USE OF ACCESSORIES
USE OF ACCESSORIES
CAUTION!
To avoid inadvertently pressing the steam delivery
button while changing accessories, the device must
be always switched off and unplugged! Since the
device parts remain very hot due to the hot steam,
allow these to cool for about 5 minutes before
changing the parts!
Use of the handle without accessories
The handle can be used without additional
accessories to steam surfaces and objects.
Application area::
• Removing creases from textiles. To do so, steam
the textiles from a distance of approx. 30 cm.
• Steam dusting. To do so, apply steam to a
duster for a short time and then use the latter to
wipe off the surfaces to be cleaned.
Use of the floor wiper
The floor wiper is designed to clean heat- and
damp-proof floor coverings, including e.g.:
• Cleaning of stone, tiled and PVC floors.
• Cleaning of sealed wooden and parquet
flooring.
The floor wiper can be attached to the handle using
the two extension pipes.
• To connect the extension pipes together and
with the handle, press the adjustment knob so
that both parts can be fitted together.
• Insert the extension pipe into the adapter piece
of the floor wiper.
• If the adapter piece becomes detached from the
floor wiper, reinsert the former into the opening.
Be careful when doing so to ensure that the flat
section of the nozzle must be directed toward
the side of the frame with the measuring stick.
After inserting, turn through 90°.
• To remove the parts, repeat the previous steps
in reverse, i.e. by pressing the adjustment knob
and disengaging the parts from each other
again.

USE OF ACCESSORIES / CARE AND
MAINTENANCE
Fixing the floor cloth onto the frame
Be careful to ensure, when changing the floor cloth,
that the floor wiper frame has cooled down, before
the cloth is removed and a new one put in place.
• Pull the floor cloth over the floor wiper frame up
to the edges.
• Then place the Velcro fasteners found on the
cloth over the frame and secure the two inner
surfaces of the cloth facing each other in place.
• If it is very cold outside, avoid cleaning panes of
glass with steam due to the risk of breakage.
Pointed spray nozzle
• The pointed spray nozzle is particularly suited
to cleaning corners where access is difficult.
Since both the temperature and steam pressure
peak just as they leave the nozzle, the closer the
nozzle is applied to the dirty area, the greater
the intensity of the cleaning performance.
• The pointed spray nozzle can either be attached
directly to the handle or also to the extension
pipe, in order to extend the reach.
Application areas:
• Cleaning of taps, drain, washbasins, WC and
radiators.
Plastic brushes
• The plastic brushes are particularly suitable for
cleaning tiles, ceramics and marble surfaces.
• The plastic brushes are screwed in directly to the
pointed spray nozzle.
• Using the pointed spray nozzle, you may
subsequently attach it to the handle or, for
added reach, also to the extension pipes.
• The plastic brushes are not designed to be used
to treat delicate surfaces.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Rinsing out the water heater
Deposits in the water heater mean this should be
regularly rinsed out after it has been filled 10 -15
times.
• Switch off the device, unplug from the mains
and allow the device to cool down thoroughly.
• Once the device has cooled down and the
excess steam has been released, open the
safety catch and fill the water heater with
approx. 500 ml of water.
• Subsequently, resecure the safety catch in place
and shake the device.
• Then open the safety catch and turn the device
over, to allow both the water and deposits to
run out of the water heated.
Window wiper
The window wiper is especially suitable for cleaning
large, flat surfaces, e.g. like windows, tiles, ceramics
and marble.
• The window wiper can either be attached
directly to the handle or, to lengthen the reach,
also to the extension pipes.
• Apply steam to the surfaces to be cleaned, using
the steam delivery button on the handle.
• Remove excess water after steaming and loose
dust particles with the wiping edge.
Important instructions:
• Please note carefully when cleaning panes of
glass that sudden changes in temperature could
cause the glass to smash or break up. When
cleaning the pane of glass, do not direct the
steam jet directly at the sealing joints.
• If it is cold outside, the panes of glass must,
without fail, be evenly warmed. To do so,
gently apply steam to the entire glass surface.
Temperature differences caused by uneven
heating or heating only part of the surface can
lead to the glass spontaneously shattering.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE / HOW TO USE
Descaling the reservoir
Assuming the device is not used exclusively with
distilled water, it must be descaled at regular
intervals. The relevant intervals depend on the
hardness of the water used and the frequency
of use. If your tap water is particularly hard, the
device should be regularly descaled, after it has
been filled 10 – 15 times.
To ensure the operational safety of the device, it is
particularly important to descale the water heater
when signs of calcification become apparent (long
warm-up time, reduced steam pressure).
• Switch off the device, unplug from the mains
and allow the device to cool down thoroughly..
• Once the device has cooled down and the
excess steam has been released, open the
safety catch and empty the entire contents of the
water heater.
• Subsequently fill the water heater with a mixture
of 100 ml vinegar and 300 ml water and let the
descaling solution act for approx. 8 hours.
• CAUTION! The steam cleaner must not be
used, when it contains descaling solution! Do
not replace the safety catch of the water heater
during the descaling process.
• Once sufficient active time has elapsed, empty
out the descaling solution from the water heater.
To do so, turn the device over so that the
descaling solution can run out of it.
• To remove the remainder of the descaling
solution, the water heater must subsequently
be rinsed out 2 to 3 times with clean water,
whereupon it may be reused again.
Care of accessories
• Allow all accessories to dry thoroughly after use
and before stowing them away..
• Do not allow brush attachments to rest on their
bristles after they have cooled and dried, since
the pressure could deform them.
Care of the floor cloth
To guarantee the cleaning power and longevity of
the microfiber cloth, please adhere to the following
guidelines:
• Wash and dry new microfiber cloths before
using for the first time.
• Clean the microfiber cloth at a temperature of
60°C in the washing machine.
• Do not wash the microfiber cloth together with
clothes that fuzz easily, since such fibers may
be caught up in the cloth and subsequently
deposited on surfaces where it is used for
cleaning.
• The cleaning agent use should preferably
be liquid, since the granules of dry cleaning
material do not always dissolve and may remain
within the cloth. This could result in scratches
and stripes on the surface being cleaned when
next in use.
• Be careful to ensure that the cleaning agent
used contains no bleaching agent, since this can
attack the microfiber texture.
• When cleaning the microfiber cloth, do not use
any fabric softener, since this adversely affects
the protective and humidity-absorption qualities
of the microfiber texture.
• To ensure the fibers are not damaged by high
temperatures, the microfiber cloth should not be
dried in a tumble drier.
HOW TO USE
Handling textiles
• Before treating textiles, upholstery or carpets
with the device, you should always conduct a
test to check the tolerance of the material to the
heating and steam treatment.
• To do so, carefully apply steam to an
inconspicuous area of the material to be treated
and subsequently allow this to dry. Then check
whether the colour or shape of the material
have been affected by the treatment.

HOW TO USE / TECHNICAL DATA / ADVICE
ON DISPOSAL
Cleaning of floor coverings
• Work swiftly when treating areas of sealed
wooden and parquet flooring, since the heat
and moisture may attack the sealing and
damage the material.
• For ingrown or gloss-treated flooring, the shine
may be lost following heat and steam treatment.
With this in mind, always conduct a test on an
inconspicuous area before proceeding.
• Ensure you work swiftly when treating plastic
flooring and do not expose the material to heat
for too long. Heating too strongly may cause
softening of the material and affect the surface
structure.
ADVICE ON DISPOSAL
• Electrical appliances should not be placed with household trash. It has been specified
by law that old appliances must be disposed of via public community collection centres
or bulky waste collection.
• This is the only way to ensure that old appliances are disposed of professionally and
utilized.
