Permissions Prompt is
shown
2. Scan the QR Code on the Base ofthe
RoomWatch

3. The camera should alreadyhave power
connected, if not then connect power now
4. Enter the Wi-Fi Connection Details
5. Select the RoomWatch camera that you
wish to add to your network
6. Enter Default Login for the Camera:-
username:admin
password:777777

7. Wait for the WiFi Connection to the
RoomWatch Camera
8. Enter newpassword for security ofthe
RoomWatch Camera
9. Once complete, connected willshow in

1. Plugthe RoomWatch RJ45 port witha network cable into a PoE switch
2. Using ZipFinder on a Windows Based PC/ Laptop Search and then Tick the SEE040
3. Select Net Mode :DCHP Then click Modify
4. Follow the steps for "Adding a device"on the ZipVision Pro App Manual:-

1. Plugthe 12V DC into the RoomWatch and the RJ45 port witha network cable into the router
2. In the menuof the Recorder, go to Video > Video > IP Channels

Different size SD Cards will provide different amounts of recording time, with the Encoding set to
the default settings on constant record, the approximate recording time you willget:-
The camera can be set to only record when triggered via Motion Detection, PIR or AlarmInputs
to get more recording time.
1. PowerOff the RoomWatch Camera,
then Insert the SD Card
2. Once inserted, Power On the camera
3. Select Remote Setting fromthe
ZipVision Pro App menu
4. Select the Camera in the list

1. Unscrew camera frommounting bracket and
mounting bracket frombase plate
2. The mountingbracket willnow separate into
two parts, base plate and cover.
3. Fix base plate to wallusing screws and raw
plugs supplied.
4. Screw mountingbracket to base plate.

10 Alarm Input / Output
Alarmsettings can allow trigger for recording or alarmout.
AlarmInput canbe selected to NO (Normally Open), NC (Normally Closed) or Off.
AlarmOutput (Common & Output) can switch a load up to 2A 30V DC.
11 Restoring Default Settings
Withthe RoomWatchCamera powered, Default the camera by holding the Reset Button for 10
Seconds.
The process Default process can take up to 3 Minutes.
