CHARACTERISTICS
Peltor’s FL5000 adapter series offers the optimum adaptation of Peltor headsets to most
communication radios on the market.
Design
The adapter is enclosed in a functional, watertight, sturdy casing with no protruding parts. The
unit ts easily in your hand, but is also easy to wear attached to your clothing, without being
in the way or snagging on anything.
On the back of the adapter is a sturdy clamp (A), which can be twisted 360°, making the adapter
as convenient and exible as possible in all situations. The clamp is removable if you do not
need to secure the adapter. The adapter also has an attachment loop (B), which can be used
to secure it when not using the clamp.
PTT button (C)
The watertight PTT button (Push To Talk) is made of a special, soft plastic. It is located on the
front of the unit and is designed for easy access with the right or left hand, even with heavy
gloves. The PTT button has a pressure point that indicates the on and off positions.
Connector cord
The outgoing cord (D) has a contact for a communication radio or mobile telephone. The cord
has a exible, rugged reinforcement where it attaches to the adapter.
Headset contact
The adapter has a sturdy chassis jack (E) of Peltor’s standard type, J11, for connecting Peltor
headsets. The whole adapter, particularly the jack, is designed to prevent moisture from

penetrating to the electronics (sealed to IP65). The location of the jack facilitates plugging in
and unplugging the headset.
Note that the jack is at a 10° angle to the outgoing cord! (J)
IMPORTANT USER INFORMATION
• Do not store the adapter at temperatures in excess of +50°C
• The adapter is intended for continuous professional use at temperatures between -20°C
and +50°C
• Most chemical substances have little effect on the material. For use in extreme environments,
contact your dealer or Peltor for more information.
Instructions for use
• Connect the headset to the adapter and then connect the adapter to the com radio or
mobile phone.
• You can secure the adapter with the clamp or the loop.
• Switch on the com radio and adjust the volume to the desired level.
• Press the PTT button to transmit. Release when done.
• If necessary, use a switch (F) for external/internal PTT.

FL5212, FL5216, and FL5244
In EXT mode, the headset is connected and the microphone and speakers of the radio are
disconnected.
In INT mode, the radio is connected and the microphone and speakers of the headset are
disconnected.
FL5030, FL5230
The switch on adapter FL5030 is intended for switching the adapter on and off. The adapter is
on when the switch is in EXT mode. In INT mode, the radio works as it does when the PTT
button is not connected.
To use the radio’s built-in voice control (VOX):
1. Make sure that the radio is programmed for VOX. (Contact the radio’s dealer if you need help.)
2. Press and hold the PTT button, then switch on the radio. Keep the button pressed until a
tone from the radio indicates that the VOX circuit is activated.
Switching off VOX:
1. Switch off the radio.
2. Switch the radio on again without pressing the PTT button.
Note: While transmitting with VOX, you should hear your own voice in the headset. The VOX
function only works on channels programmed for VOX.

CARACTÉRISTIQUES
La gamme d’adaptateurs FL5000 offre une adaptation optimale des headsets Peltor à la plupart
des modèles de radiocom du marché.
Conception
L’adaptateur est intégré dans un boîtier fonctionnel, étanche et robuste sans déport. L’adaptateur,
dont la taille est adaptée à la main, est très facile à porter, à xer sur un vêtement, sans gêner
ou risquer de s’accrocher.
L’adaptateur, équipé au dos d’une pince de xation robuste (A) pouvant pivoter sur 360°,
peut être utilisé sans difculté dans toutes les situations. La pince peut être ôtée s’il n’est pas
nécessaire de xer l’adaptateur. L’adaptateur est également muni d’une boucle de xation (B)
qui peut être utilisée à la place de la pince.
Bouton pour parler (C)
Le bouton poussoir étanche (PTT – Push To Talk / PPP – Pousser Pour Parler) est fabriqué
dans un matériau plastique très souple. Situé sur le devant, il peut être aussi bien utilisé par
les droitiers que les gauchers et avec des gants épais. Le bouton pour parler a un point de
pression qui indique marche et arrêt.
Câble de raccordement
Le câble de sortie (D) est muni d’un connecteur pour raccordement à une radiocom ou un
téléphone. Le câble se raccorde au boîtier dans une décharge de exion souple et résistante.

Connecteur pour headset
Le boîtier est muni d’une prise châssis (E) résistant à l’usure de type standard Peltor J11 pour
raccordement à un headset Peltor. Tout l’adaptateur, et particulièrement la prise, est conçu de
telle façon qu’il empêche l’humidité de pénétrer dans l’électronique (classe d’étanchéité IP65). Le
positionnement de la prise facilite le branchement et le débranchement du headset.
Notez que la prise a un angle de 10° par rapport au câble sortant ! (J)
INFORMATIONS IMPORTANTES POUR L’UTILISATEUR

Utilisation
• Raccordez d’abord le headset à l’adaptateur, et celui-ci à la radiocom ou au téléphone.
• L’adaptateur peut être xé à l’aide de la pince ou de la boucle de xation.
• Mettez la radiocom sous tension et réglez le volume au niveau d’écoute désiré.
• Pour atteindre une compensation optimale du bruit le microphone du headset doit être
placé à 3–5 mm des lèvres.
• Appuyez sur la touche PTT en émission. Relâchez-la lorsque l’émission est terminée.
• Utilisez éventuellement un commutateur (F) pour PTT externe/interne.

FL5212, FL5216 et FL5244
En position EXT le headset est raccordé et le microphone et le haut-parleur de la radio sont
débranchés.
En position INT la radio est raccordée et le microphone et le haut-parleur du headset sont
débranchés.
FL5030, FL5230
Le commutateur de l’adaptateur FL5030 est prévu pour mises sous tension / hors tension de
l’adaptateur. Avec le commutateur en position EXT, l’adaptateur est raccordé. En position INT
la radio fonctionne comme lorsque le bouton pour parler n’est pas raccordé.
Utilisation de la commande par la voix (VOX) intégrée de la radio :
1. Vériez que la radio est programmée pour la fonction VOX. (Contactez le revendeur de
la radio si nécessaire.)
2. Maintenez le bouton PTTenfoncé, puis mettez la radio sous tension. Maintenez le bouton
enfoncé jusqu’à ce qu’un signal sonore indique que le circuit VOX est activé.

Coupure de la fonction VOX:
1. Coupez la radio.
2. Mettez de nouveau la radio sous tension sans appuyer sur le bouton PTT.
ATTENTION ! En émission avec VOX votre propre voix doit s’entendre dans les écouteurs
du headset. La fonction VOX fonctionne uniquement sur les canaux programmés pour VOX.

EIGENSCHAFTEN
Peltors Adapterserie FL5000 sorgt für die optimale Anpassung von Peltor-Headsets an die
meisten gängigen Funkgeräte auf dem Markt.
Design
Der Adapter hat ein funktionelles, dichtes und robustes Gehäuse ohne hervorstehende Teile.
Größe und Form des Adapters wurden so gewählt, dass er gut in der Hand liegt. Mit der stabilen
Befestigungsklammer (A) auf der Rückseite kann der Adapter an der Kleidung angebracht
werden. Die um 360° drehbare Klammer ermöglicht eine exible Befestigung des Adapters
in allen Positionen, ohne dass dieser im Wege ist oder sich irgendwo verhakt. Falls sie nicht
benötigt wird, kann die Befestigungsklammer entfernt werden. Außerdem ist der Adapter mit
einer Befestigungsöse (B) versehen, die zur Sicherung dienen kann, wenn die Klammer nicht
benutzt wird.
Sprechtaste (C)
Die dichte Steuertaste (PTT – Push-To-Talk) wird aus einem besonders weichen Kunststoff
hergestellt. Sie ist auf der Vorderseite angebracht und so geformt, dass sie sowohl mit der
rechten als auch mit der linken Hand und auch mit dicken Handschuhen bedient werden kann.
Die Taste hat einen Druckpunkt, der Ein- und Ausposition anzeigt.
Anschlusskabel
Das Anschlusskabel (D) des Adapters hat einen Stecker zum Anschluss an das jeweilige
Funkgerät oder Telefon. Das Kabel ist über eine biegsame und robuste Biegeentlastung an
das Adaptergehäuse angeschlossen.

Stecker für Headsets
Das Gehäuse hat eine stabile Rahmensteckdose (E) vom Typ Peltor Standard J11 zum
Anschluss von Peltor Headsets. Der ganze Adapter und besonders die Steckdose sind so
geformt, dass keine Feuchtigkeit in die empndliche Elektronik eindringen kann (Schutzklasse
IP65). Die Steckdose ist so platziert, dass sich der Anschlussstecker des Headsets schnell und
einfach einstecken und herausziehen lässt.
Bitte beachten, dass die Steckdose im Winkel von 10° zum Kabel geneigt ist! (J)
WICHTIGE ANWENDERINFORMATION
• Den Adapter nicht bei Temperaturen über +50 °C aufbewahren
• Der Adapter ist für die kontinuierliche professionelle Anwendung bei Temperaturen von -20 °C
bis +50 °C ausgelegt
• Das Material wird von den meisten chemischen Stoffen nur geringfügig beeinträchtigt. Zur
Anwendung unter extremen Bedingungen: wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler oder an Peltor
für weitere Informationen.
Anwendung
• Zuerst das Headset an den Adapter und dann den Adapter an das Funkgerät oder Telefon
anschließen.
• Der Adapter kann mit Hilfe der Befestigungsklammer befestigt oder an der Öse aufgehängt
werden.
• Das Funkgerät einschalten und die Lautstärke einstellen.
• Damit der Lärm optimal kompensiert werden kann, sollte sich das Mikrofon am Headset in
3–5 mm Abstand von den Lippen benden.
• Beim Senden die PTT-Taste drücken. Nach dem Senden die Taste loslassen.
• Eventuell den Umschalter (F) für externe/interne PTT-Funktion benutzen.

siehe Ex-Zertikat.
FL5212, FL5216 und FL5244
In Stellung EXT ist das Headset eingeschaltet; Mikrofon und Lautsprecher des Funkgeräts
sind ausgeschaltet.
In Stellung INT ist das Funkgerät eingeschaltet; Mikrofon und Lautsprecher des Headsets
sind ausgeschaltet.
FL5030, FL5230
Der Schalter am Adapter FL5030 ist zum Ein- und Ausschalten des Adapters bestimmt. Wenn
der Schalter in Stellung EXT steht, ist der Adapter eingeschaltet. In Stellung INT funktioniert
das Funkgerät so, wie wenn die Sprechtaste nicht angeschlossen ist.

Anwendung der eingebauten Sprachsteuerung des Funkgeräts (VOX):
1. Kontrollieren, ob das Funkgerät für VOX programmiert ist. (Falls Sie Hilfe brauchen,
wenden Sie sich bitte an den Händler, bei dem Sie das Funkgerät gekauft haben.)
2. Die PTT-Taste gedrückt halten und dann das Funkgerät einschalten. Die Taste gedrückt
halten, bis ein Tonsignal im Funkgerät anzeigt, dass der VOX-Kreis aktiviert ist.
Abschalten von VOX:
1. Das Funkgerät ausschalten.
2. Das Funkgerät wieder einschalten, ohne die PTT-Taste zu drücken.
Achtung! Beim Senden mit VOX soll Ihre eigene Stimme in den Hörern des Headsets zu
hören sein. Die VOX-Funktion funktioniert nur auf den Kanälen, die für VOX programmiert sind.

CARATTERISTICHE
Gli adattatori serie FL5000 Peltor permettono di applicare l’headset Peltor alla maggior parte
dei modelli di radio intercomunicanti disponibili sul mercato.
Design
L’adattatore è racchiuso in una scatola stagna, robusta e funzionale, e non presenta parti
sporgenti. La dimensione è adeguata alla dimensione della mano, inoltre è facile da indossare,
ssandolo ai vestiti. Non è di intralcio e non rischia di impigliarsi.
Sul retro, l’adattatore è dotato di una robusta graffa di ssaggio (A) che può essere ruotata di
360° per poter utilizzare l’adattatore in modo versatile e essibile in tutte le situazioni. La graffa
di ssaggio può essere rimossa se non occorre ssare l’adattatore. Per la massima sicurezza,
l’adattatore è anche dotato di un occhiello di ssaggio (B), particolarmente utile quando non
si utilizza la graffa di ssaggio.
Pulsante per parlare (C)
Il pulsante stagno (PTT – Push-To-Talk) è prodotto in un materiale plastico speciale morbido.
E’ posizionato sul lato anteriore e il suo design consente un utilizzo comodo sia ai destri che ai
mancini, anche se si indossano guanti robusti. Il pulsante per parlare presenta un interruttore
che indica se è attivato o disattivato.
Cavo di collegamento
Il cavo in uscita (D) è dotato di una spina per il collegamento a radio intercomunicante o telefono.
Il cavo si collega alla scatola ed è estremamente resistente alle essioni.

Spina per headset
La scatola è dotata di uno spinotto antiusura (E) del tipo standard Peltor J11 con messa a terra
per il collegamento all’headset Peltor. Tutto l’adattatore, in particolare lo spinotto, sono progettati
in modo da proteggere l’elettronica dall’umidità (classe di protezione IP65). La posizione dello
spinotto semplica il collegamento e lo scollegamento dell’headset.
Osservare che lo spinotto è angolato di 10° verso il cavo in uscita (J)!
INFORMAZIONI IMPORTANTI PER L’UTENTE
• Non conservare l’adattatore a temperature superiori a +50 °C.
• L’adattatore è destinato a un utilizzo professionale continuo a temperature comprese fra
–20 °C e +50 °C.
• Il materiale resiste alla maggior parte delle sostanze chimiche. In caso di utilizzo in ambienti
estremi, contattare il proprio rivenditore o Peltor per ulteriori informazioni.
Utilizzo
• Collegare innanzitutto l’headset all’adattatore, quindi l’adattatore alla radio intercomunicante o
al telefono.
• L’adattatore può essere ssato con una graffa di ssaggio o ancorato all’occhiello di ssaggio.
• Accendere la radio intercomunicante e impostare il volume sul livello desiderato.
• Per limitare al massimo il rumore, tenere il microfono dell’headset ad una distanza di circa 3–5
mm dalle labbra.
• Durante la trasmissione, tenere premuto il pulsante PTT. Rilasciarlo a trasmissione completata.
• Utilizzare l’eventuale commutatore (F) per PTT esterno/interno.
Vedere il Certicato Ex per i parametri di sicurezza elettrica per il collegamento ad altri
dispositivi Ex.
FL5212, FL5216 e FL5244
In posizione EXT, l’headset è attivato, mentre il microfono e l’altoparlante della radio sono
disattivati.
In posizione INT, la radio è attivata, mentre il microfono e l’altoparlante dell’headset sono
disattivati.
FL5030, FL5230
Il commutatore dell’adattatore FL5030 si utilizza per attivare e disattivare l’adattatore. Con il
commutatore in posizione EXT, l’adattatore è attivato. In posizione INT, la radio funziona come
se il pulsante per parlare fosse disattivato.
Utilizzo del comando vocale integrato alla radio (VOX):
1. Controllare che la radio sia programmata per VOX (per un’eventuale assistenza,
contattare il rivenditore della radio).

2. Tenendo premuto il pulsante PTT, accendere la radio. Tenere premuto il pulsante nché
un segnale acustico dalla radio indica l’attivazione del circuito VOX.
Disattivazione di VOX:
1. Spegnere la radio.
2. Accendere nuovamente la radio senza tenere premuto il pulsante PTT.
Nota – Durante la trasmissione con VOX, si deve sentire la propria voce nelle cufe per ascolto
dell’headset. La funzione VOX è attiva solo sui canali programmati per VOX.

KARAKTERISTIEKEN
Met de adapterserie FL5000 van Peltors kunnen de headsets van Peltor optimaal worden
gecombineerd met alle courante intercomradiomodellen van de markt.
Design
De adapter is opgesloten in een functionele, dichte en robuuste behuizing zonder
uitstekende delen. Qua formaat past hij in de hand, en hij is zo licht dat u hem aan de kleren
kunt vastklemmen zonder dat hij in de weg zit of ergens achter kan blijven haken.
Aan de achterkant van de adapter zit een stevige bevestigingsklem (A), met een
verdraaibaarheid van 360° voor maximale bewegingsvrijheid in welke situatie dan ook.
Wanneer u de adapter niet wilt vastzetten, kunt u de klem afkoppelen. De adapter is tevens
voorzien van een bevestigingsoog (B) waarmee u deze kunt verankeren wanneer de
bevestigingsklem niet wordt gebruikt.
Spraaktoets (C)
De waterdichte spraaktoets (PTT – Push-To-Talk) is vervaardigd uit speciaal zacht kunststof.
Deze zit aan de voorkant en is zo geconstrueerd dat hij door zowel rechts- als linkshandigen
kan worden gebruikt, ook met zware handschoenen. De spraaktoets heeft twee drukpunten
met aan/uit-indicatie.

Aansluitkabel
De uitgaande kabel (D) wordt via een connector op de intercomradio of telefoon
aangesloten. De kabel is via een buigzame en duurzame kabelmof op de behuizing
aangesloten.
Connector van de headset
De behuizing is voorzien van een slijtvaste chassis-jack (E) van het standardtype J11
van Peltor, waarop de headset van Peltor wordt aangesloten. De complete adapter, en
de jack in het bijzonder, is zodanig afgedicht dat geen vochtigheid kan doordringen tot de
elektronica (afdichtingsklasse IP65). De jack is zo geplaatst dat de headset moeiteloos wordt
aangesloten en ontkoppeld.
Let op! De jack zit onder een hoek van 10° ten opzichte van de uitgaande kabel! (J)
BELANGRIJKE GEBRUIKSINFORMATIE
• Bewaar de adapter nooit bij temperaturen boven +50 °C
• De adapter is bedoeld voor beroepsmatig continugebruik bij temperaturen tussen -20 °C
en +50 °C
• Het materiaal is nagenoeg ongevoelig voor de meeste chemische stoffen. Voor gebruik in
extreme omstandigheden kunt u bij uw dealer of bij Peltor nadere informatie opvragen.
Gebruik
• Sluit eerst de headset op de adapter aan, en vervolgens de adapter op de intercomradio
resp. telefoon.
• U kunt de adapter met de bevestigingsklem vastzetten of verankeren via het
bevestigingsoog.
• Zet de intercomradio aan en regel het volume op het gewenst luisterniveau.
• Voor een optimale geluidscompensatie dient u de microfoon van de headset op een
afstand van 3 – 5 mm van de lippen te houden.
• Houd tijdens het zenden de PTT-toets ingedrukt. Laat deze los wanneer u klaar bent met
zenden.
• Gebruik eventueel de schakelaar (F) voor externe/interne PTT.

FL5212, FL5216 en FL5244
In de stand EXT is de headset ingeschakeld terwijl de microfoon en de luispreker van de
intercomradio uitgeschakeld zijn.
In de stand INT is de intercomradio ingeschakeld terwijl de microfoon en de luidspreker van de
headset uitgeschakeld zijn.

FL5030, FL5230
De schakelaar van de adapter FL5030 is bedoeld voor het in- en uitschakelen van de
adapter. Met de schakelaar in de stand EXT is de adapter ingeschakeld. In de stand INT
werkt de intercom zoals wanneer de spraaktoets niet is ingedrukt.
Gebruik van de ingebouwde stemactivering (VOX):
1. Controleer of de intercomradio voor VOX is geprogrammeerd. (Neem eventueel
contact met de dealer van uw intercomradio voor assistentie.)
2. Houd de PTT-toets ingedrukt en zet vervolgens de intercomradio aan. Houd de toets
ingedrukt tot een toonsignaal van de intercomradio aangeeft dat het VOX-circuit
geactiveerd is.
VOX uitschakelen:
1. Zet de intercomradio af.
2. Zet de intercomradio weer aan zonder de PTT-toets in te drukken.
LET OP! Tijdens het zenden met VOX dient uw eigen stem in de oortelefoons van de
headsetet hoorbaar te zijn. De VOX-functie werkt alleen voor de kanalen die voor VOX zijn
geprogrammeerd.

WŁAŚCIWOŚCI
Adaptery Peltor serii FL5000 zapewniają optymalne dopasowanie zestawów nagłownych Peltor
do większości modeli radiotelefonów obecnych na rynku.
Konstrukcja
Adapter jest zamknięty w funkcjonalnej, szczelnej i mocnej obudowie, bez wystających czę-
ści. Wielkość jest dopasowana do ręki, ale obudowę wygodnie nosi się także na ubraniu – nie
przeszkadza i nie zaczepia się.
Adapter ma z tyłu mocny zacisk mocujący (A), który można obracać o 360°, aby zapewnić
jak największą elastyczność i łatwość użytkowania w każdej sytuacji. Jeśli adapter nie ma
być zamocowany na stałe, zacisk można zdjąć. Adapter jest także wyposażony w oczko mo-
cujące (B), które można wykorzystywać jako zabezpieczenie, kiedy zacisk nie jest używany.
Przycisk mowy (C)
Szczelny przycisk przełączający (PTT – Push-To-Talk) jest wykonany ze specjalnego, miękkiego
plastiku. Jest umieszczony z przodu i ma taki kształt, że mogą z niego korzystać zarówno
osoby praworęczne, jak i leworęczne, a także w grubych rękawicach. Przycisk ma wyraźnie
wyczuwalny punkt przełączenia, wskazujący stan włączenia i wyłączenia.
Kabel połączeniowy
Wychodzący przewód (D) jest wyposażony w złącze do odpowiedniego modelu radiotelefonu
lub telefonu. Przewód wchodzi do złącza przez elastyczny i mocny resor ochronny.

Złącze do zestawu nagłownego
Obudowa jest wyposażona w odporne na ścieranie gniazdo jack (E) standardowego typu Peltor
J11, przeznaczone do łączenia z zestawem nagłownym Peltor. Cały adapter, a szczególnie
gniazdo, ma konstrukcję chroniącą przed przenikaniem wilgoci do układów elektronicznych
(klasa szczelności IP65). Położenie gniazda ułatwia przyłączanie i odłączanie zestawu
nagłownego.
Zwróć uwagę, że gniazdo ustawione jest pod kątem 10° w stosunku do wychodzącego

WAŻNE INFORMACJE DLA UŻYTKOWNIKA
• Nie przechowuj adaptera w temperaturze powyżej +50 °C

Użytkowanie
• Najpierw podłącz zestaw nagłowny do adaptera, a następnie adapter do radiotelefonu
lub telefonu.
• Adapter można przymocować zaciskiem lub przywiązać wykorzystując oczko.
• Włącz radiotelefon i ustaw odpowiednio głośność.
• Aby uzyskać maksymalną kompensację zakłóceń, należy umieścić mikrofon w odległości
3 – 5 mm od ust.
• Wciśnij przycisk PTT podczas nadawania. Zwolnij go po zakończeniu nadawania.
• Można też używać przełącznika (F) zewnętrznego/wewnętrznego PTT.

trybie INT jest przyłączone radio, a mikrofon i głośnik radia są odłączone.
FL5030, FL5230
Przełącznik na adapterze FL5030 jest przeznaczony do jego włączania i wyłączania. Kiedy
przełącznik jest w położeniu EXT , adapter jest włączony. W trybie INT radio działa tak, jak-
by przycisk mowy nie był dołączony.
