2 Enter PIN code
When the Guardian is first started with a SIM-card, and
the PIN code is enabled, it will ask for a PIN code
with a sequence of audio signals. (PIN code is only
requested for the first start up)
Enter the pin code using the red button. Each digit
is entered by pressing the button the corresponding
number of times (1= 1 push, 5= 5 pushes and
0= 10 pushes). Each digit will be repeated from
Guardian before the next digit can be registered.
Please note: If you make a mistake, wait until you get
the same sequence of signals and start again.
Please note: If you enter the wrong PIN code three
times, and have to enter PUK code, we recommend
to insert the SIM card in your mobile phone to enter
the PUK-code.
3 Configuration
Before you start to configure your Guardian we
suggest that you register the telephone number and
serial number. (The telephone number is identified by
your SIM-card, and the serial number is located on a
label on the back side of your Guardian)

commands. Several commands may be sent as one
single SMS separated by spaces.

This command sets the “name” of the Guardian to
“Server room”, the minimum temperature limit to 18°C,
the maximum temperature limit to 26°C, the relative
humidity minimum limit to 10% and the relative humidity
maximum limit to 60%. Alarms will be sent to your
phone number. Please note that the ID requires double
quotation marks (“ “) if the string includes spaces.

Monitoring
It is important to connect the Gardian to the power supply you want to monitor. If you
experience power outage the Guardian will give you an alarm: Main power missing, temp,
hum, and active alarms. The Guardian is now operating on battery, and continues to monitor
your environment for several hours. When power is restored, you receive a new SMS: Main
Power OK, temp, hum, and active alarms. We recommend to change the battery every 2
years. You even receive an SMS when this time is reached.
