UFI Pico Sell V1.5 Ethernet Gateway LoRa indoor

Installation Guide
Note: if you have bought this Gateway through our ThingPark Dev IoT Store or ThingPark
Market, this Gateway is already pre-configured with ThingPark Dev1 LRR. You do not need to
flash the Gateway. If not, please follow up the instruction given inside the FAQ section of the
developer portal.
The gateway comes with DHCP enable and port 21, 22 and 2404 need to be open on your
firewall
①UNBOX THE GATEWAY
To unbox your Gateway :
1. Check that all the following devices are in the box
2. Take an Ethernet Cable (not provided)

②CONNECT THE GATEWAY
To connect your gateway:
1. Screw the antenna
2. Plug the Ethernet Cable & Connect it to your Internet network
3. Plug the Power Supply & plug it into the socket
③CREATE YOUR GATEWAY
To create your Gateway:
4. Go to the Partner Portal https://partners.thingpark.com
5. From your dashboard, click on the Network Manager entry from the left side menu.
6. A new window/tab will open into your Network Manager.
7. Click on the ‘Base stations’ on the left then on the ‘Create’ button from the ‘Add base
stations’ section.
8. A new pop-up appears with 6 fields
9. Indicate LRR ID as Identification mode-> the pop-up is now 5 fields

10. Fill out the fields as follows :
oLRR ID: Identification of the base station -> Enter the last BS ID 8 hexadecimal
digits
oModel = Gateway model -> Select “UfiSpace gateway picocell V1.5”
oSMN: Serial Number -> Enter 0000-XX-0000-0000 as SMN (do not copy and
paste from the user guide).
oName : name of your Basestation -> Enter a name
11. Click on to add the base station.
12. A message pop up indicated the base station has been created
13. To view the base station in the list, click on Search in the search section.
Note: Once a new Gateway has been created, it stays in status VALIDATING until your
Operator Manager has validated the base station on its network.

Note: Once a new Gateway has been validated, it stays in status CONNECTION STATUS
UNKNOWN until you provision a device on your Device Manager
