broadcasting standards

that it is used in accordance with the recommendations set forward in the
chapter concerning safety.

Caution: Hot surface. Do not touch. The top surface over the internal heat
sink may become hot when operating this product continuously.
Do not touch hot areas, especially around the ‘Hot surface mark’ and the top
panel.
When this logo is attached to a product, it means a financial contribution has
been paid to the associated national recovery and recycling system.
To avoid electric-shock hazards, do not open the housing, refer servicing to
qualified personnel only.
Do not expose the receiver to direct sunlight. Keep it away from the heat
source.
When the abnormal phenomenon occurs, you should cut off the power supply
immediately
Switch the receiver off whenever it remains out of service for an extended
period.
Keep the receiver away from flower vases, tubs, sinks, etc., in order to avoid
damaging the equipment.
Do not block ventilation holes of the receiver so air can circulate freely.
Do not touch the receiver during thunder, since that might create electric-
shock hazards.
It is recommended to cut off power supply.
Be sure to turn the receiver off and disconnect the AC power cord before
cleaning the receiver surface. If the surface is dirty,
wipe clean with a wetted cloth and wrung out thoroughly, then wipe again with
a dry cloth

Rear panel
1. Satellite/Terrestrial /Cable Antenna Connection
Connect the cable from Sattelite/Terrestrial/Cable signal
* This device is available in two variants:
with 2x DVB-S2X tuner or 1x DVB-S2X tuner and DVB-C / T2 tuner
2. USB 3.0 / 2.0 port
To support USB 2.0 device like USB Stick, HDD Camera etc.
3. AV Receiver Connection
Use an AV receiver for better audio quality. Connect the receiver’s SPDIF connector to the AV receiver’s
digital audio input connector using an optical audio cable.
4. HDMI Connection
Connect the receiver’s HDMI output connectors to the TV’s HDMI input connector using an HDMI cable.
5. Network Connection
Connect the receiver LAN port to the router using a network cable. For details, please refer to the Network
Settings on.
6. Power Up
A power cord with an adapter is provided in an accessory.
Plug the round end of the adapter power cord into the power input.

Remote Controller (RCU)
Programmable Remote part
How to program for TV RCU button (Example : Power button) :
1. Press “TV” key for 5 seconds
2. The light will be turn on and enter the learning mode.
3. Press “TV” key in 10 seconds the light flash.
4. Keep TV remote IR and STB remote IR face to face in 3~5cm,
Press “Power” key on TV remote, the light flashes 3 times and
keep lighting
5. Press any key except the “TV” key to exit the learning status
STB part
1. POWER : To control STB power.
2. Mouse : Change Mouse mode.
3. Apps: To call Android App list
4. Resolution : Change resolution of 720p,1080i,1080p,2160p.
5. Resolution : Change Ratio of 4:3, 16:9
6. Color buttons : to use specific function in App. E.g. in Live TV app yellow
button- Subtitle/Teletext, green button-Sound, red button-Popup Menu
7. Next/Previous file : Move to next or previous file.
8. Stop : Stop to play/record Media
9. Mute : Sound Mute
10. Rewind : Rewind Media
11. Play/Pause : Pause/Play Media
12. Fast Forward : To move Fast forward
13. TV Guide : Electrical program Guide
14. INFO(i) : Information for TV channel

First start
This document explains how to install the latest software and initial usage after purchasing the product.
We have taken screenshots in English in consider ration of the global character of this manual, and the
captured pictures may be different from the personal environment.
After purchasing the product, connect the TV and AB IPBOX box with the HDMI cable, connect the DC power
adapter to turn on the power.
When you turn on the AB IPBOX box, the following screen appears.
