GAS SUPPLY CONNECTION
CONEXIÓN DE LA ESTUFA A LA LÍNEA DE GAS
Para conectar su estufa, utilice el material especificado en la figura
de a ajo.

 Proper installation is your responsi ility. A qualified
technician or Service technician must install this
range.
 Remove all packing material and put the range
accessories in their places.
 Select the est location in your kitchen for your
range, protected from wind and with enough space
to open the oven door.
 Do not install ca inetry directly a ove the range.
 If you will install an exhaust device, put it at 61 cm
minimum from the range cooktop.
 If your range has a power cord, it must e installed
near an electrical wall outlet.
 Do not use extension cords or multiple outlets.

 La instalación apropiada es su responsa ilidad.
Un técnico calificado o un técnico de Servicio de e
instalar esta estufa.
 Retire los elementos de empaque y coloque los accesorios
de la estufa.
 Seleccione la mejor u icación para su estufa, no de e
quedar expuesta a corrientes de aire y de e tener espacio
suficiente para a rir la puerta del horno.
 No instale ga inetes o mue les de cocina encima de la
estufa.
 Si instala campana extractora, colóquela a 61 cm como
mínimo, de la cu ierta de la estufa.
 Si su estufa cuenta con accesorios eléctricos, colóquela
cerca de un tomacorriente de pared.
 No use extensiones eléctricas o contactos múltiples.

 Ajuste del aire de quemadores superiores:
IMPORTANTE
NOTA: Las diferentes altitudes so re el nivel del mar y las variaciones
en el suministro de gas, hacen necesario regular la entrada de aire
primario a los quemadores para o tener una adecuada mezcla de
aire-gas y así tener un uen funcionamiento en la estufa.
NOTA: Para operar esta estufa con gas natural,
se requiere el juego de conversión de acuerdo
con la siguiente ta la:

personas que la usan.

HOW TO ADJUST THE FLAMES
 How to adjust the air for surface burners:
IMPORTANT
NOTE: Because of different altitudes a ove
sea level and variations in the supply of gas,
you may need to adjust the main air intake
to the urners. This will result in a etter
air-gas mixture and thus a etter operation.

To make it easier to move the
appliance, the installer should
loop the 3/8" copper tu ing as
shown in the illustration.
If the installation is not
new, you should clean
it in order to avoid the
o struction of orifices
and/or pilots.

 This range is adjusted at the factory
for use with L.P. gas.
 To use this range with natural gas,
you must replace the surface and
oven urner orifices, call Servicio
Acros-Whirlpool, the phone num er
is shown in the page 16. The
technician must make sure that the
connections have no leaks and the
gas pressure in the range is the
same as shown in the charts.

TORNILLO DE AJUSTE
DE PILOTO HORNO
 Los modelos con termostato tienen piloto en el horno,
para ajustarlo:
1.- Con el frente de perillas retirado, localice el tornillo de ajuste
de la flama del piloto, en el termostato. (Ver figura).
2.- Retire la charola del horno (ver Pag. 13), gire el control
aproximadamente 30° hasta sentir un tope,
(esta es la posición de piloto) y encienda el
piloto con un cerillo.
3.- Con un desarmador plano y delgado gire el tornillo de
ajuste del piloto hasta o tener una flama de
aproximadamente 1 cm.
4.- Coloque el frente de perillas, los tornillos y las perillas
nuevamente en su lugar.
Posición de Piloto.
A - Afloje el tornillo del
regulador.
B - Gire el regulador un
poco.
C - Encienda el horno.
D - Verifique que las
flamas sean azules.
E - Si las flamas no son
azules repita desde
el paso B, al finalizar
apriete nuevamente
el tornillo.
F - Coloque la charola
del horno y la parrilla
nuevamente en su
lugar.
 The models with thermostat have a pilot in the oven burner,
to adjust it:
1.- Without the manifold panel, locate the adjustment screw on
the thermostat, see the illustration on the right side.
2.- Remove the oven tray (see page 13) and turn the kno
approximately 30° until you feel a small stop,
turn the oven pilot on with a match or a lighter.
3.- With a flat and thin screwdriver turn the adjustment screw
until you get a flame approximately 3/8" tall.
4.- Replace the manifold panel, screws and kno s.

 How to adjust the oven burner air shutter:
Remove the
oven rack.
(See page 11).
Remove the oven
tray. (See page 13).
123A - Locate the screw on
the air shutter and
loosen it.
B - Turn around the air
shutter.
C - Turn on the oven.
D - Verify that the flames
are lue.
E - If the flames are not
lue, repeat since
step B, when the
flames are adjusted,
tighten the screw
again.
F - Replace the oven tray
and the oven rack.

Algunos modelos (ver Pag. 2) cuentan con quemador programa le.
El quemador programa le es un quemador que funciona según el
tiempo que se le programe en el reloj desde 1:59 horas hasta 1
minuto. Este quemador se localiza en la parte frontal derecha de la
estufa.
 Para operar el quemador programable:
1.- Pulse la tecla (Quemador Programa le) del reloj, ajuste
el tiempo que desea mantener encendido el quemador, hasta
1:59 horas oprimiendo la tecla ó 0:59 minutos o menos
oprimiendo la tecla .
2.- Encienda el quemador programa le oprimiendo la perilla y girándola
hasta la posición de flama máxima, mantengala oprimida por 3
ó 4 segundos hasta que el quemador encienda, una vez encendido,
mantenga la perilla presionada hasta que el quemador permanezca
encendido cuando li ere la perilla, (Aprox. 10 segundos).
3.- Cuando el tiempo del TIMER llegue a cero, el quemador se
apagará automáticamente y sonará indicando que el tiempo se
ha terminado.
4.- Al apagarse el quemador, la válvula quedará en posición de
a ierto, el gas no se fugará de ido al dispositivo de seguridad,
regrese la válvula a la posición de apagado.
EN TIEMPO (QUEMADOR PROGRAMABLE)
 Para encender los quemadores superiores con encendido electrónico
independiente:
Algunos modelos (ver Pag. 2) cuentan con
encendido electrónico independiente, para
operarlo oprima el otón que se localiza en el
lado izquierdo del frente de perillas y al
mismo tiempo presione y gire 1/4 de vuelta la
perilla del quemador que desea encender.
ENCENDIDO ELECTRÓNICO DE QUEMADORES SUPERIORES
1.- Algunos modelos (ver Pag. 2) cuentan con encendido
electrónico en la perilla, para operarlo gire la perilla
del quemador que desea encender hasta la posición
de encendido, (ver figura).
2.- Para que la ujía de encendido deje de producir
chispas, gire la perilla hasta la posición de flama
máxima.

 Para encender los quemadores superiores con encendido electrónico
integrado en la perilla:
Some models (see page 2) include a programma le urner.
The programma le urner operates with the timer, with a
range from 1:59 hours to 1 minute. The urner is located in
the right front side of the range.
 How to operate the programmable burner:
1.- Push the utton, adjust the hour with the utton,
adjust the minutes with the utton. The time showing,
up to 1 hour and 59 minutes, is how long the urner will
run.
2.- Turn on the programma le urner, push the kno and
turn it to the ignition mark, continue pushing the kno for
3 to 4 seconds until the urner lights, press the kno
some more seconds until the urner remains on.
(Aprox. 10 seconds).
3.- When the programmed time is over, the urner will turn
off automatically and the eeper will sound.
4.- When the urner turns off, the valve will remain open, ut
the gas will not leak due to the safety device, turn the
valve to off position.

 To turn on the surface burners with independent
electronic ignition:
Some models (see page 2) have independent
electronic ignition, to operate it push the utton
located on the left side of the manifold panel while
you push and turn the desired kno . Release the
ignition utton when the urner lights.
PROGRAMMABLE BURNER
TOP BURNERS WITH ELECTRONIC IGNITION
 To turn on the surface burners with electronic
ignition in the knob:
1.- Some models (see page 2) have electronic ignition
integrated in kno s, to operate push and turn the
desired kno to the ignition position. (See illustration).
2.- To stop the sparks turn the kno to the
maximum flame position.

Algunos modelos (ver Pag. 2) cuentan con termostato
y piloto de encendido en el horno, para operarlo:
1.- Encienda un cerillo y colóquelo cerca del agujero
de la charola del horno, presione y gire la perilla del
horno hasta la posición de piloto.
2.- Gire la perilla hasta 1/4 de vuelta para que encienda
el quemador.
3.- Verifique que el quemador del horno se haya
encendido.
HORNO CON TERMOSTATO Y PILOTO DE ENCENDIDO
Algunos modelos (ver Pag. 2) cuentan con quemadores
multiposición, estos quemadores se cam ian de posición
permitiendo concentrar más calor para ollas grandes.
Algunos modelos tienen los quemadores
multiposición en el lado izquierdo de la
estufa.
 Para girar los quemadores:
1.- Los quemadores de en estar fríos.
2.- Tome el quemador multiposición, levántelo y girélo
180° grados (media vuelta).
3.- Vuelva a colocarlo, asegurándose que la ujía de
encendido haya entrado en la perforación del quemador.
DUO FLAMA (QUEMADORES MULTIPOSICIÓN)
Algunos modelos tienen los quemadores
multiposición al centro de la estufa o en
los extremos.

Si desea cancelar la programación del quemador programa le, pulse la tecla RELOJ
y apague el quemador.
Si desea reprogramar el tiempo del quemador sin apagarlo, oprima la tecla RELOJ y
siga el paso 1.
El quemador con timer tam ién funciona como un quemador normal. Si la opera en
este modo SÍ de e cerrar la válvula manualmente al terminar de operarla.
El control del quemador con timer funciona con electricidad, si el suministro de energía
eléctrica llegara a fallar cuando el quemador está programado, éste se apagará.

MULTIPOSITION BURNERS
Some models (see page 2) have multiposition urners,
the position of these urners can e changed, allowing
to concentrate the heat for large pots.
Some models have the multiposition
urners on the left side of the range.
 To rotate the burners:
1.- Ensure that the urners are cold.
2.- Take the multiposition urners, lift and rotate them
180° (half turn).
3.- Put the urners down again, e sure the spark plug
has een inserted in the urner hole.
Some models have the multiposition
urners on the center of the range or on
the sides.

Some models (see page 2) have a thermostat and pilot
to control the oven function.
 How to light the oven burner with thermostat and
pilot:
1.- Open the oven door, light a match and place the flame
at the igniter hole in the front of the oven tray, push
and turn the oven kno to the pilot position.
2.- Turn the oven kno 1/4 of the way to ignite the oven
urner, this position is minimum flame.
3.- Verify that the oven urner has een ignited.
OVEN WITH THERMOSTAT AND PILOT
If you want to cancel the time programming of the urner, push the CLOCK utton and turn
off the urner.
If you want to reprogram the urner without turning it off, push the CLOCK utton and follow
step 1.
The programma le urner also operates as a regular urner, if you use this mode, you
must turn off the urner manually.
The programma le urner control operates with electricity and will turn off the urner if the
electrical source fails.

Algunos modelos (ver Pag. 2) cuentan con termostato idireccional, este termostato es
de encendido electrónico y controla el horno o el asador superior, el asador superior
se localiza en la parte superior de la cavidad del horno.
 Como funciona el horno con termostato bidireccional:
1.- Oprima la perilla del horno y giréla en sentido inverso

OVEN / BROILER WITH BIDIRECTIONAL THERMOSTAT
Some models (see page 2) have idirectional thermostat, this device controls the oven any
the waist roiler, this roiler is located on the top of the oven cavity and is ignited electronically.
 How to light the oven burner with bidirectional
thermostat:
1.- Turn the oven kno counter clockwise until it matches
with some oven temperature, push the kno 3 or 4
seconds and the oven urner will ignite automatically.
Remain pressed the kno until the urner is on when
you release the kno (10 seconds approximately).
2.- Select the desired temperature.
 How to light the broiler burner with bidirectional
thermostat:
Turn the oven kno clockwise until the roiler position,
push the kno 3 or 4 seconds and the roiler urner
will ignite automatically. Remain pressed the kno until
the urner is on when you release the kno , (10
seconds approximately).

To use the roiler you should turn on the oven

 Como funciona su reloj digital:
1.- Oprima la tecla donde aparece .
2.- Oprima las teclas o , hasta fijar la hora correcta. En P.M. se enciende un
punto en el lado izquierdo del reloj.
 Para programar el timer:
1.- Oprima la tecla (se encenderá un punto del lado derecho).
2.- Oprima las teclas o hasta fijar el tiempo en que desee que suene el timer.
IMPORTANTE: No cam ie a reloj, deje el tiempo programado. Cuando el tiempo se
complete sonará el timer.
3.- Para desactivar el TIMER oprima la tecla y aparecerá la hora normal.
NOTA: El TIMER marca un tiempo máximo de 1:59 horas.

NOTA: El reloj viene ajustado de fábrica para trabajar a la frecuencia de 0 Hz, si en su localidad

1.- Push the utton.
2.- Push the utton until the hour is adjusted.
3.- Push the utton until the minutes are adjusted.
 To program the timer:
1.- Push the utton (a point at right side will glow).
2.- Push the and uttons to fix the desired time, (the maximum timer
time is 1 hour 59 minutes).
IMPORTANT: Do not change the clock mode. When the timer finishes, a ell will
ring. Pushing the utton while the timer is running will stop and clear the
timer.
DIGITAL CLOCK / TIMER
Some models (see page 2) include digital clock / timer.
NOTE: The clock is adjusted at the factory to work with a frecuency of 0 Hz, if in your comunity
the electrical supply is at 50 Hz, move the small lever located on the back of the clock to the
left position.

Algunos modelos (ver Pág. 2) cuentan con comal de aluminio con aca ado
antiadherente, para usarlo de e retirar una parrilla y colocarlo en lugar de ésta.
NOTA: Use el comal de aluminio con FLAMA BAJA.
NOTA: El comal con aca ado antiadherente (color negro en la superficie)
NO puede ser usado como parrilla descongelante (por el lado inferior) ya que el
fuego directo so re la superficie antiadherente le dañará el aca ado.
Para proteger el aca ado es recomenda le poner un poco de aceite o mantequilla
antes de usarlo.
Use utensilios de plástico preferentemente a fin de protegerlo de rayaduras.
Use agua ja onosa y esponja para limpiarlo, materiales a rasivos como fi ras de
plástico o metal pueden rayarlo.
COMAL PORCELANIZADO
Algunos modelos (ver Pág. 2) cuentan con comal porcelanizado, para usarlo de e
colocarlo so re una parrilla.
ANTIADHERENT ALUMINIUM GRIDDLE
Some models (see page 2) have aluminium griddle with antiadherent finish, to use it remove
a top grate and put the griddle.
NOTE: Use the griddle with MINIMUM FLAME.
NOTE: The aluminium griddle with antiadherent finish ( lack surface), can not e used as
defrost pan ( ottom side), the finish will e damage applying direct fire.
Apply some utter efore use the griddle to protect the finish.
Use plastic utensils to protect the griddle against scratches.
Do not use a rasive materials like steel or plastic fi res to clean it.
Use only cloth or sponge, soap or detergent and rinse with water.

Some models (see page 2) include a glass lid.
The glass lid is made of resistant tempered glass, it
should e handled with care to avoid reaking the
glass. Open or close the glass lid with care.

Para hornear alimentos muy grandes puede
usarse el soporte extra de la parte inferior.
El horno tiene 4 diferentes soportes para la parrilla, la parrilla tiene un tope que evita
que se salga completamente del horno, para cam iar la posición de la parrilla siga los

An extra rack position is provided for special
cooking operations other than aking, such as
roasting, where a large roasting container will
require more heat and therefore need to e closer
to the heat source or oven ottom.

La válvula permite el paso del gas solo con el
capelo a ierto. Para operar el horno el capelo
de e estar a ierto.
 Válvula de Seguridad en el Respaldo Superior:
La válvula en el respaldo superior opera con una perilla,
presione y gire la perilla para a rirla. Cuando no tenga
su estufa en uso puede mantener la perilla en posición
cerrada para mayor seguridad.

This valve controls the gas supply to the range.
 Glass Lid Shut Off Valve:
The shut off valve operates with the glass lid, when
the glass lid is opened, the shut off valve is opened,
when the glass lid is closed the shut off valve is
closed. To operate the oven, the glass lid must e
opened.
 Backguard Shut Off Valve:
The shut off valve operates with a kno , push and turn the
kno to open the valve. For your safety maintain the kno
in off position when the range is not used.

 Para reemplazar el foco del horno:
1.- Desconecte el ca le tomacorriente de
la estufa.
2.- Retire el foco y reemplácelo con un
foco nuevo de 40 watts especial para
aparatos domésticos.
3.- Conecte la estufa nuevamente.
Algunos modelos (ver Pag. 2), cuentan con perillas Super Safe, que son perillas que
rindan seguridad adicional para su familia a través de un candado individual.
Las perillas Super Safe funcionan a través de una palanca que activa un candado que
impide girar la perilla para encender el quemador.
Active el candado individual de las perillas cuando no utilice su estufa.

La perilla se puede girar si la palanca se coloca en
la posición del candado a ierto . Si la palanca
se coloca en la posición del candado cerrado , la
perilla no podrá girarse.
 Forma correcta de operar las perillas Super Safe:
El colocar la palanca en posición de candado cerrado,
cuando el quemador está encendido, podría dañar o
dificultar la operación de la perilla Super Safe.
SUPER SAFE KNOB
IMPORTANT
Some models (see page 2) have Super Safe kno s,
these are kno s with a lever that activate an extra
safety mechanism for children. If you do not have
children at home is not necessary to activate the lever
each time you turn off the urners.
The kno can e turned if the lever indicates the
unlock position . If the lever indicates the lock
position, the kno can not e turned.
Once you have turned on the
burner, the lever must be
maintained on unlocked position,
as shown in the figure.
Putting the lever on lock position when the burner
is turned on, may damage or difficulty the operation
of Safety Knob.
LUZ DE HORNO
Algunos modelos (ver Pag. 2), cuentan con luz en el
horno, la iluminación es importante para revisar el
horneado sin a rir la puerta.
Algunos modelos tienen el interruptor en el lado
izquierdo del frente de perillas. Otros lo tienen integrado
en la perilla del horno, misma que al girarla, enciende
la luz y se mantiene encendida durante el horneado,
asegurándole o servar sus alimentos en cualquier
momento. Otros modelos lo tienen integrado frente a
la puerta del horno y se acciona automáticamente al
a rir la puerta del mismo.

Some models have the light switch located on
the left side of the manifold panel. Other models
have the switch integrated on the oven kno , it
turns on when the kno is operated and the light
remains on, allowing to watch the aking at any
time. Other models have an integrated light switch
in front of the oven door and is activated
automatically when the door is opened.
 How to replace the oven bulb:
1.- Disconnect the power cord.
2.- Remove the ul and replace with a new 40
watts special appliance ul .
3.- Connect the power cord again.

Limpieza
Es necesaria la limpieza periódica de la estufa, use agua, ja ón y un trapo húmedo, no
use fi ra metálica, porque se ralla el esmalte. Limpie regularmente el hueco entre la
cu ierta superior y el frente de perillas.
Su estufa cuenta con el Sistema de Autolimpieza en el horno (aca ado rugoso), no es
necesario que limpie las paredes, ya que con cada horneado se van quemando los residuos
de alimentos que se van salpicando.
 Como retirar la charola del horno:
1.- Tome la charola de las ranuras laterales.
y levántela de la parte trasera.
2.- Empuje la charola hacia adentro del
horno para destra arla.
3.- Jale la charola para sacarla.
No utilice sosa cáustica o productos
de limpieza que la contengan para
limpiar la estufa.
De no seguir esta instrucción se
ocasionarán daños permanentes en las
superficies donde se aplique.
IMPORTANTE
Puede usar papel aluminio para forrar la charola
del horno, teniendo cuidado de NO tapar las
ranuras de la misma.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regularly clean grates, urners, cooktop and the oven tray, use water,
soap and a damp cloth, avoid using a rasive or sharp o jects. Periodically
clean the gap etween the cooktop and the manifold panel.
Your range has the Continuous Cleaning System in the oven, it is
not necessary to clean the walls of the oven, the spills will urn
each time you ake.
 How to remove the oven tray:
1.- Take the tray y the side holes.
and lift the rear side.
2.- Push the tray towards the top and
ack of the oven.
3.- Pull the tray out the oven.
You can use aluminum
foil to wrap the oven tray, avoid
covering the side grooves.
 To assembly the knobs:
1.- Put the spring on the kno ase.
2.- Put the kno on the spring. The red mark must e upside
while the lever of the ase must e pointed down.
3.- Insert the metallic ring on the kno shaft.
 How to install the knobs if you remove them for cleaning:
1.- The valve should e in off position.
2.- The kno should e in vertical position, the red mark
up and the small lever to the left side (See the illustration)
3.- Insert the kno in the valve, e sure that the small pin ehind
the kno is aligned to the hole on the manifold panel, push
the kno until the face of the manifold panel.

 Para ensamblar las perillas Super Safe:
1.- Coloque el resorte so re la ase de la perilla.
2.- Coloque la perilla encima del resorte. La marca
roja de la perilla de e apuntar hacia arri a mientras
que la palanca de la ase apunta hacia a ajo.
3.- Inserte el collar
metálico en la
perilla.
1.- Coloque la válvula en posición de Apagado.
2.- La perilla de e estar en posición vertical, con la marca
roja hacia arri a y la palanquita apuntando hacia la
izquierda (Ver la figura de la derecha).
3.- Inserte la perilla en la válvula asegurándose que el
pernito de atrás de la perilla entre en el agujero del
frente de perillas, empuje firmemente la perilla hasta
que tope con el frente de perillas.
 En caso de retirar las perillas para limpieza, coloquelas de acuerdo a las
siguientes instrucciones:
