5815 Tee Module with Adapter Kit Installed
The 3M™ 5815-B Series Adapter Kit is designed for use
with the following 3M 5815 Series Modular Splicing
System kits:
• 5815-S Splicing Kit (2 adapter kits required)
• 5815-T Tap Splicing Kit
• 5815-E Equipment Kit
• 5815-D Dead End Kit
1.0 General
The 5815-B Series Adapter Kits are designed to adapt the
Modular Splicing System kits to the following common
industrial shielded power cables:

• Ground Braid Assembly
• Constant Force Spring
• Mastic Sealing Strips (2)
• Silicone Lubricant (2)

2.0 Installation
Install Adapter Kit components according to the
instructions packaged with the appropriate Modular
Splicing System Kit.

Note: The core material being removed from the Cold Shrink Tube is mixed polymers and can be recycled with other waste.
