Importing Audio Using GarageBand
Launch GarageBand
Click Track
Click New Basic Track
Click record button (red dot) to begin recording
Click record button again to stop recording

To playback the captured audio file, click the play button (triangle button)
To stop playback, click the play button again

Instant Music Troubleshooting using GarageBand:
No audio during playback
Hardware settings:
Apple icon > System Preferences… > Sound (speaker icon) > Input > ensure USB Audio
CODEC is selected

Software settings:
Click GarageBand > Preferences > Audio/MIDI icon > Audio Input: (drop-down menu) > ensure
USB Audio CODEC is selected
Hearing constant tap sound on recording and or playback
Within GarageBand, click Control and uncheck Metronome
