Pressing theTestButtonwill activate testmode, trig-
gering boththeRelayand theBuzzer. TheHM-MINI-
12Vsmokedetector shouldbetested everymonth.
Thesmokedetector sounder will automaticallyreset,
whenall thesmokehascleared.
Thealarmsystem soundersmayneed to be
deactivated fromthecontrol keypad.
Hushfeature. Whenthesmokedetector hasbeen
activated, pressing thetestbuttonfor 1second, will
silencethat smokedetectors sounder. This will not
hushthecontrollers, sounders or other smokedetec-
tors connected.
Whenusing any aerosolsmokedetector tester, please
followall instructions provided onthecan.

evenifthesystem is disarmed. Also thesirens will pulseOnand Offmaking adifferent
sound to anormal burglaralarm. Theuser will haveto clear thealarmwiththeirnormal
alarmcode.
