Acqua GY-NE270FR/01 User manual

acqua
The freezer is designed for domestic use only, in detail for storage of edible foods at low
temperature. If the freezer is used for other purposes such as commercial applications or used
incorrectly, the manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage that may occur. Alterations or
changes to the freezer are not permitted for reasons of safety.
Containers with flammable gases or liquids can leak at low temperatures. There is a risk of
explosion! Do not store any container with flammable materials such as spray cans in the freezer.
Do not operate any electrical appliance in the freezer (e.g. electric ice cream makers, mixers etc.).
Before cleaning the appliance, always switch off the appliance and unplug it, or put the house
fuse or switch off on the circuit breaker.
The appliance should be placed in a dry and well-ventilated room. As the performance and energy
consumption of the freezer can be affected by the ambient temperature, the following instructions
should be ensured:
-Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight,
-Do not install the appliance close to radiators, cookers or other sources of heat,
-Place the appliance in a location where the ambient temperature corresponds to the climate
classification for which it is designed. You can find the climate classification on the
circuit-diagram-serial-plate located at the left-upper side of the appliance. The following table
shows this climate classification and its matching ambient temperature:
Ice tray
For making ice, pour cool boiled water into the ice tray up to 4/5 of its volume, and place it in
freezer compartment for 2 hours. When taking out ice cubes, twist the ice tray slightly, and the
ice cubes are separated from the ice tray. Do not bend it, as it will crack.
1. Allow the appliance to stand for 2 hours after installation.
2. Plug in the appliance and turn on the power.
3. Set temperature, see note below.
4. Leave the appliance switched on for approximately 4 hours to reach the correct temperature
before placing food inside.
5. The alarm light will remain on until set temperature is reached.
The abnormal high temperature inside freezer might be resulted from:
The freezer is faulting.
A power outage.
If the temperature inside the freezer rises to above -10oC, the indicator light of alarm will begin to
flash. If you don't touch any button, the temperature display will flash and show the current temperature
inside the freezer for about 10 seconds, then the temperature display will show the set/selected
temperature. By pressing the alarm button once the display will show the highest temperature the
freezer has reached for 4 seconds, then will return to the selected temperature. When it reaches to
below -10oC, the indicator light of alarm will be off.
If the memory of the highest temperature inside the freezer is not deleted, you can read it by
pressing the Alarm/M button.
If the alarm button has not been pressed to read the highest temperature then the alarm light
will remain on.
Energy Saving tips
1. Do not place warm foods into the appliance. Allow warm foods to cool first. Do not install the
appliance near cookers, radiators or other sources of warmth. High ambient temperatures cause
longer, more frequent operation of the compressor
2. In order to make the cooling system work efficiently, please make sure the side plates and back
plate of the product are with some distance from the wall. It is strongly recommended that the
distance should be more than 50mm
3. When the product works, please do not open the door too often or leave the door open any longer
than necessary.
4. Do not set temperature any colder than necessary.
5. Please keep the food away from the wind gate. Moreover, the amount of the stored food must be
kept properly, otherwise, the stuffed refrigerator would lead to bad airflow inside.
6. The sketch map shows the right combination of the drawers, baskets and shelves which can lead
to the more energy efficiency. If users adjusted the combination, it would result the energy-
consuming.
