Product Anatomy
USB Single-Use Temperature Data loggers designed in strict adherence with WHO
specifications. PDF and CSV reports with time-stamped temperature records are
accessible at the end of the trip. No additional software is required. Rely on Type A/B,
Type C, Rotateq, and Prevenar data loggers to meet the varied requirements of your vaccine
asset monitoring.

Operational Instructions
Mode 1: In Idle mode
In idle LCD will only display
the temperature in degrees
Celsius along with the
battery status.
Mode 4: End/Deactivation
Mode 5: Data collection
Press and hold the button for three seconds
which informs the device to stop recording.
The ‘END’ icon would be displayed on the
screen and device stops recording.
User cannot restart after ending the trip.
Mode 3: Beginning trip
After completing the recording delay, the
‘REC’ icon would become stable, signifying
that the device has begun recording.
Device collects data for time stamps as per
logging interval.
After ending the trip, User has to connect the
device USB to a PC or laptop and click on the
prompt button.
This would allow you to download the trip
report in both PDF and CSV formats (device
supports Windows & iOS)

Mode 2: Start/Activation
Press and hold the button for three
seconds, and the device would turn on.
This would put the device in activation/
start mode
The ‘REC’ icon on LCD display would start
blinking.
The device starts recording only after 30
minutes (after completing delay interval).
The time-gap is to equilibrate the contain-
er (consignment) temperature to the same
within the device.
Delay time in minutes can seen below the
temperature on the LCD display.

Nature of Violations and Exposure intervals are shown in below table:
User Interface
User can fetch the data from PC/Laptop, also can see data on display by clicking on prompt button.
User can see number of violations, type of violation, time stamps of violations, trip time on the display.
Time stamps can be seen by clicking on the button in steps.
If there are No violations, Tick/OK mark will be displayed on the LCD.
If there are violations, X/not OK mark will be displayed on the LCD.

Warranty Information
Disposal Instructions

If battery of any device in Adapt’s Proton WHO series is exhausted before the expiry date,
mentioned on the device, it is covered under the replacement warranty. The device will be
replaced, Adapt shall also bear the shipping charges. Devices whose seal is opened is not
covered under the warranty.Liquid and Physical damage is not covered under the warranty.
Adapt Loggers, handles the disposal of Adapt’s Proton WHO series of data loggers at no
extra cost. Connecting the data logger to an internet connected device with browser access,
can help Adapt Loggers establish the location of the device. The device shall be collected
and disposed off by Adapt’s authorized dismantlers/disposal partners. Adapt encourages
you to connect the USB of the device to an internet connected device like laptop or
smartphone(using an OTG cable). This is the most sustainable way to deal with the devices
post the trip completion.Adapt’s Proton WHO data loggers, come under the purview of
e-waste. Hence, have to be disposed in accordance with e-waste disposal policy of
respective geography.
Once the battery has completely discharged and the device is not functioning anymore,
you will have to carefully dispose the unit. The battery is not replaceable and cannot be
removed from the unit and the battery is Lithium based. Therefore, dispose the unit
responsibly into either a recycling bin or an e-waste collection area that accepts electronics
and batteries.
