InstallationSteps
ThisPCIAdapteroperateswithWindowsXP andWindows2000.
1. Turndownyourcomputer, assembly3ComPCIadapterwithyourcomputerthen connectPCIwith
Antenna connector.
2. Withthe computeron andWindowsrunning,inserttheInstallationCD intothe CD-ROMdrive.The
auto-startfeaturestartstheinstallation.If nothing happenswithinfiveseconds, click Start>Run
andtype d:\setup.exe (where d: isyourCD-ROMdrive).
3. Yourcomputergoesthroughabriefinstallation processduringwhichitdisplaysseveralwindows
indicatingwhat iscurrentlyinstalling.
Respond tothepromptsastheyappear.
nIfaWindowserrrormessage displays,select theoption tocontinue the installation.
nYoumayreceivepromptsforthe WindowsinstallationCD.Insertthe CDforyourWindows
operating systemandindicatethe correctpath.

Thisdevicemustnotbeco-locatedoroperatedinconjunction withanyotherantenna ortransmitter.
Thisdeviceisforindooruseonlywhenusingchannels36,40,44 or48inthe 5.15to5.25 GHzfrequencyrange
High powerradarsareallocatedasprimaryusersof the 5.15to5.35 GHz,5.47to5.725GHzand 5.725 to
5.85GHzbands.Theseradarstationscan causeinterferencewithand/ordamagethisdevice.
