Maintenance
Adjusting the running belt
Adjustment of running belt have two functions: to center the running belt
and to adjust its tension. Running belt adjustment has already been done
at the factory, but after use the running belt will be stretched and may run
with off center position causing friction trim and rear cover
damage. Running belt being stretched during use is normal. If you step
off the treadmill while leaving it running it should return to center. If it
doesn't, you might need to do some adjustment:
1. Start the treadmill and raise the speed to 6 km/h. Observe the gap
between belt and sides at left and right.
2. If the belt is leaning to the left, use hex wrench to rotate the screw
clockwise ¼ turn.
3. If the belt is leaning towards the right side, use the hex wrench,
rotate right screw clockwise 1/4 turn.
4. If the running belt is still not in the middle, repeat the above action,
until the running belt is centered. If it becomes too tight, loosen
tension by rotating counter clockwise equally on both left and right
screw. Center the running belt to the middle, adjust speed to 8
km/h, and observe deviations running belt and running smooth. If
there are deviations, repeat the adjustment steps.

WARNING! Do not over-tighten the drum! This will lead to
permanent bearing damage! Loosen by rotating both left and right
screw equally. You should always be able to lift the running belt by
hand.
Cleaning
After using the machine, cut off power, use dry cleaning cloth to clean off
the dust. To avoid transmogrification and fading, when cleaning, please
don’t use mineral spirits, gasoline, ethanol or hot water.
When it has been used in a dusty environment, it is necessary to vacuum
the interior of the treadmill. Do this by first cutting the power and then
loosen the four screws to the hood, remove it and carefully vacuum all
visible dust.
Notice: Failure to clean the treadmill can cause shortened lifetime,
burnt smell and even fire.

Lubricating
It is very important to keep the belt lubricated for the longevity of the
product and for the treadmill do run smoothly.
This is a high-end treadmill and it has already been
factory-lubricated so that no lubrication is needed within the first
year of use.
When using the product moderately (approx 60 min/day) it is only
necessary to lubricate the belt once a month after the first year of use has
passed. If the treadmill is being more frequently used, it can be necessary
to lubricate it more often.
You can check if the belt needs lubrication in the following ways:
1. Turn off the treadmill.
2. Push the running belt back and forth using your feet. It should be
moving silently, evenly and smoothly if being well lubricated.
3. Check with you hands between the bottom of the belt and the
running board to see if it is dry or feeling lubricated.

Some advice
•Be sure to place the treadmill pushed well under your desk
(approx. 30 cm).
•Raise your desktop so high that the angles on the forearms pointing
slightly upward to relax your shoulders.
•Don't hang or lean on your desk when you walk. Let your wrists
and your eyes control the direction of your body.
•It is important not to walk too fast when you start using it to avoid
muscle soreness and strain. Gradually increase length and speed.
•If you spend several hours on the treadmill, you may discover new
places with sore muscles, such as your back, hips and legs.
•It may be enough with 15 minutes in the beginning and then
gradually increase the duration.
•There are those who walk the entire working day on this treadmill,
while others just take a short walk when they feel they need to get
energized. Use it your way!
•Be aware that you may feel a little light headed when you step off
the treadmill but the feeling passes after a few seconds.
•Let your arms hang by your sides when you are only reading and
walk like you normally do when you don't need to use the
keyboard or mouse.
•Most computer-related tasks are excellent fits to perform while
walking on this treadmill but it is usually more difficult to perform
tasks requiring precision work, like drawing.
If you find some tasks difficult to perform when walking, step on
the side rails and then continue to walk when the task is completed.
•The easiest to start with tend to be reading or watching, while
typing takes a little more practice.
