PassThru+ XS 2G is a communication interface
providing data link between a vehicle and a PC,
enabling you to communicate with the ECU's
according to the J2534, J2534-1 and J2534-2
specifications.

Installation guide
1. The PassThru+ XS 2G is powered solely via Sub-D
from the vehicle. If you use an external power supply
for the vehicle or a device under test, make sure that
there is a good ground connection between the PC,
the vehicle ground and the external device.
Otherwise the PassThru+ XS 2G may be damaged.
2. Attention:
- Supply voltage 7..32 V DC

Download the PassThru+ XS 2G API for the
workshop.
Follow the steps of the installation.
When the PassThru+ XS 2G is used the first time in
Bluetooth mode, the Bluetooth connection must be
installed on the connected PC or notebook. For this
process the PassThru+ XS 2G must be supplied with
power. The Bluetooth Device Wizzard will guide
through the installation. The passkey is ACTIA.

4Do not use the equipment when the environment temperature is higher than +55°C or less than +/- 0°C.
4Voltage via external power supply: 7..32 V DC.
4Do not get in contact with fluid.(water, acid, solvent,etc.)
4Do not drop the equipment.
4Always unplug equipment from electrical power supply when not in use.
4To reduce the risk of fire, do not operate equipment in the vicinity of open containers of flammable liquids
(gasoline).
4Variation and deviation of external voltage outside admissible tolerances can damage the equipment.
4For cleaning the equipment from the outside a damp cloth with mild cleaning agent can be used. Do not use
solvent.

1) J1850 PWM – There is an additional possibility to connect a pair of 330 Ohm pullup to +5V to both PWM lines controlled by
software.
2) The VProg can be switched to the marked OBD pins independent of all other settings.
