Switch 4007 Users
The Switch 4007 is based on 3Com’s CoreBuilder®9000 technology and
supports the CoreBuilder 9000 components that are listed in Table 1.
The Quick Start Guides that are supplied with these product options only
describe installation and setup procedures for the CoreBuilder 9000. However,
you can install the components that are listed in Table 1 into a
Switch 4007 chassis as you would install them into the CoreBuilder 9000
7-slot chassis. For your safety, and to protect the product from damage, read
the warnings and follow all installation procedures.
Your Switch 4007 is preloaded with Release 3.0 software. To obtain online
release notes for this release and future releases, or obtain maintenance
releases and software upgrades for the Switch 4007, visit the 3Com Web site:
