Acqua GY-NE306CF User manual

Do not place on carpet
Never touch interior surface with wet hands,
this could result in frost bite.
Do not place chest freezer on carpet.
Condensation may condense on the exterior
surface during hot/humid days. This may
cause mould on carpet.
When 5mm frost forms in the freezer, please shave it and throw it away.
If you defrost completely, please do it as follows.
1 Please ensure inside is empty, and disconnect the power cord plug.
2 When frost starts thawing, please save it.
3 After draining, please wipe the inside, and put a rubber cap on the drain bolt
and the inside drain.
For defrosting the chest freezer, don’t use a hammer, knife or sharp
object. This can damage the lining and evaporator.
•Sudden power failure
Keep opening and closing of the door to a minimum to prevent cold air from escaping from the freezer compartment.
Covering exterior surfaces with a blanket, etc. will further help to maintain a low temperature.
•Announced power outage
In case of a long power outage, place dry ice in the freezer compartment.
•Keep opening and closing of the door to a minimum.
•Avoid placing new items in the freezer as this will raise the temperature inside the compartment.
•Place wood between door and chest freezer so as not to close it up.
•Please don’t put chest freezer in a place where children can play.
•Remove all items from the compartment and disconnect the power cord plug from the wall outlet.
•Clean the compartment interior and wipe away all water.
To prevent mold formation and bad smell, leave the door open to dry the compartment completely.
•Are the power fuses blown and/or the circuit breaker activated?
•Turn the temperature control dial in the direction of MAX. If too cold, turn dial
down.
Transfer the items stored in the freezer to a box or other container. Then contact the dealer from whom you
purchased this unit and be ready to provide information as listed in “REQUIRED INFORMATION’ below.
•Is the lid opened and closed frequently?
•Are items stocked beyond the load line?
•Turn the temperature control dial in the direction of MAX. If too cold, turn dial in
direction of MIN.
•Unit needs to be defrosted?
•Unitisonawoodenoor?
•Is the rear panel of the unit contacting a wall, etc?
•The compressor will generate a rather loud sound for a while after operation is
started. The noise will cease together with refrigeration.
•Especially in summer or on start up the circumference of chest freezer may feel
hot. This is because the chest freezer has a pipe for radiating and preventing
condensation.
The heat does not affect frozen goods
Fast Freeze - (Turn on the button and the light will be on, the freezer
will be in the state of fast freezing.
Turn off the button once cold or the compressor will run continually.)
•To adjust the temperature inside the freezer compartment,
adjust the temperature control dial on front-bottom side
of the chest freezer. Normally use chest freezer with
temperature 3 to 4
•If the cooling performance is inadequate, turn the
temperature control dial in the direction of 7. If too cold,
turn dial in direction of 0.
