Product description
Ztove EZ2 is an intelligent cooktop that provides full control over the cooking process. The
system ensures precise control of the temperature in the pot or on the pan, which is achieved by
using wireless sensors in the cookware and advanced temperature feedback in the induction
cooktop.
Ztove consists of three parts:
1. Ztove two-zone cooktop (also called the "cooktop")
2. Ztove cookware, i.e. a saucepan with a lid and a pan with a lid (also called
"cookware")
3. Ztove the app on the user's iPad / tablet or smartphone (iOS and Android) (also called

WARNING! When using Ztove cooktop, the following should always be observed:
Do not immerse the Ztove cooktop in water. Use a damp cloth for cleaning and take care
not to allow water to enter the appliance through ventilation holes.
The cooktop must be placed on a heat-resistant, stable and horizontal surface so that it
does not tilt. The ventilation holes must not be covered. Provide space around the cooktop
to allow air to enter underneath.
The surface must be able to carry the weight of both cooktop, cookware and food.
9 / 20

Keep the cooktop dry. If the cooktop is cold so that dew is formed, allow it to reach room
temperature before connecting to mains socket.
Do not touch the cord or plug with hot objects.
If the cord or cooktop is damaged, unplug the power cord immediately and discontinue use
until the appliance is repaired by a qualified technician.
Ztove cookware
The bottom of the cookware contains a temperature sensor and the handle contains a lamp,
a battery and Bluetooth.
Meaning of the light/flash:
No light: the cookware is off
Blue flash: the cookware is on
Green flash: The cookware is
connected to the cooktop
Red flash: replace the battery
as soon as possible.
WARNING! When using Ztove cookware, the following should be observed:

Do not put the cookware in the oven, as high temperature can damage the battery which
can catch fire. If you have done this by mistake, make sure to vent thoroughly and contact
a professional or Ztove.
The cookware must not be used on cooktops other than Ztove. The electronics in the
cookware should not be exposed to extremely high heat. The Ztove app is therefore set so
that the temperature can not exceed 250°C.
10 / 20

Do not use metal utensils on the frypan as it may scratch the non-stick coating. Crystals of
salt is also very hard and can scratch if you "move it around" on the coating.
The cookware is not dishwasher safe as the handle it is not waterproof.
Ztove app
With the Ztove app you can set and maintain the temperature with
± 1°C accuracy when cooking or frying. The Ztove app can be used on
both smartphone and iPad/tablet (both iOS and Android).
Download the Ztove app:
Download the Ztove app through the Apple App Store (for iOS) or
Google Play (for Android). Or scan the QR code on the right:
There are ongoing updates to the Ztove app, which allows the screens in the app to deviate
from these instructions. In case of doubt, the information in the app should be followed.
Launching the Ztove app:
When launching the Ztove app, “News” appears, as well as a number of buttons at the
bottom, giving you quick access to the app's 5 screens:
"News" is your own personal page, with recipes and
statistics based on your use.
In addition, you can:
●login/create your Ztove user.
●get more detailed help on using your Ztove.
●write feedback to Ztove.
●read the latest news.
11 / 20

"Recipes" shows the official Ztove recipes and your own.
Each recipe may have one or more Ztove programs to help
with your cooking.
You can also make your own recipes and Ztove programs,
and if you like you can share them with other Ztove users.
“Control” provides overview and can be used to position /
move the pots, set the temperature, set a time, or start the
stopwatch.
In the upper part of the image you can "swipe" to the side
and thus switch between viewing the temperature, a graph,
or a temperature guide.
"Devices" shows cooktops and cookware that are
connected or ready to connect to the app. This is where
you connect new cookware or disconnect cookware you
don't want to use anymore.
The settings are kept, so you rarely need to use this screen.
"Settings" is used to set eg. language, power save mode,
and what screen to display at startup.
In addition, information about the version of the app and
other data is displayed.
If you need to reset to factory defaults, tap “Clear All
Settings”.
In the following, “Control” is described in more detail.
12 / 20

right now. There is a timer function to switch off the
cooking zone automatically. Press the plus sign to open
“place cookware”.
In the upper part of the screen you can swipe left and right to switch to other views:
Graph - data on temperature and energy consumption
The graph shows the energy supply and the
cooking temperature of the last 15 minutes.
Blue shows the temperature
Orange shows the power / watts (W)
At the bottom you can see the time at
which the measurement was made.
Recipes
Under "Recipe" you can find step-by-step guidance for dishes. The app
controls the process by setting the correct temperature and time
interval. New recipes will be added to the app in the future. Press the
green buttons to activate the individual steps and follow the
instructions.

Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING! Risk of damage to the appliance.
The electronics in the cookware are not completely waterproof and should therefore be

Replacing the cookware battery
In the app under the "devices" tab you can see the remaining capacity of the battery next to the
cookware (as a percentage).
If the lamp in the handle does not light when moving or the app indicates that the battery has
run out of power, it is replaced by the following procedure:
1) Use a coin to unlock the battery cover by turning left.
2) Turn the handle over, drop the battery into your hand and insert a new battery.
3) Insert the battery cover and screw to the right with the coin.
Note: When replacing the battery only use a CR2032 battery from a well known brand.
Using the cooktop without the Ztove app
It is possible to use the cooktop as any other induction cooktop (ie without the Ztove app). If
you wish to do so, please follow the instructions below:
WARNING! Risk of damage to the appliance.
If the Ztove app is not used, do not use the Ztove cookware on the cooktop. Use only

Troubleshooting
Problem
Solution
The Ztove cooktop shows 9 on the control
panel - why doesn’t the cookware get hot?
The temperature can only be controlled in the
Ztove app's "control" tab, where the slider is
used to set the desired temperature. It is not
possible to control the heat on the control
panel of the cooktop.
Why can’t I find my cookware in the overview?
If it is not possible to see the cookware in the
overview, it may be because the cookware is
not activated. The cookware must be tilted /
shaken lightly to be activated.
The cooktop display shows F / H and nothing
happens!
If the cookware is removed from the cooktop
for approx. 2-10 seconds, the cooktop will
display error message. (F). The error message
stops after a few seconds when the cookware
is placed on the zone.
‘F’ is showing?
If the cookware is removed from the cooktop
for approx. 2-10 seconds, the app will display
an error message in the form of an "F" on the
control page. The error message stops after a
few seconds when the cookware is placed on
the zone.
What do I do if the app, cooktop, or cookware
won't connect or work properly?
In case of errors, try to fix the problem by
switching off the cooktop control panel,
closing the app and starting over. If the error
has not been resolved, contact Ztove.
+ numbers are displayed in the control
panel display
In case of errors, try to fix the problem by
switching off the cooktop control panel,
closing the app and starting over.
Next, try unplugging the appliance and wait for
the cooktop to cool before reconnecting. If the
error has not been resolved, contact Ztove.
My cooktop hums / noises / whistles during
use?
When a cooking zone is switched on, it can
hum / noise / whistle. It is typical of induction
technology and it does not affect function or
durability.
