I DON'T SEE ANY CHARACTERS
If you are having trouble waking your Leap up, try removing it from the cradle and then
replacing it.
If it has been fully charged or still has power, you can tap and hold the screen of your
Leap. Then it will be waked up.
If your Leap is awake (screen is lit up) but you don't see a code, try swiping the screen. If
you see icons and/or activity stats but not a code, you will need to factory reset your
Leap.
oTo factory reset your Leap swipe to the "apps" screen. Tap to enter the Leap
Manager carousel. Tap on the settings icon (looks like a gear). Swipe until you
see 'factory reset,' tap on that and again on 'confirm.'
Enter the code that you see and press done. The Leap Manager will try to connect with your
Leap. If you are having trouble completing the sync process, you can try tapping or swiping the
screen to keep your Leap awake.
MY LEAP WON'T LIGHT UP
Fresh out of the box? That's a bummer. Sometimes our Leap gets so excited, sitting on the
shelf, waiting to be bought, it runs out of juice. It will need a long rest in the charging cradle
before it can perk up again. In most cases, you would see it light up again after you put the
Leap into the cradle and plug in the USB to charge for a while (less than 10 mins).
Plugged in but still no lights? Don't give up yet! Give it a little poke in the cradle reset button
with a paperclip (be sure that your Leap is plugged into a power source during this). Don't use
a thumbtack though! Our devices don't respond well to sharp objects.
You might have a bum USB cord –you can check this by plugging the cord into any other
devices you have lying around that use micro USB (think e-readers or certain phones).
Still nothing? Ok, you tried. Now it's our turn to give CPR. Please take your Leap and warranty
card to the store or service center
MY LEAP WON'T PAIR

First, please make sure the Bluetooth of your smartphone or tablet has been enabled. You can
switch on the Bluetooth of your smart device from its settings. If you just enable the Bluetooth
now, please try to remove your Leap Manager from "recent apps" and then launch it again.
If the Leap Manager says it cannot find your Leap, please go to your smartphone or tablet's
settings–> Bluetooth –> do you see under the list 'Devices,' a 19-digit device starting with the
letter 'H'? If it says 'connected,' tap on the blue 'i' and select 'forget this device.' Go back to the
Acer Leap Manager and try again.
HOW DO I REMOVE THE LEAP FROM MY ACCOUNT?
Tap on the Leap tile from the Leap Manager home screen.
This will take you to the info screen. Scroll all the way down the page and you will see a
"remove device" button. Tap on that to unpair your Leap.
Once you unpair your Leap your home screen will no longer display the Leap tile or the Sleep
chart tile.
In order to pair another device you will need to go to the slide-out menu (three lines) and select
"pair device."
HOW DO I TRACK MY SLEEP?
To put your Leap in sleep mode there are two options:
1. From the Leap Manager, press and hold your Leap to sync with the Leap Manager, then tap
on the sleep mode bar at the top of the screen. See that cute little moon? He is the keeper of
time –turn him on to start the clock.
Once you wake up, sync your device again (press and hold) and turn the moon off.
2. On the Leap, from the 'apps' screen, tap on the moon icon. You will see this
screen: . Tap on the check mark to start sleep mode.
When you want to turn sleep mode off, press and hold the screen and you will see a sleep
timer. Swipe the screen to see: . Tap on the icon to exit sleep.
Did you forget to turn sleep mode off? Well that's silly. But understandable. That's why we
programmed our Leap to automatically exit sleep mode once you walk more than 200 steps.

HOW DO I SET UP MY LEAP TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS?
After you pair your Leap, tap on the Leap device tile to access the notifications options.
HOW DO I SET MY GOALS?
To change your goals, from the home screen tap on the 'Menu.' Tap on 'Goals.' Tap on
the number you wish to change. Enter the new value, then press 'Done'
