Connectthetrailing3.5mm audiojack fromtheLineCouplerto
theMicrophoneinput onyour PC, whichisusually pink.
Ifyoucomputerhasa single4-polemulti-purposejack,youwill
alsoneed tousethesupplied whiteTRRSsplittercable.
2. Checksystem readiness
Haveyoueverusedyour PCtorecordaudiobefore?
Beforeusing LineScope, ensurethattheaudiorecording
subsystem onyour computerisworkingproperly.
Ifyourunintoproblems, reviewthefollowing:
§Download thelatest audiodrivers
§Disablethird-partyaudioenhancements
Beforeblaming LineScope, test your
system with a different audiorecording
application.Werecommend Audacity,a
freewareaudioeditor.

3. Set therecordinglevel
OpenLineScope, starta recording, andclick onthe
MixericoninLineScopetolaunchthemixerapplet.
SelecttheMicrophoneasthe
recording source, andinitiallysetthe
recording levelhalfway.
Ifthereisan‘Advanced’ button, click
it, and thendisabletheAGCfeatureif
shown.
