You can use your Chromebook
laptop-style (pictured), or flip the
screen back to use it as a tablet -
your choice!
For the initial set up we
recommend keeping the keyboard
open for easier typing
To navigate you have 3 options:
●Touchpad (see diagram)
●Touchscreen (using your
finger or the stylus provided)
●A mouse (not provided)

We will only use the power button (left 1) and the power port (left 3 or right 3) to
set up your Chromebook. You may find some of the others useful in future:

Plug the Chromebook in before turning
on for the first time
Plug the power adapter provided into
one of the the USB-C ports found on
both the left (3on the diagram, left) or
right side of the Chromebook, and then
into the wall socket
The battery light (2) should turn on
when charging
Look for this symbol to find the charging
ports (or see page 5)

First Time Setup

1. Press and hold the power button on
the left side of the Chromebook (1
on the diagram, left)
1. If the device does not switch on:
a. Please ensure you have
charged the device for at least
half an hour and the light (2) is
on
b. If it is still not working, contact
the Digital Bridge team:

1. Select your language on the bottom
left of the screen -the default
should be English (United
Kingdom)
1. Tap Let’s Go to proceed

using English (UK) if you wish to use this
