ZyXEL’s MWR222 is a rugged, carrier-independent, battery-powered, portable Wireless N router designed for
business travelers. It features dual USB and dual Ethernet ports to support fixed (ADSL/Cable) and mobile
broadband (3G)2access,with fail-over protection in between wired and wireless WAN to ensure a true always-on
broadband connection. Users can build an instant Wi-Fi hotspot to enjoy and share broadband with an unlimited
number of business associates whenever and wherever it’s needed. Most importantly, with its built-in recharge-
able battery, MWR222 can operate without an external power source, such as during power outage,or on the
road,for more than two hours3.
11n Compatible Wi-Fi Performance with Dual Fast Ethernet & Enterprise Security
With compatible 2.4GHz wireless N technology, MWR222 can deliver wireless connection rates up to 150 Mbps4
and is compatible with numerous 11n certified adapter. Unlike similar mobile Wi-Fi products, the MWR222 can
allow 10 or more computers to share its Internet connection, ideal for multiple business travelers requiring
connectivity without suffering multiple Internet access charges from hotels, etc. And the MWR222 provides
Enterprise-grade security including SPI firewall, DoS prevention, OpenDNS’ powerful antiPhising,anti-spam, and
dynamic content filtering functions.
Mobile Broadband Access Anywhere
The dual USB design allows the MWR to deliver more than just Internet sharing, and the flexibility to cover more
state-of-the-art new applications. Its USB port can be configured as a Mobile Broadband WAN interface by
connecting 3G modem (EVDO/HSPA), so you can enjoy mobile broadband access everywhere, unleashed from
wired lines in a single fixed location.And a data usage system sends an alert to the user via email when usage is
approaching the allowance.
