POPULAR SOFTWARE COMPATIBILITY
It’s easy to use Script with your favorite software. With universal compatibility, you can
start recording great audio right out of the box. Script works seamlessly with the apps
you already use including Garageband, iMovie, Zoom, Facetime, Skype, Audacity,
Logic Pro, and more. Just plug into your Mac or PC, choose Script as your audio input
in the software of your choice, and begin to capture broadcast-quality audio. Script
does not require any drivers, it’s that simple.

POLAR PATTERNS
Script’s unique dual-capsule design gives you the flexibility to choose the right pickup
pattern in any scenario.
CARDIOID
Recommended for recording podcasts, live-streaming, singing, and voiceovers. The
cardioid pickup pattern records sounds that are directly in front of the microphone and
rejects ambient noise around you.
OMNIDIRECTIONAL
Ideal for multi-person podcasts, a group conference call, or when you want to capture
the ambience of a live performance. The omnidirectional pickup pattern captures sound
from all around the mic, ideal for multi-person content or calls.

EN | 11
SIDE ADDRESS
Script is a side-address microphone – in cardioid mode, sound is captured from the
front, so you should speak or sing facing the 512 Audio logo and volume knob. When
in omni mode, Script captures sound from all directions. If you are in a conference room
with multiple people, it may be best to place the microphone in the center so all your
participants are captured at a relatively equal volume.
