Overview
The SHD5110 is a Z-WaveTM enabled device which is fully compatible
with any Z-Wave enabled network. This Z-Wave dongle is an adapter
that enables you to access your Z-Wave network through a computer or
laptop. Plug it to your computer or laptop’s USB socket to turn it into a
wireless USB enabled platform. Then you can access your Z-Wave USB
devices within the distance of 10 meters.
Installation

On Windows XP
To Install Driver:

1. Insert the provided CD into disk drive. The InstallShield Wizard
screen appears. Click Next.
2. Click Finish to exit the Wizard.
3. Plug in the SHD5110 to the USB port of your computer. It should be
automatically recognized as a new hardware.

On Windows Vista and 7
To Install Driver:
1. Insert the provided CD into your disc drive, locate and double-click
the Setup.exe file under your disc drive.
2. Click Next.

3. Click Finish to exit the Wizard.
4. Plug in the SHD5110 to the USB port of your computer. It should be
automatically recognized as a new hardware.
Verifying the Driver Installation
You can verify the driver installation of your SHD5110 by launch Device
Manager. Follow the steps below to do so:
1. Right-click the My Computer icon on your desktop and select
Manage > Device Manager> Ports > SHD5110 USB-to-Serial
Comm Port.
2. Check the Device status to see if it is working properly.

Note: If there is a question or exclamation mark, it means the driver is not
properly installed. Please delete the item, unplug the SHD5110 and
repeat the steps in the Installation section.
