DESCRIPTION DU FONCTIONNEMENT
Le compteur 196250 est conçu pour détecter les courants foudre, les comptabiliser, enregistrer la date et
l
’heure de l’évènement ainsi que leurs amplitudes.
Le co
mpteur peut ainsi enregistrer jusqu’à 10 impacts. Le dernier impact est toujours celui
affiché en
premier
. Lors d’un 11ième impact, l’enregistrement le plus ancien est effacé. En prenant l’
exemple de
l
’organigramme ci-contre, l’impact enregistré « n° :10 » correspond au 10ième impact.
Lors du
remplacement des piles, les informations nombre d’impact (écran pr
incipal) et les
e
nregistrements (amplitude, date & heure) restent enregistrées.
Le clavier, à droite du
compteur, comporte de 3 touches :
1) Touche MENU :
2 types d’appui sont associés à cette touche :
·Appui bref :
oEntrer dans les rubriques principales
oOuvrir les différents paramètres.
oValider une valeur
·Appui long :
oRevenir à l’écran précédent
2) Touches ᴠet ᴧ:
·Naviguer dans les différentes rubriques et sous-rubriques
·Incrémenter/décrémenter les valeurs clignotantes (réglage date & heure)
·Parcourir les différents enregistrements
L
orsque le compteur est associé aux PDA Defystorm, il permet d’indiquer si une
vérification du
fonctionnement du PDA est néce
ssaire ou non suite à un impact foudre. La nécessité d’
une vérification
est indiquée par le symbole d
’une clef :

Lors de l’installation du compteur 196250 ou lors du changement de piles, il est impératif de
procéder au réglage de la date et de l’heure.
Afin de garantir la protection contre les impacts directs de la foudre, il est impératif de faire vérifier
dans les plus brefs délais le fonctionnement du PDA lors de l’affichage de la clef.

DESCRIPTION DU FONCTIONNEMENT
The 196250 meter is designed to detect lightning currents, count them, record the date and time of the
event
and their amplitudes.
The counter can thus record up to 10 impacts. The last impact is always the one displayed first. On an
11th impact, the oldest record is erased. Taking the example of the flowchart opposite, the impact
recorded " n°
:10 " corresponds to the 10th impact counted.
When the batteries are replaced, the impact number information (main screen) and the recordings
(amplitude, date & time) remain recorded.
The keyboard, on the right sid
e of the counter, has 3 keys :
1) MENU key :
This key has 2 types of press:
·Short press :
oEnter the main headings
oOpen the different parameters.
oValidate a value
·Long press :
oReturn to previous screen
2) ᴠet ᴧkeys :
·navigate in the different headings and subheadings
·Increment/decrement flashing values (date & time setting)
·Browse the different recordings
When the counter is associated with
Defystorm ESE rods, it indicates whethe
r or not a check of the
PDA's operation is necessary following a lightning strike. The need for a
check is indicated by the
symbol
of a
wrench :

When installing the 196250 meter or when changing the batteries, it is imperative to set the date
and time.
In order to guarantee protection against direct lightning strikes, it is imperative to have the
operation of the ESE checked as soon as possible when the wrench symbol is displayed.
