Set up an Oculus account and connect your headset
1. Download the Oculus App on your phone.
2. Connect the Oculus App to a Facebook account.
3. Connect your headset to the Oculus app.
In the Oculus app on your phone go to: Devices // Pair New Headset // select Quest
Quest 2 // follow the instructions in the app and headset
Download the GAIM app
1. Open the camera on your phone and hold it over the QR code
to the right to be sent to the download page, or visit the website
at bit.ly/downloadgaim
2. Press ”Get” and the GAIM app will be added to your library in
your headset. You will nd the GAIM App after a few minutes
under apps in your headset.
3. You can also search for GAIM in your Oculus app on the phone.
Click“Show app” under App Lab. Then click on GAIM to download.
Enter license key
1. Inside headset, start the GAIM App.
2. Enter your license key exactly as written in your conrmation
e-mail ( e.g . X1X5X-7XXX9-XX4X3).
3. Press ”play”.
4. In some cases, you need to go back to license key input and press ”play” again.
If the license key is not accepted:
1. Try to reload game.
2. Try to re start headset.
3. If this does not work contact [email protected].
Bluetooth pairing: trigger – headset
Before you start pairing the GAIM controller, make sure that…
1. the headset and smartphone are connected to the same WiFi.
2. the headset is cleared from all previous bluetooth connections.
In your headset, go to settings // experimental features //
bluetooth pairing // select pair and in the menu, delete any previously
connected devices.
3. the trigger unit is in pairing mode.
Put the battery in the trigger unit. Press and hold the trigger for at least
30 seconds or until the slow blinking starts. The led light on the side of the
trigger unit should start to show a slow blinking pattern. If the blinking
stops, press the trigger once to turn on the blinking again. (The led light is
only visible when the trigger unit is not attached to the controller.)
Start pairing
1. Turn on the headset and open the Oculus app on your smartphone.
2. In the Oculus app on your phone, click on devices and select your headset. It
should say“Connected” in the top left corner.
3. Click on Controllers.
4. Click on Pair New Controller.
5. Put the trigger unit in pairing mode by putting in the battery and then hold the
trigger down for at least 30s to get a calm , blinking light on the side of the trigger.
6. Click on“Pair Gamepad”.
7. Select GAIM Controller from the list. It may take a moment before it appears in the list.
8. You will receive an error message this can be ignored. The trigger is connected!

Recommended Oculus settings
Vibrations
You can lower the vibrations in the Oculus controller.
In the headset, go to:
Settings // Device // Hands and Controllers // Vibration
Intensity and then put the intensity to low.
Inactivate Video Capture Indicator
When recording or casting from your headset, a red dot appears that can be re-
moved. In the headset, go to:
Settings // Device // Video Capture Indicator and turn it o.
Room Scale Boundary
We recommend using Room Scale Boundary to avoid the guardian to show when
swinging the rie.
Start using the system
When the license key is accepted and the trigger is connected to
the headset, the GAIM system is ready to be used.
1. Click on prole to enter and edit proles. Get a prole for each
player to save time om weapons adjustment.
2. Click on cog wheel to enter settings where you can
adjust the weapon settings etc.
3. Click on any tile to open content.
You can check your paired devices in the headset:
Settings // Experimental Features //Bluetooth Pairing // Pair
GAIM Controller should be visible in the list and available as ”Input Device”
Next time you use the headset:
1. Start Oculus headset.
2. Pull trigger one two times.
3. Wait 20-30 seconds for the bluetoothto connect again.
4. If this doesn’t work: go to paired devices as explained above and press connect
on GAIM Controller.
5. Done.

Oculus-Konto einrichten und Headset verbinden

GAIM-App herunterladen

2. Tippen Sie auf„Get“. Dann wird die GAIM-App zu Ihrer
Bibliothek in Ihrem Headset hinzugefügt. Die GAIM-App nden
Sie nach ein paar Minuten unter den Apps in Ihrem Headset.
3. Sie können auch in Ihrer Oculus-App auf dem Smartphone nach GAIM suchen.
Klicken Sie unter App Lab auf„Show App“. Klicken Sie dann zum Herunterladen auf
„GAIM“.
Lizenzschlüssel eingeben
1. Starten Sie im Headset die GAIM-App.
2. Geben Sie Ihren Lizenzschlüssel genau so ein, wie in Ihrer
Bestätigungs-E-Mail angegeben (z. X1X5X-7XXX9-XX4X3).
3. Tippen Sie auf„play“.
4. In einige Fällen kann es vorkommen, dass Sie zur Eingabe des Lizenzschlüssels
zurückkehren und erneut auf„play“ tippen müssen.
Wenn der Lizenzschlüssel nicht akzeptiert wird:
1. Versuchen Sie, das Spiel erneut zu laden.
2. Versuchen Sie, das Headset neu zu starten.
3. Wenn dies nicht hilft, wenden Sie sich an [email protected].

Bluetooth-Pairing: Abzugseinheit/Headset
Vor dem Pairing des GAIM Controller achten Sie darauf, dass …
1. Headset und Smartphone mit demselben WLAN verbunden sind
2. beim Headset alle vorherigen Bluetooth-Verbindungen entfernt sind
Gehen Sie in Ihrem Headset zu„Settings“ // „Experimental Features“ //
„Bluetooth Pairing“ // und wählen Sie„Pair“. Löschen Sie im Menü
alle zuvor verbundenen Geräte.
3. Die Abzugseinheit bendet sich im Pairing-Modus.
Legen Sie die Batterie in die Abzugseinheit ein. Halten Sie den Abzug
mindestens 30 Sekunden lang gedrückt. Die LED-Anzeige seitlich auf der
Abzugseinheit sollte langsam zu blinken beginnen. Erlischt das blinkende
Licht, drücken Sie den Abzug einmal, um das blinkende Licht wieder
einzuschalten. (Die LED-Anzeige ist nur sichtbar, wenn die Abzugseinheit
nicht am Controller angebracht ist.)
Pairing beginnen
1. Schalten Sie das Headset ein und önen Sie die Oculus-App auf Ihrem Smartphone.
2. Tippen Sie in der App auf„Devices“ und wählen Sie Ihr Headset aus. In der oberen
linken Ecke sollte„Connected“ stehen.
3. Tippen Sie auf„Controllers“.
4. Tippen Sie auf„Pair New Controller“.
5. Versetzen Sie die Abzugseinheit in den Pairing-Modus, indem Sie die Batterie
einsetzen und dann den Abzug drücken oder den Abzug mindestens 30 Sek. lang
gedrückt halten, bis das Licht seitlich an der Abzugseinheit langsam blinkt.
6. Tippen Sie auf„Pair Gamepad“.
7. Wählen Sie den GAIM Controller aus der Liste aus. (Es kann einen Moment
dauern, bis er in der Liste angezeigt wird.)
8. Sie erhalten eine Fehlermeldung, die Sie ignorieren können. Die Abzugseinheit
ist verbunden!
Sie können Ihre verbundenen Geräte im Headset überprüfen:
„Settings“ // „Experimental Features“ // „Bluetooth Pairing“ // „Pair“
Der GAIM Controller sollte in der Liste zu sehen und als„Input Device“
verfügbar sein.
Wenn Sie das Headset das nächste Mal benutzen:
1. Starten Sie das Oculus-Headset.
2. Ziehen Sie den Abzug ein-/zweimal.
3. Warten Sie 20–30 Sek., bis die Bluetooth-Verbindung wieder
hergestellt ist.
4. Wenn die Verbindung fehlschlägt: Gehen Sie wie
oben erläutert zu den verbundenen Geräten und drücken Sie am GAIM
Controller auf„Connect“. Fertig.
Empfohlene Oculus-Einstellungen für das beste GAIM-Erlebnis
Vibrationen
Sie können die Vibrationen im Oculus-Controller verringern. Gehen Sie im Headset
zu:„Settings“ // „Device“ // „Hands and Controllers“ // „Vibration Intensity“ und
setzen Sie die Intensität auf niedrig.
Anzeige für Videoaufnahme deaktivieren
Bei der Aufnahme oder beim Drehen von Videos mit Ihrem Headset wird ein roter
Punkt angezeigt, der sich entfernen lässt. Gehen Sie im Headset zu:„Settings“ //
„Device“ //„Video Capture Indicator“ und schalten Sie sie über den Schieberegler aus.
Roomscale-Grenze
Wir empfehlen die Verwendung der Roomscale-Grenze, um zu vermeiden, dass der
Guardian beim Schwenken des Gewehrs erscheint.
Das System benutzen
Wenn der Lizenzschlüssel akzeptiert wurde und die Abzugseinheit
mit dem Headset verbunden ist, kann das GAIM-System verwendet werden.
1. Tippen Sie zum Eingeben und Bearbeiten von Prolen auf die Prolfunktion. Erstel-
len Sie für jeden Mitspieler ein Prol, um bei der Anpassung der Wae Zeit zu sparen.
2. Tippen Sie auf das Zahnrad, um in den Einstellungen
die Waeneinstellungen usw. anzupassen.
3. Tippen Sie auf die einzelnen Kacheln, um deren Inhalte zu önen.

Téléchargez l’application GAIM
1. Allumez la caméra de votre téléphone et placez-la au-dessus
du code QR an d’être diriger vers la page de téléchargement, ou
rendez-vous sur le site web bit.ly/downloadgaim
2. Appuyez sur «Get» pour ajouter l’application à la bibliothèque
de votre casque. L’application GAIM apparaîtra quelques minutes
plus tard dans les applications de votre casque.
3. Vous pouvez également rechercher GAIM dans l’application
Oculus sur votre téléphone. Cliquez sur «Show app» dans App Lab.
Cliquez ensuite sur GAIM pour télécharger l’application.
Saisissez le code de licence
1. Démarrez l’application GAIM dans le casque
2. Saisissez votre code de licence tel qu’il est indiqué dans votre
e-mail de conrmation (par ex.: X1X5X-7XXX9-XX4X3).
3. Cliquez sur «play»
4. Dans certains cas, il est nécessaire de retourner à la saisie du code de licence et
de cliquer à nouveau sur «play»
Si le code de licence n’est pas accepté:
1. Essayez de redémarrer le jeu
2. Essayez de redémarrer le casque
3. Si cela ne fonctionne toujours pas, contactez [email protected]
Appairage Bluetooth : casque déclencheur
Avant de lancer l’appairage, vériez que...
1. le casque et le smartphone sont connectés au même réseau wi-
2. les précédentes connexions Buetooth du casque sont désactivées
dans votre casque, allez dans les settings // experimental features // blue
tooth pairing // sélectionnez appairer dans le menu et supprimez
tout appareil précédemment connecté.
3. le déclencheur est en mode appairage
insérez la batterie dans le déclencheur Appuyez sur le bouton pendant au
moins 30secondes. Le voyant rouge situé sur le côté du déclencheur
commence à clignoter lentement. Si le clignotement s’arrête, appuyez une
fois sur le déclencheur pour le réactiver. (Le voyant rouge est uniquement
visible lorsque le déclencheur n’est pas xé au contrôleur.)
Lancez l’appairage
1. Allumez votre casque et ouvrez l’application Oculus dans votre smartphone.
2. Dans l’application, cliquez sur «devices» et sélectionnez votre casque. La men-
tion «Connected» doit apparaître en haut à gauche de l’écran.
3. Cliquez sur «Controllers».
4. Cliquez sur «Pair New Controller»
5. Activez le mode appairage du déclencheur en insérant la batterie puis appuyez
sur le déclencheur ou maintenez-le enfoncé pendant au moins 30secondes jusqu’à
ce que le voyant situé sur le côté du déclencheur clignote lentement.
6. Cliquez sur «Pair Gamepad»
7. Sélectionnez le contrôleur GAIM dans la liste. (Cela peut prendre quelques sec-
ondes avant qu’il n’apparaisse dans la liste.)
8. Un message d’erreur s’ache alors.Vous pouvez l’ignorer. Le déclencheur est connecté!
