PRODUCT OVERVIEW GETTING STARTED
CHARGING YOUR TOOTHBRUSH
Your 30 Second Smile®toothbrush comes with an uncharged battery, and needs
to be charged for at least 12 hours before your first use.
Start by plugging the charger into a live electrical outlet. Charge your 30 Second
Smile®toothbrush by placing the unit onto the charger base with unit LED
induction light facing forward .(FIGURE 1)
Make sure the entire base of the toothbrush is seated inside the charging base.
Once properly placed, the battery charging LED light will illuminate.
A BLUE LIGHT indicates that the unit is charging. To keep the batteries fully charged
at all times, you may keep the unit in the charger when not in use. NOTE: As long
as the toothbrush is on its Charger Base and is plugged into a live outlet, the BLUE
LIGHT will remain lit.
Note – Bottom of handle will get slightly warm during charging. This is normal
operation and will not affect use of the unit.
Your 30 Second Smile®toothbrush can hold a charge for up to 1 week of use,
but it is recommended to place the toothbrush back onto the charging base after
each use.
The charging base is designed exclusively for the 30 Second Smile®toothbrush.
Do not attempt to force and fit other electronic toothbrushes onto the base.
Do not attempt to place your 30 Second Smile®toothbrush onto any other battery
charging base.

on by pressing the Power Button. Press once for

light will light up. One light indicates the unit is
on Speed I, two lights indicates the unit is on

BRUSHING INSTRUCTIONS
FOR ADULTS
For the first several weeks, use the RED ULTRA-Soft brush head at Speed 1. Use
Speed I by pressing the Power Button once. After your gums become accustomed to
your 30 Second Smile® toothbrush, you can switch to the BLUE Standard brush head
and adjust to Speed II by pressing the Power Button twice, which is even more
effective in plaque removal and gum stimulation.
FOR CHILDREN
It is recommended to use the KIDS RED ULTRA -Soft brush head at Speed I.
You may experience minor bleeding. This is normal, and is an indication that the 30
Second Smile®toothbrush is now brushing areas of the gums that were not reached
with other brushes.
Be sure brush head does not bump teeth. For proper use of brush see brushing
instructions on page 8. Children under the age of 5 should not use the 30 Second
Smile®toothbrush unsupuervised. The built-in 30 Second Smile®timer is
programmed to remind you to only brush 15 seconds on each side of the mouth for
perfectly clean teeth and gums.
REFER TO THESE FOLLOWING STEPS:
INSTALLING BRUSH HEADS

The brush handle has been ergonomically designed for ease of use. There
are two comfort grips where you place your index finger and thumb to
balance and maneuver the brush heads during use. You do not need to
grip the handle tightly as the brush will do all the work. You simply guide
the brush along the surface of the teeth.
Press the power button then bite into moving bristles with front teeth until
you feel the brush massaging the gums.
NOTE: DO NOT BITE TOO HARD.
Biting too hard might damage your brush. Allow your teeth to position the
brush, do not force it. All you have to do is “BITE & GUIDE”. Be sure the
brush heads do not bump teeth. See “Starting Position” to ensure proper
use.
The 30 Second Smile® toothbrush comes with a built-in timer function. When you
first start your 30 Second Smile®toothbrush, on any speed, the brush will run
for 15 seconds then will momentarily change speed to allow you to change to the
other side of your mouth. The momentary speed change will occur every
15 seconds. To stop the brush, push the switch button or simply place the handle
in the charging base.

start your 30 Second Smile® toothbrush, on any speed, the brush will run for
15 seconds, then will momentarily change speed to remind you to change to
the other half of your mouth.
