Making the batter
1.Place the appliance on a flat, level surface near an electrical outlet.
2.Close the appliance, then plug it into the socket to preheat it. The red indicator
lights up, indicating that the appliance is preheating. Prepare your ingredients
while the appliance is preheating.
3.When the green indicator light goes on, the preheating process is complete.
Brush a small amount of oil onto the plates, then ladle on just enough batter. If
necessary, use a spatula to spread the batter evenly. Do not allow the batter to
overflow.
4.Close the appliance, lock the handle and allow the batter to cook. As baking
starts, steam may come out. Do not touch the handle until the steam stops.
During the cooking process, you may check to see whether the food is ready.
5.Once the waffle is cooked to your taste, raise the lid using the handle and use a
non-metallic utensil to remove the waffle from the cooking plate.
6.If cooking more than one batch in a session, be sure to lower the lid in between
batches to maintain the right cooking temperature.
7.When you have finished cooking, unplug the appliance from the socket and
leave it open to allow it to cool.
