CAUTION!Do notlocate sensitive high-gain equip-
ment such as preamplifiers or tape decks directly
above or below the unit . because this amplifier has
a high power density .it has a string magnetic field
which can induce hum into unshielded devices that
are located nearby . The field is strongest just above
and below the unit.
If an equipmentrack is used , we recommend locating
the amplifier ( s ) in the bottom of the rack and the
preamplifier or other sensitive equipment at the top.

FOUR CHANNEL POWER AMPLIFIERS

1 Introduction
AK800 amplifier has been designed using an advanced structural concept and qualified components
to meet the most demanding requirements in the sound amplification field.
The AK800 amplifier has four independent channels:
2. Operating Instructions
Before connecting the amplifier to the power socket, make certain that the voltage corresponds
with that indicated on the rear of the unit. (a tolerance of 10% is acceptable).
Before connecting the power cable to the mains, always make certain that it is not damaged and that
there are no bare wires, always connect the power cable to the amplifier before switching it on and only
remove the cable after switching it off.
3. Inputs
There's a XLR connector for each channel respectively on the back panel of AK800.
4. Outputs
Each channel has a NL4 connector and a binding post connector connected in parallel. Only
loudspeakers within the amplifier's declared power and impedance load range should be connected to
the amplifier's output. The red binding posts are considered as hot , connecting to the positive poles
of loudspeakers, the black binding posts connecting to the negative poles of loudspeakers.
5. Power Supply
Make sure power capacity of power outlet is correct. The AK800 amplifier power requirement is:
220V/AC, 12A FUSE.
6.Volume control
Do not attempt to service the products beyond that described in the manual. All other serviceable should be referred to
qualified service personnel.

7. LEDs.
The following is a description of all the AK800 protection:
1)PROTECT LED
Indicates that one of the various protections safeguarding the different sections of the
amplifier and the loudspeaker enclosure has tripped due to an operating fault.
In these cases, the power output is normally switched off until normal operating conditions
are restored.
2)CLIP LED
Indicates the presence of distortion as a result of excessive input level or too low output
impedance.
3)SIGNAL LED
Indicates signal presence for receptive channel.
4)ACTIVE LED
Indicates active status.
8. Protection Features
Each AK800 power amplifier incorporates several circuits to prevent itself and the
loudspeakers connected from short circuit, DC voltage, and overheating damage.
(1)Thermal Protection
In the event of malfunction, a sensor located on the power outputs is able to break the circuit
avoiding that current peaks reach the speakers and damage them.
(2)DC Protection:
(3)Turn ON/OFF Protection
(4)Short circuit protection
Trips in the event of a short-circuit or overload, limiting the output current.
9. Maintenance
Correct cooling for the amplifier is ensured by an internal fan, the speed of which is
controlled by a special sensor (the speed is proportional to output power and therefore
the temperature generated): remember never to block the air vents located on the sides
of the unit in any way.
Avoid exposing the amplifier to direct sunshine, high temperature environment, strong
heat, intense vibrations, very dusty or damp surroundings, or even worse, rain: which
will cause eventual malfunction, deterioration or even electric shocks and fires.
10 User Responsibility
Before connecting or operating your new AK800 amplifier, please study the
accompanying instruction manual carefully. Pay particular attention to the operating
precautions and wiring procedure.
