1 MAX Versand – Vom Kunden zu ACD
1.1 MAX zum Versand vorbereiten
Wenn der Mobile Arbeitsplatz MAX an ACD versendet wird (z. B. zur Reparatur), muss dieser entsprechend
vorbereitet werden:
Anbaugeräte und Aufbauten sind zu entfernen (Bildschirme, Drucker….)
MAX am Ein-/Ausschalter an der Vorderseite der Batterieabdeckung ausschalten (siehe Abb. 1)
Den Batteriestecker an der Rückseite ausstecken (siehe Abb. 2)

1.2 Transporthinweise zum MAX Li-Ionen
Die Lithium-Ionen-Batterie ist in der Originalverpackung bzw. einer entsprechenden Verpackung in
aufrechter Position zu transportieren. Heben Sie die Lithium-Ionen-Batterie niemals an den beiden
Anschlusskabeln sondern immer nur an den seitlichen Griffen an.
Die Batterie ist gemäß dem UN-Handbuch über Prüfungen und Kriterien, Teil III, Unterabschnitt 38.3
(ST/SG/AC.10/11 Fassung 5) geprüft.
Für den Transport als Einzelbatterie gehört die Batterie zur Kategorie UN3480, Klasse 9,
Verpackungsgruppe II und beim Transport müssen diese Regelungen eingehalten werden.
Falls der komplette Mobile Arbeitsplatz MAX versendet wird, gehört der Mobile Arbeitsplatz MAX mit
eingebauter Lithium-Ionen-Batterie zur Kategorie UN3481 und beim Transport müssen diese
Regelungen eingehalten werden.
Das Versandstück ist in beiden Fällen von außen gut sichtbar mit einem Gefahrgutaufkleber 100 x
100 mm für Lithium-Ionen-Batterien Klasse 9 zu versehen.

Bitte drucken Sie das Transportgutachten von Kapitel 1.4 aus und legen Sie dieses den
Versandpapieren bei.
Der Gefahrgutaufkleber Klasse 9 (siehe Abbildung 3) ist von außen gut sichtbar an das Versandstück
anzubringen (siehe auch Kapitel 1.5)

1.3 MAX verpacken
Im Folgenden wird eine Verpackung aufgezeigt, wie diese bei der ACD Elektronik GmbH zum Versand
eingesetzt wird.
Wenn vorhanden, bitte die Originalverpackung verwenden.
Zum Heben des MAX eine Hebevorrichtung nehmen.
Achtung: Den Griff der oberen Arbeitsplatte nicht zum Heben verwenden. Bei Verwendung
eines Hubstaplers nicht die Räder beschädigen.
Den Mobilen Arbeitsplatz MAX aufrecht auf eine geeignete Palette stellen.
Die ACD verwendet das Maß 700 mm x 650 mm oder eine geschlossene Euro-Palette mit den
Maßen 1200 mm x 800 mm.
Diverse Anbauteile dürfen nicht über die Palette hinausragen.
Unter den MAX eine Erhöhung aus Pappe oder Holz stellen, Maße 350 x 300 x 180 mm (L x B x H).
Mit einer Folie den MAX abdecken. Die obere Arbeitsplatte mit Dämmmaterial oder Karton
abdecken. Achtung: Die obere Arbeitsplatte darf beim Transport nicht belastet werden!
Den MAX mit Spannbändern auf der Palette sichern.

2 MAX shipping – from the customer to ACD
2.1 Preparations for MAX shipping
If the MAX mobile workstation is being sent to ACD (for example to be repaired), it must be prepared
appropriately:
Remove attachable devices (screens, printers, etc.)
Turn off the MAX with the On/Off switch on the front of the battery cover (see Fig. 9)
Remove the battery connector from the back (see Fig. 10)

2.2 Transport instructions for the MAX Li-Ion
Transport the lithium-ion battery in the original packaging or comparable packaging in an upright
position. Never lift the lithium-ion battery by the two connecting cables. Always use the side handles
only.
The battery is inspected in accordance with the UN manual of inspections and criteria, part III,
subsection 38.3 (ST/SG/AC.10/11 version 5).
For transport as a single battery, the battery belongs to category UN3480, class 9, packaging group
II. These regulations must be observed during transport.
If the complete MAX mobile workstation is being sent, the MAX mobile workstation together with the
installed lithium-ion battery belongs to category UN3481 and the corresponding regulations must be
observed during transport.
In both cases a hazardous goods sticker 100 x 100 mm for lithium-ion batteries class 9 must be
affixed to the package on the outside so it is clearly visible.

Please print out the transport goods report in section 2.4 and enclose it with the shipping papers.
The hazardous goods sticker class 9 (see figure 11) must be affixed to the shipping item so it is
clearly visible on the outside (see also section 2.5)

2.3 Packaging the MAX
The packaging process described below is the same as ACD Elektronik GmbH uses for shipping.
If the original packaging is on hand, please use it.
Use a lifting device to raise the MAX.
Attention: Do not use the handle of the upper work surface to raise the MAX. If you are using
a forklift truck, do not damage the wheels.
Stand the MAX mobile workstation upright on a suitable pallet.
ACD uses the dimensions 700 mm x 650 mm or a closed Euro pallet with the dimensions 1200 mm x
800 mm.
Various attachment parts must not extend out beyond the pallet.
Place cardboard or wood under the MAX to raise it, dimensions 350 x 300 x 180 mm (L x W x H).
Cover the MAX with a foil sheet. Cover the upper work surface with insulating material or cardboard.
Attention: There must not be any load on the upper work surface during transport!
Secure the MAX on the pallet with tightening straps.
